About This Game

The Star Wars® Saga continues with Star Wars®: The Force Unleashed™ II, the highly anticipated sequel to the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever created. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader’s now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller—the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion.

In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader—but instead of training his protégé as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on – Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller.

With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

Key features:
  • Continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV.
  • Unleash the Force with more power and precision through improved controls and new powers, such as the deceptive Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their allies.
  • Discover the true power of Starkiller with Force Fury, where his attacks and Force powers are exponentially increased.
  • Improved targeting system enhances precision use of Force powers and greater interaction with puzzles and the environment.
  • Take combat to the next level with the ability to wield dual lightsabers and punish enemies with all-new combo attacks.
  • Experience the most life-like interactions with Pixelux Entertainment's Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) coupled with euphoria from Natural Motion Ltd and the powerful Havok Physics system.
  • Expanded customization options such as new costumes and power-enhancing lightsaber crystals.
  • Fight through all-new challenge levels designed to test and hone your fighting and Force power skills.
  • Skillfully manage your combat techniques to defeat a variety of brand-new enemies, which will culminate in epic boss battles.
  • Immerse yourself once again in the story that was honored with awards from the Writer's Guild of America and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

Don't get it. To many bugs and you have to install mods to play on 60 fps or higher.

Story is terrible, I have no feel for replaying it. I would recommend the first game.

Better story and overall a better game, I feel this game is rushed. Sadly.

You use the force and kick ♥♥♥! What more can you want out of a star wars game? This game really gives you some free reign to bend the force to your will and be all powerful. If you like the idea of lifting up objects and throwing or using them as you see fit to do whatever you want this is the game for you. I advise playing The Force Unleashed first before jumping into the sequel. They are both great.

Rating 10/10
It's slightly liniar but that will be forgotten fast with the quick action packed levels with plenty of story and carnage along the way.

in my honest opinion this is one of my favorite videogames as i am obsessed with the Star Wars franchise, i like the style of the game and the progression system, i enjoy finding the lightsaber chrystals hidden all over the various levels. i give this game a good 8.5/10 as it has good story and is sooooooo much fun to play

This downloaded version of this game is full of glitches and bugs. i don't know if it is this way from the publisher, or from Steam, but there are a number of issues. From cinematics which stall (but the subtitles still work) to complete gameplay freezes, to the ridiculouse sound errors.

Even though the game is subpar, even though its not even that great as a hack n' slash, these are still errors I don't recall from the PS2/3 version of the game I played.

Vastly infirior to the origional. That's what you get when a dev team is told to make a sequel with less money and in half the time of the first one. It's not *terrible*, but it isn't a good game.

I love the combat. It never gets old throwing stormtroopers off buildings.

But it is not worth 20 bucks. I would pay 5-10 for it, so wait for a sale.

This game is 4 years old now, and I believe it is time for a new review. My standards for review scores are 10 starting points, and -1 point for everything done wrong. Before I continue, I need to state that I am not biased towards any particular gaming company or extended universe/lore. I review the game as it should be reviewed -- as a time waster. Things done right in this game are below:

Great Graphics

Lightsaber Combat and Force Powers Done Right

Many Customization Options (Including several costumes [Just for aesthetics] and many lightsaber crystals which give you different upgrades)

The game has done a good job with capturing the atmosphere of the environments, especially Kamino

Things done wrong are below:

The Story is atrocious, no debate. And with the story being a major point of any game, an extra point is taken off. -2 points.

The player character is a mix of blandness and unoriginality, however, at times, you can feel like an indestructible god, choosing who lives and who dies which provides a fun experience. Not enough to keep a point, however, so -1 point.

Finally, Quick Time Events (QTE's) are abundant, and repetitive. -1 more point.

The final score for this game is: 6/10. While being a good Star Wars game, it still has enough flaws to put it at an average rating. In my opinion, if you haven't gotten this game yet, get it. Even though it doesn't have the highest rating, it can still be a lot of fun if you don't play a game for the story, but to waste time and have fun.

Saw a lonely Stormtrooper, so I thought he needed a friend.
I mind tricked him and he followed me until we ran into some more Stormtroopers.
He was never lonely again.

Would help anti-social Stormtrooper again. 8/10

The torrented version I had years ago didn't crash. This is the CTD version I guess.

TLDR; Get it in sale if you are a completionist, otherwise, don't buy it at all.

My honest pro's and con's list.

Pros:
- I got it for real cheap in the star wars pack here on steam.
- Dude Starkiller found another lightsaber (they has to improve SOMETHING right?)
- Menu plus its navigation improved somewhat compared to force unleased 1

Cons:
- Gameplay is shorter than Force unleased I
- Cutscenes are most of the times bugged, so you miss crucial information
- Texture glitches, like walking through the air, though you are actually on a platform
- Darth Vader was VERY easy to beat since pretty much the only thing that really works is smapping lightsaber attacks in combination with force lighting
- Overall combat is very easy because each unit has at least one major weakness (which is mostly your sabers)
- If you switch focus after launching the game but before it really starts, you cannot alt-tab or play the game. It just keeps focussing, leaving you about 250 milliseconds to search for the program in the taskbar after pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL
- 20% off my gameplay time was due to CTD's and having to do area's again and again
- Sometimes Repulse or lightsaber throw may leave the game hanging, alt-tab out and back fixes it
- Story was really short
- Story was really really really weak, you can see it as the final scene after the clifhanger (which is basically force unleased 1)
- Only three levels really. Kamino, some dusty planet, space ship and... Kamino again? WTF?
- Starkiller is suddenly an even more whiny kid than in part 1 (perhaps a side effect of the cloning process)
- non skippable lucas arts intro, which is getting more and more annoying after each CTD

This is honestly the worst game i've played. The only likable part I found was that it was star wars. The combat is terrible, The targeting literally makes me want to punch myself in the face. I would never recommend someone to play this game. There is honestly no light in this darkness. The developers obviously wanted to make a quick buck considering the game has so many bugs. I feel like they just kept the skin of the first game but made sure the meat and bones of the sequel game was filled with diseases. I never want to see this game again. I launched the game a long time after initially buying the game cause I never had time to play, I was excited to hop in and see the story and combat. It was quickly ruined by the clunky combat and terrible enemy designs along with nothing but a mob grind for a story line. The second boss bugged out for me making it impossible to beat. But with persistance and many many MANY failed attempts due to the bug not allowing my abilities to land the game finally allowed me to hit him and the boss battle lasted less than 2 minutes. I spent an hour just trying to get the game to work like its supposed to... They rushed this game out without any form of proper testing it seems because this game is literally garbage, it should have to pay the player to even think about playing it.

i expected a great story for this game, i was wrong. i dont even know what this game was about beside playing with the force and lightsabers.

there were also a few bugs like not beng able to see some cutscenes.

I would not reccomend paying 20 bucks for 6-9 hours of just slicing stormtroopers.
