7-23-15 Patch/Update

Howdy all, here is a short list of patches written up tonight and installed.

1. Build denial system extended around all spawn points. There is a small chance you will lose something if you stand outside of a spawn area and attempt to build in it that you will lose that item so make sure you are around 30 meters away. You can test the range by standing near the spawn location and trying to place something - the message will stay active until you exit the nobuild area.

2. The Help menu is gone - Help is now tied to the tutorial which you can turn on and off now. If you need to see the original help menu - it is in the lobby.

3. Some server side logging added. :))

4. Something else but Can't remember off the top of my head. If I do remember I'll add it in this slot.

Sorry I didn't get to address the 'e' issue I ran out of time and needed to get this out.

About This Game

Forsaken Uprising a new MMFPSG (Multiplayer Medieval First Person Survival Game). The game centers on a wide variety of craftable goods and building components that vary in strength and usability. The combat system is very fast paced with a 3 tier stat system based on stamina, strength, and health. The player can literally run until they fall dead of exhaustion. Digital Homicides developers wanted to create a game that combined all the elements of games we enjoyed since there wasn't anything in the market that was giving exactly what we craved. You will have to build your castle, grow crops, and keep your livestock alive so that you can defend yourself from other players or for the brave venture out and lay siege with catapults and take others riches for your own. The following list will be Key implemented features in our release weeks from now.

1. First Person Multiplayer Perspective
2. Piece by Piece castle construction system(including a spike wall to hang the corpses of your vanquished foes on)
3. In depth crafting system
4. Fast paced aim required melee/ranged combat system
5. Stamina/strength/hp stat system to make in combat decisions matter. When stamina empties strength substitutes, lowering strength results in less damage dealt. If strength empties hp substitutes meaning you can actually kill yourself from exertion. The gameplay depth this will provide to combat will be awesome.
6. Catapults to blast open enemy castles and pillage their chests
7. In depth farming system tied into livestock(captured cows will produce manure needed for growing crops and as a fuel source for creating top tier equipment.
8 Farm plots and animal pens are placed the same as the castle system, design your castle how you want. Protect your crops and animals with a layer of stone walls to protect them while your offline.

This game is TERRIBLE! I would have understood it if this was still in early acess (and I mean EARLY, like alpha 0.00001) But SOMEHOW this is a "FULL" game. Yeah....Full of liquid cat ♥♥♥♥ with a sprinkle of burnt hair on top.... Sooooo many things bugged. I mean things that shouldent even BE bugs.

- E button to interact with chests, Loot bags, Crafting tables/furnaces, ect. does NOT function UNLESS! you press esc two times after opening any of the UI menus, such as pressing I, B or, G. then to close those menus press esc x2 or the E key will not work for whatever reason. Like this should NOT be a bug, come on now thats a major key to use in this "game".... -_-'

-I couldent even wear any of the armour I crafted/bought... you can drag and drop it into the gear menu (G key), but as soon as you close out the gear menu, the helmet or what ever you placed is literally still FLOATING on your screen (WTF?!?).

-NPC/Animals all drop the same loot, npc's can drop coins, Leather, Fine sand (cause that makes sence) cloth, and a seed bag and animals can drop meat leather/cloth and a seed bag.(not sure about the undead cause i never even saw one spawn....) Come on how about a little more variety.

-HUNDEREDS of floating objects, trees, placed objects (tables, furnaces, camp fires) stones, npc's, animals, foundations, walls, the list goes on.

-The forge never works...I've tried everything from putting wood and the ore in there, to just ore. I lit the fire first with the F key(suprising that worked unlike the E key, unless ya do what I said above to make it keep working). Maybe I'm doing something wrong with it, although it would not suprise me in the least if it just doesnt work.

-You heal yourself faster than npc's/animals can attack you...yeah...

-Why are there no friendly npc's?! what the hell! Although if I happened to see a naked man with a man-gina running around my village, it wouldent please me either <.< On the subject of the NPCs, their AI is as good as the movie "AI" which was as entertaining as watching a turd in the grass on a hot summer day.

-You literally have to be right up aginst the enemys to even hit them with your weapon, so you'll always be taking damage (not that it matters cause of the health regeneration speed...

-The graphics are...well there okay...I guess... I can deal with them, but there just typical ol' unity style graphics, nothing special and I doubt any are custom and just imported in.

- During the setup screen right when you click the launch button on steam you can set the controlls for the keyboard, except the E, B, and I keys, thats just... uhg...

- Day and night transitions are about as smoth as "Castlevania Simons Quest" on the nes...

- No single player...really....

I could list probably 25+ more things wrong with this abomination but I feel I've gotten my point across...This game sucks clown balls, However! I could see improvement if the dev's actually gave a ♥♥♥♥ and realeased a HUGE update fixing...EVERYTHING. Ill still check on development once in awhile, but I really think this game should have NEVER left early acess untill it was stable in the first place... In the end I give this game a 0.02/10 Definitely needs more than a little improvement, and was not worth the $0.59 I payed, sigh...
