About This Game

GestureWorks Gameplay is a revolutionary new way to play desktop PC games on tablets, laptops, all-in-ones, and other touch-enabled devices. Gameplay is compatible with Windows 8. Using Gameplay, gamers can download, edit, build, and share their own touch control interfaces for virtually any PC game. Version 2.0 of the software was released on July 28th, 2014, and adds an Android app that uses Bluetooth to make Android devices into external controllers.

Gameplay is a first-of-its-kind gaming utility. Never before have users been able to create their own custom touch interfaces for a variety of games. The concept of an editable and shareable “Virtual Controller” is also new. As the Gameplay community continues to grow and contribute we will add tools to help crowdsource Virtual Controllers for popular games. There are more than 300 virtual controllers in our database, some authored by the Gameplay Team, but most of them shared by users.

As we continue to improve Gameplay and the community spaces on http://gameplay.gestureworks.com and Steam, we welcome your feedback. We look forward to seeing how you use Gameplay and we’d love to hear from you. Please let us know how we are doing.

-The Gameplay Team

Tried it on my Surface Book with Moonbase Commander (doesn't work at all), Sid Meier's Pirates (doesn't recognize input and has glitchy rendering), and Day of the Tentacle Remastered (disables touch input apart from the custom buttons). If it worked properly with even one of those three I would buy it, but unfortunately it hasn't worked in any game I've tried.

0/10. This program is in clear alpha stage. Doesn't work, glitches, causes slow down and crashes programs. Would love it if the dev get's the program working in a universal way, as it would be great for my Surface Pro. As it stand, do not buy this bug fest.

Downloaded the demo to give this a try. Didn't work at all, crashed non-stop when trying to launch games. Gave up after 45m, couldn't make it work and couldn't find any info on my issues. Eventually went with VirtualGamepad instead.

The idea of this tool is perfect for tablet gamers and I'm glad it exists however I could only get it to work with one game - Portal. This may be because I was doing it wrong but it just would not work wiht other steam games or for .exe non steam games and I looked it up and apparently it possible.
So I love the idea however I can not get it to work for me.
Hopefully v2 will fix these problems.

This is perfect. My brother got a Surface today and has been dieing to play Castle Crashers on it. I was thinking he might have to use a controller, which would seem weird. But then I came accross this, and it's crazy amazing. It's very custimizable and very convenient for those gamers with Windows Tablets.
