About This Game

Quite a different zombie game - this time YOU are the zombie! Command your infested comrades, fight your way to freedom and let the zombie kind dominate the world!

In I, Zombie you play as the leader of a zombie horde and your goal is to infect all humans on the map. Whenever you infect a human you turn him into a one of your kind and you can use him against armed soldiers. You're also able to command your horde to either attack the enemies, follow you or wait for orders. Each scenario requires tactical approach and careful planning to achieve success.

The A.I in this game and my mother both have something in common, they both apparently have eyes on the back of their head.

This is the most enjoyable indie little game I've ever played. 8/8 m8.

Get it for like.. I guess 3 hours of fun tops. But it's SO worth it.

Pros: - Nice 2D graphics
- Appealing music
- Zombie title from a different perspective
- Requires a little bit of strategic thinking
- Worth its price

Cons: - Rather short
- Sometimes infuriating (an error usually means instant death)

To sum up, it's a good game for its price as it's quite original and appealing. Definitely worth 2$

Looks like a nice game with decent graphics (for what it is) and an interesting concept. Unfortunately the game mechanics are very imprecise - you have to guess how far enemies can see, how much damage they cause, the zombie AI tends to get stuck, obstacles are seen from an isometric perspective and thus often don't provide cover even though they block your view etc. The result is that challenge equals trial and error in this game. The price is the only thing that is fair about this game.

Still, I've definitely played worse games. But since Steam reviews are either 'yes or no' it gets a 'no' from me.

Fun little indie game. Gameplay is simple; you control a zombie, you eat guards, turn them to zombie, build a little zombie army, eat everyone remaining in the level.

It's a pretty short game, I was able to 100% it in 4 hrs (Less than that, since i minimized the game a lot). The last level will definitely make you rage. For $2 you'll definitely get your $'s worth.

This is one of them games where even if it is a simple game you should read the Help section of the main menu prior to playing the game as I don't think that it is all introduced by just playing - that will save you some frustration...
Another thing is that unless you notice what hats the little guys are wearing and understand what they mean then it will be confusing at least at first... So those that got helmets on are going to shoot you and those with ordinary hats you are going to bite to get zombies to command (stop, follow , attack)...
Personally I think it is a bit strange that the game were not originally tagged as a strategy game also as I think that though "arcade" like then strategy is needed IMO (I see that later it now has been tagged as strategy also).
Otherwise, I haven't played the game that long but it seem worth a try and the small price to pay..
Game is with indie / retro style graphics and while it may look relatively simple then it is probably not that easy.......

Super Cute and Fun Casual Zombie Strat game ! It kinda reminds me of a dumb down version of Stubbs the Zombie lol I dont know if the devs are working on or have it now but, i highly recommend a controller makes it a bit better to control and order your peons around :) Give it a shot !!! The price is well worth it ;)

Zombie apocalypse from new perspective

First of all, this idea is brilliant! But how this game looks like? It is 2D game, you are zombie, you are outnumbered by civilians and soldiers. Your goal is to convince everyone to become zombie, usually by biting. Civilians are cowards, so they just run, but soldiers are brave and they have guns. You have to be smart and always try to outnumber your enemies. You can give simple orders to your small zombie army and develop new tactics.
Game is simple, but enjoyable, graphic and music are ok - it is indie production after all. Flaws? Yes, it's too short and I want it on my Lumia!

My Review:

I, Zombie can be a frustratingly good game. There are portions of the game that I wanted to pound on my keyboards ESC key to quit out, but pressing-on made me savour the eventual victory. Many times, it always comes down to the necessary precision and timing to clear the level. Every once in a while, you clip on a wooden crate that will get you killed real fast. But I can't really complain, the difficulty of the game is on purpose.

Your missions can be to either convert the entire level into Zombies or defeating a scientist on the level. Generally speaking, the mass conversion levels are by far the most satisfying portions of the game. I am not a fan of the Scientist levels.

If you're looking for a short game to master: I, Zombie can be quite rewarding.

Really good game.
First is really easy then you need to be sneaky and suprise the soldiers. Simple game but can be frustrating in a few levels, makes me rage quit like 2 times.

A very pleasent and relaxing puzzle game! It only takes an hour to finish (unless you want to get all stars) but it's money well spent. I loved the cute zombies :D

Short but very entertaining. Brilliant idea and good gameplay. I liked most level, where you need to "rescue" your own Zombie.
Definitely worth a try.

You need this game in your life.

If you're on the fence, stop it. It's $2.

Considering the price, this game is FAR more valuable than the McCheeseburger (and you get to enjoy it longer too!)

I need this on my phone......

Love the taste of brainssss ??? Get this game totaly awesome, command your armies of flesh eating Zombies untill the entire world is infected !!!!!! If you liked plants vs zombies this is for you !!
