Five Nights at Freddy's is...repetitive. In a bad way.
This game is pretty much "sit down, watch the cameras and close the doors whenever you need to".
Other than that, you don't press anything else than Mouse1 and move the mouse itself.
Controls are simple, but there are problems with the execution.
I do find the graphics of this game pretty decent and the sounds are all pretty nice, considering this was made by a single person.
But is it worth your hard earned money?
Not a chance.
Five Nights at Freddy's is really fun for the first three nights. The tense atmosphere, the dark surroundings, the freakishly looking animatronics - it honestly gets frightening.
But by the fourth night, you get into this cycle of "checking the doors & cameras" and ♥♥♥♥, that it doesn't become a tense experience anymore - it becomes a frustrating one, the game starts feeling more like a chore.
I would've really preferred if this game's death sequence was something more original.
I hate jumpscares just as much as the other guy, and unless you're good with being in cycles, you're gonna get a lot
I think the jumpscares would've worked if they weren't so...loud. I get that it's the whole point of a jumpscare, but having just the figure at least creep up to you and drag you away
rather than jumping in your face and screaming, I think it would've worked a lot
I honestly don't feel like this game was meant to be played by the casual audience.
It feels more like a game that was built for let's players.
Which is why I believe this game is actually a lot more fun to watch than it is to play it yourself.
In conclusion, I think Five Nights at Freddy's with its rather boring gameplay can feel absolutely dull, with the game overs being handled very poorly, I do not think it's worth your money.
Stay away from this one.
