About This Software

The SteamVR Performance Test measures your system's rendering power using a 2-minute sequence from Valves Aperture Robot Repair VR demo. After collecting the data it determines whether your system is capable of running VR content at 90fps and whether VR content can tune the visual fidelity up to the recommended level. For machines that are not VR Ready the tool can help determine whether capabilities are bound by Graphics Card, CPU, or both.

Really cool software. even though i haven't received my HIVE yet neither have I bought my game. But this software is surely useful :)

my scores a 100% above 90fps with Titan x and same with the Nvidia titan xp sli

Not a good test. It keep saying I went under 90fps 13% of the time. I'm looking at the fps count myself and the lowest was 95. Most of the time it was above 100fps. And it is mis-reporting my GPU model.

I can open the program but when it gets to the loading screen it crashes after 30 seconds crashes. Any suggestions/ similar probelms?

Great App ! glad to know my PC is well into the VR ready range :))

My main rig: AMD FX-6300 3.50ghz , 8GB Shitlistix, R9 390, VR ready. YAY!

My second rig: Intel Core(R) i7 920 2.67ghz, 4gb ram, EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB, VR capable. mmk? I'm not complaining, but an i7 920 is VR ready? Really?

Pros:
-Doesn't show you how much you spent to get to that "VR Ready" box.
-That test results page works well as a virtual trophy.

Cons:
-Had to hold a funeral for my wallet yesterday.

Vive comes tomorrow.

TO all that say it's not picking up your GPU... you are all stupid. you probrably didn't install the drivers and threw away the disk that came with the GPU

System specs:
OS: Windows 10
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SSC 4GB (No Overclock)
CPU: Intel Core i5 6400 @2.70 GHz (4 Cores) (No Overclock)

Also note I did have chrome (1 tab, soundcloud) and skype (in call) open.

Good software to help determine if your pc can run VR
