As a big fan of the original games, this game is a disappointment. Although there's the trademark LEGO star wars parody humor, the rest of the game falls flat in terms of simple enjoyment. They added some new features that make the game less enjoyable. For example, in the older games, a jedi could just stand and deflect incoming laser blasts. Now, he has to hold down a key to do it. Also a terrible PC port. Instead of having a simple mouse-WASD keyboard interface you've got on 99% of pc games, it's keyboard only, and with poor logic. Sometimes K is select, sometimes it's back, sometimes Space is forward, sometimes it's jump.

The objectives are so obscure and counter-intutive, I find myself standing around trying to figure out some logic on how to proceed (while getting constantly shot at) or constantly searching through walkthroughs to get the answer (which usually leaves me saying: What were they thinking?)

Ah! LEGO Star Wars games!

This installment is based on the animated series by the same name. While the game doesn't offer the same R-rated content the show does (torture, enslavement, psychological horror, death, etc.) it's an amazing installment in the series. Must buy if you like any of the LEGO games, Star Wars, or ... well... fun in general!

This game is (in my opinion) THE BEST LEGO Star Wars game. I've heard it's confusing if you haven't watched the Clone Wars TV Show, but this game only covers the movie and the first two seasons of the show. Everything from the level design to the battles to the ships and characters screams The Clone Wars This is a must-have game for any fan of The Clone Wars;

One of my favorite games of the lego star wars franchise, not only do they step up the game with you having to do certain actions like force push and lightsaber throw. There is a lot of hype for the new lego star wars.

A long time ago, in a galaxy of adorable little blocks...

Developer Traveller's Tales' LEGO games have never succeeded because they had the best puzzles or incredibly satisfying combat. In fact, in these regards, they were usually pretty mediocre. But they made up for the lack of awesome gameplay with adorable aesthetics and great use of the license. The latest, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, continues the trend, immediately grabbing fans like me with its smart use of the subject matter and cute visuals, and kept me engaged despite its issues with its large mix of simplistic gameplay elements. The final combination is just good, simple fun.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars covers seasons one and two of the popular animated series. Fans of the show get to act out their favorite moments (albeit as adorable LEGO characters), playing a variety of characters ranging from powerful Jedi to the lowliest droids. And like the other LEGO games, players have to use each character's unique abilities to overcome enemies and environmental puzzles.

The puzzles and combat in LEGO Star Wars III aren't amazing. You might occasionally be surprised at a moment where a puzzle is genuinely clever, but they mostly either held my hand entirely or made the solution so obfuscated that they were frustrating rather than rewarding to solve. Likewise, the combat isn't all that exciting with its one-button-does-everything system. But, like so much of the LEGO games design, when you combine these two relatively unexciting portions together, something strange happens: It becomes a simple, engaging game. Maybe it's because together they break up the pacing and keep you in situations that are constantly forcing you to adapt, or perhaps it's because they're so easy to understand that you can kind of zone out and lose yourself to what's going on on-screen. Either way, I became lost to the grind of the adventure. And I enjoyed it.

I would give it a 4.5 out of 10

What I learned from Lego: The longer you punch it, the more coins will pop out. Should not transfer that to real life btw. Highly enjoyable even as an adult. 10/10 Minikits

Great game! I love the new lightsaber moves, like throwing it, but am sad they took out the chain of lightsaber moves like in LEGO® Star Wars®: The Complete Saga. :( Those moves were awesome. But I like it and the hub is so big! The character creator still doesn't have an option for changing your character's animation, possibly choosing from any character's. (I really hope this will be a feature in future LEGO® games... The Hobbit?...) It would be a BIG part of customizing your character. (They should add more body pieces to the creators too...) The front texture on the chest piece is pasted on the back when using some chest pieces in creating your own character, (may happen using any chest piece, not sure) after playing as that character in a level. But this game is lots of fun, worth getting. :)

Another great game from the Lego Star Wars series! And believe it on not, for a third game in a series, it it quite good. I'm 18 and enjoyed it as well as being begged daily by my younger brothers for me to let them play.
