About the Game

Prepare for a different kind of poker night in a very different kind of club. In Poker Night at the Inventory, you'll deal with Penny Arcade's clever, cunning Tycho, Team Fortress 2's hulking Heavy, Homestar Runner's self-proclaimed "awesome icon" Strong Bad and the hyperkinetic "rabbity-thing" from Sam & Max. These characters come together in ways some never thought possible, in a setting few would have predicted.
Unlock new TF2 items by beating The Heavy, Max, Tycho, or Strong Bad at high stakes games of poker.

The Enthusiast's Timepiece: Tycho's favorite timepiece (equippable by the Spy)

License to Maim: Max's Badge (equippable by all classes)
The Lugermorph: A second chance at Max's personal armament (equippable by the Scout and the Engineer)

Try this game if you don't want to become unemployed husband/father who lost all of his cash gambling in real life.

TBH, it was the TF2 items that made me buy this. That was the dumbest reason ever. I love this game, and play it whenever I don't have internet. This is the kind of game that is perfect forever. I recommend this whether or not you play TF2. Overall, I love this game. Max and The Heavy are funny as hell, and Tycho and Strong Bad add that little kick. Buy it!! ^^

Do NOT purchase this game if you own a Mac. It will crash every time you attempt to begin a game, with easily reproducable results and plenty of other users reporting the same issue across the internet. Valve and TellTale Games have made no effort to rectify this in nearly a year's worth of unplayability. I'm severely disappointed in TellTale for refusing to support the game, and in Valve for continuing to sell a broken game to their customers.

EDIT: I'm running OS X Mavericks (10.9). It's possible that Poker Night will still work with older versions of Mac OS, such as 10.7.

Never had interest in Poker, but i always loved cards, so i gave it a chance.
After some hours i found myself looking for poker tutorials all over internet and when i finally got the basics of it, it was just a matter of playing time experience until i got the hang of it.

It's still very challeging but not a fog of questions anymore. It felt real good to kick every single one out of the table and then kick the last one with a fullhouse.

Best thing if you want to chill out and play something for relaxing. It DOESN'T feel bad even if you lose, unless you're a hotheaded person, but even so, i do not believe that the chances of ragequits are that high. So yeah, it's good for relaxing.

I DO recommend having a drink on the table while playing this one. Avoid alcohol though, cause you'll need concentration sometimes.

Oh, and do me a favor: Play for the game, not for the items. Of course, you gotta try to knock out when a guy offer an item as stake but just dont foccus too much on doing it, you'll have way more fun that way.

Good evening sirs, and let's open the table.

Too bad tf2 items are the main reason many people are buying this game and, what's worse, most of these people don't even play it, they use cheats to unlock achievements to get their tf2 items.

This game is surely entertaining even if you don't play tf2 and if you don't know any of these characters.

Their dialogues and voice comments are still pretty funny and poker overall is pretty interesting game, of course if you bother to learn at least the basics of it before you start playing.

Even losing in this game feels good, it's just a friendly game with interesting characters where there are fake money at stake.

Better use this instead of gambling your real money, you know.
And use the saved money to buy more tf2 items.
