Why Early Access?

“We've been developing Earth Under Siege for a long time, it's already fun and totally playable, but at some point we saw that the game could evolve in several different ways. Maybe adding a co-op multiplayer, maybe a rich storyline and a full campaign, maybe the game is good as it is and we could add more content!
So the objective here is to sell the game as an Early Access, build a community and talk to them, see what they want and what are the features they are missing!
Even though there is still some revamp we want to do to the graphics, I would say 75% of the graphics are already final.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We hope to keep Earth Under Siege as an early access for at least 6 months, but that doesn't mean the game will stay as it is during this time. We actually want to start gathering information from the community from day one, and keep updating and testing it with everyone.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want the full version to provide the player with a better gameplay experience. There are some hardcore things that we (developers) already got used to, but we want to check if the game is actually good this way or if it's better to tweak some aspects of it's difficulty.
We also want to create more game modes. As said before, maybe a co-op multiplayer mode. Or if our players miss some storytelling content, we can create a robust campaign!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This version features a complete gameplay experience with what we believe will be in the final version, but you can only play the Survival mode and training levels. It has no critical bugs that we know of and some of the graphics are not final!
This version has some hardcore features that need to be tested and we need to hear from the community if they are fine this way.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We have no experience selling a game and marketing it, so there is a very high chance we will have to change its price after we finish creating the final version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We actually have so many questions to ask our community! We want our players to be able to suggest changes and truly decide what the extra game modes will be, or even what could be the new main game mode!
We want them to tell us if the game is too difficult or too easy, if we need to add more towers or more enemies, if we need to create more competitiveness other than just the online ranking!
We (developers) had so many ideas, but before we start developing any of those, we want to check out what our players want!”
