HI STEAM!

We are really excited to launch on Steam! Here are some tips for Mountain:

Leave it open - it's designed to run in the periphery of your life. Only interact with it when you feel like it. You can play Mountain while playing other games. If you are not playing it, it will play itself.

If you're having an annoying storm or boring night, play a melody (using your keyboard) and time will accellerate.

Certain melodies unlock certain modes which get saved in your songbook. Here are some to get you started:

Blood mode : mmmmmm,mnab
Snowglobe mode : bbbbbcb
Fish : cxzxccc xxx cbb

You can also trigger a thought by hitting period (.)

You might recieve items on your Mountain. In this version of the game you can rearrange them by clicking & dragging - and do some other things.

Have fun!

Never have I been able to masterbate to a mountain.
Until now.
The curves, the rocks, the action, the adventure, the sadness, the romance, the drama, it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ic. I can't even contain the feelings I have for this game.

This is not a game, this is not a screensaver. It's like semi-interactive art that slowly changes over time. This is very humbly priced at $0.99, so I suggest when you sell a few steam cards to try it out and see what happens.

Major unadvertised feature: prevents you from playing steam games when you should be doing more important things.

Well, I liked it. I stopped liking it when I discovered that the maximum number of items you can have at once is limited.
I took good care of it, was looking forward to have a giant pile of loot to have fun with, and it never happened.
Forget the screenshots on the Store Page. The limit is something like ~10 items.
It says here "Collect items & Organise them". Nope, doesn't work.

Alright, lets be honest. This isn't some fancy philisophical statement. This is a game where you watch stuff happen to a mountain. Sure, maybe you can pull some thoughtful ♥♥♥♥ out of it, but you can pull thoughtful ♥♥♥♥ about any. I mean it. Read some eastern philosphy. They make up all kinds of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about frogs and flowers and ♥♥♥♥. The mountain is no different. Its an ambiance game, something to go asleep to, or to have in the back ground as you argue about dumb opinons on the internet. You don't do anything, press a few keys, make a few noises, and watch. Its not even that pretty. But its peaceful, and its kinda cool to see what changes over time. If you'd pay a dollar to see a neat thing, see this neat thing. Why not? You'll get more time out of this than watching Jemery Bunters eat that whole thing of mayo and apple juice at lunch tommorow.

It's not a game, it's a screensaver who take about 20% of your processor usage.

Buy it if you want to feel stupid like me.
