About This Game

Forsaken Uprising a new MMFPSG (Multiplayer Medieval First Person Survival Game). The game centers on a wide variety of craftable goods and building components that vary in strength and usability. The combat system is very fast paced with a 3 tier stat system based on stamina, strength, and health. The player can literally run until they fall dead of exhaustion. Digital Homicides developers wanted to create a game that combined all the elements of games we enjoyed since there wasn't anything in the market that was giving exactly what we craved. You will have to build your castle, grow crops, and keep your livestock alive so that you can defend yourself from other players or for the brave venture out and lay siege with catapults and take others riches for your own. The following list will be Key implemented features in our release weeks from now.

1. First Person Multiplayer Perspective
2. Piece by Piece castle construction system(including a spike wall to hang the corpses of your vanquished foes on)
3. In depth crafting system
4. Fast paced aim required melee/ranged combat system
5. Stamina/strength/hp stat system to make in combat decisions matter. When stamina empties strength substitutes, lowering strength results in less damage dealt. If strength empties hp substitutes meaning you can actually kill yourself from exertion. The gameplay depth this will provide to combat will be awesome.
6. Catapults to blast open enemy castles and pillage their chests
7. In depth farming system tied into livestock(captured cows will produce manure needed for growing crops and as a fuel source for creating top tier equipment.
8 Farm plots and animal pens are placed the same as the castle system, design your castle how you want. Protect your crops and animals with a layer of stone walls to protect them while your offline.

"Forsaken" is the good word for this product. While I'm not much into multiplayer games, that one surely not a "Massive Multiplayer" and hardly a game at all.

My experience: without any intro I've started in some forest, at the edge of the map and I've seen another edge of that map from my spawn point! Okay, I've managed through some very crooked interface to read a tutorial and equip a stick! With that stick I beat two bears, dozen of people who looked like villagers, and, above all, another dozen of heavily armored troops! Well, at first when I saw two grunts rushing at me, I was scared a bit, in real world or at least in some decent medieval game like Mount & Blade, I couldn't stand a chance against a soldier with halberd or sword and full plate, in plain shirt and with wooden club. But there I've succeeded! I even laughed a bit when I was kicking some elite guard, and two more spawned at my back!

Seriously, you should not start this game. All the interactions in it are luggish, all you can do is running through some very crudely fabricated country-side, bashing everything what comes at you. Multiplayer part? Well, I've met two other people on the server, they were even more distracted than me. Yeah, there is a chat box, but what should we talk about? "WTF?" "Yeah, WTF are we doing here?"

Action part is a major nail in the coffin. There was a time when all we had about medieval combat was Mount&Blade. Now we have some more decent approaches at this theme, some are good, some none, but only "Forsaken Uprising" is suggesting to click down every enemy with a single attack and without any application of any fencing skills.

Maybe crafting part is slightly better than everything else in there, but to do crafting... you need to bash, bash, bash some mobs with your stick and hoping that glitches will allow you to get the loot after you beat some meat. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you: the loot is disappearing quite fast, so if you're fighting with two or more mobs, you'll probably take only the last one box. And that only if glitches will allow you to open that box! After I've opened about the dozen of chests, I suddenly realized I can't do it anymore! The chests just stopped to open to me! So I can't be sure about craft, I just can't get any ingridients.

I must repeat: all the interface is buggy more than useful. Those devs surely needing a decent coder.
My mark is 4/10. 2 points for the effort, one for craft system and one for the road. Road to oblivion, where should go all developers who seling an alpha-build like a finished product, and expecting a good treating from the community. At least there are cards, so I can sell them and therefore get a refund.
