Same messy game mechanics as in the base game. Few enemies and they will not interrupt the hero. The main problem this dlc is not about football, but resembles a normal pinball. Awful level design doesn't allow you to enjoy football backgrounds or a pinball game. Very often, the ball will bounce and come back, maybe even from goal area to start. Invulnerable fishes will always help in this. As the player moves very slowly and low jumps, in Canyon Capers it means time over and game over. After restarting player form reset to the default England. England took the last place in their group. It reminds me of how bad this game and DLC. Just stupid joke about Rio 2014.

It was a nice idea from the fellas who made this but i wish so much that this DLC pack had a versus mode. It was the first thought that crossed my mind when i started playing. It's a rare twist which i bet would be great to play with or especially against a friend. Same canyon caper levels with all the obstacles and enemies but instead you duke it out together like in the rayman legends soccer minigame except with a platform level instead of a common soccer field.

Sadly that's not the case and while this mini level pack is not bad it's not that great either. Some of the problems you find in the normal game like the confusing hitbox and slow movement (See base game reviews) can be hindering while chasing that football around making it a game that requires patience for all the mistakes that happen while playing. It took some time for me to decide if i should recommend this game or not especially since this game certainly is a great twist to platforming that should not be squandered let's be honest about that, but right now it just feels like it is in need of many improvements and fixes in order to reach it's full potential and that is a thing which lies in the hands of it's creators.

After some time thinking i have chosen not to recommend this DLC pack but despite that i want to give my compliments to all the people who made this DLC and it's base game for putting time and effort into creating a platformer which despite it's simple appearence and flaws surprised me more than once. I hope to see more of you guys in the future.

All the best!
