Hey everyone and this is my review about the game!

This is a pixelated Fast Pace reflection game.

Interface/Menu/Settings

You are able to play this game in fullscreen mode (Press F)
There is NO MANUAL OR TUTORIAL OR HINTS IN-GAME.
You are able to change the volume of the Music and Sound with a slidebar.
Main menu music is okay.

About the game.

You are playing with a mouse cursor and you have to dodge and avoid any contact. If you touch an enemy/wall/projectile or whatever, you will die and lose a life. It requires alot of fast reflexing and focus. There is no manual or tutorial but on the same time you only need a mouse cursor. I didnt knew you were able to drag with the cursor to make block to kill enemies. I thought the only thing what u have to do is avoid. The game has "achievements and unlockments". You are able to choose from some "abilities" before you are goign to start. 1 more HP, get 1 point each second. and Drag power level 1.

Game is super Repetitive.
Doesn't have alot of variety.
Only Mouse cursor required.
Alot of Trial and error.
There is no Pause button, If you press ESC you will get kicked to Main menu with a nice results of losing all CURRENT progress.
If you have died, you will lose all of your power. (unless ability)

Other things.

Game has some References to other games and things.
Developer trying to be funny with "text".
I have the feeling hitbox isn't always 100% correct.
The more power you have the bigger your drag will be.

-------------------

I Give this game a 3/10

Odi et amo. Quare id faciam fortasse requiris.
Nescio, sed scentio et excrucior!

And you should totally play it yourself. No "let's play" can let you feel the anger and challenge I see and feel through this game!

Played it for approximately 3 hours just in the past three days (when I bought it) and I don't see a point coming where it could turn out to be boring.

I am very confident that I will beat this game, eventhough I don't have a sketchy idea where to find the end.
Until I read that there was an achievment for "finishing" the game three times I held it for an endless game.
Now I am of course very eager to finish it!

$5 for a game about clicking and dragging. Far from a fair price, but the way the game uses these mechanics and the personality in the game more than compensates. Buy if you don't mind dropping money on an anger-inducer.

Grab your mouse and freshen up your click & drag skills for this minigame collection. Which challenges you to draw boxes around targets without touching them.

That's about it.

The basic game play is pretty dry, the long stretches of boxing aliens are broken up by various boss fights minigames. These are the highly of the game giving new challenges and twists to the formula. As good as the bosses are they just aren't enough to make up for the slow repetitive parts that make up the majority of the game.

I have mixed feelings about ths. It's a good game, but it seems to be designed to frustrate you. This is not something I like. 70% of the time that you die, it's from walking straight into an obsticle because it did something stupid, that you should have survived anyway except your damage hitbox is MASSIVE. Also did I mention the game mocks you if you die too much?
It's okay... not for 5 dollars. Wait for a sale IF you are resistand to mockery and IF you are really good at games and IF you have money to waste. 3-6/10, depends on circumstances.

Meh, what can I say.
Good game, pretty fun for a few minutes, but then it just gets boring.
I mean, you can play it from time to time, but it gets boring very quickly and you find yourself wasting your time playing this game for more than at least 30 minutes.
It is alright.

Bought this game because of the positive comments, ended in tears of frustration ...
I'm really not the kind of gamer that love to lose again and again and again and win absolutely nothing when I succeed.
The trolls we get when we lose might be fun sometimes but it's such a bad spirit ...
Even though I improved over the little time I played, I just find it boring (not interested in scoring in any way). I gained my three steam cards and now I probably won't touch this game ever.
I must have played like five games in my life that let me so sad and so insecure about my player skills (that I already know are really bad).
In conclusion, if you are the kind of person that only play games to relax and to immerse themselves in another world far from reality, don't torture yourself playing this mean game. I don't want you to feel sad and frustrated at the end :(.

When I sit down to enjoy a single player game, I want to do just that. I don't want it to take the ♥♥♥♥ out of me and dump me in the deep end right away.

You click and drag the mouse to make a box. Any enemies inside this box are destroyed. You can only make limited sized boxes. There are a few power ups and boss battles. That's all there is to it.

This game is tough from the start. No difficulty curve to get you into the game and make it accessible. It tries to throw a variety of enemies at you but in the end its just a click game that's hard to get into. Combine these factors with being berated if you play badly and the price, its not worth it.

Nice idea, poor execution.

A would be, cool game executed poorly. The game gives you no instruction and is Hard from the beginning. You have to keep losing untill you pick up the mechanics. It feels more like work than fun and the game actually insults you while you play. If you get mad at videogames I would stay VERY FAR from this one.

I think this game gave me Explosive diarrhea .... and that's one of the best aspects of this game.

Pro:
Steam cards & achieves
may be able to run it on a crapple watch

Con:
Price
Visuals
Controls
Entire design of the game
Explosive diarrhea

Overall:
5/10 +1 cards, -1 price, -1 visuals, -2 design, -1 concept = 1/10

Buy when it's on sale for less than what you can make from selling the steam cards. Then unistall and forget.

Feels like my NES days all over again; only this time I'm able to use a mouse instead of a traditional controller! At first it was strange moving around but after some time I finally got the hang of it and got me some high enough scores. It's such a fun and simple game that I can put a lot of hours into trying to perfect. It feels like a rogue-like at times, due to the difficulty and concept of what you retain and what you lose in-game; which by the way, makes everything even better!

Point Perfect is no more than 50mb, a perfect game to load up to help boost your point-clicking confidence!

When this game was loading, it said
"TIP: You should do great with all that hand exercising you do."
...Let that set the tone for this game.

The game is super difficult but the bosses are well designed and fulfilling to defeat. Also it has a pretty cool perk/score system that makes it very replayable.

Play the (probably) most annoying game ever made. That's balanced by the fact that it's also one of the most super-fun games I've ever played. Point Perfect is seriously epic.

WARNING: If you play this game, you will be trolled. Your wrists will bleed, but you will keep playing. You will lose your temper, and then you will laugh. You may lose your sanity, and time, and sleep, but you will still keep playing. Play at your own risk.

Playing this game is like training yourself to become the most powerful mouse user in the world.
As the title have stated "Point Perfect", you need to use your mouse pointer perfectly.

Click and Drag: Prepare to Die Edition.

Honestly, I really appreciate the simplicity of the game, and the lack of tacked-on "features." This is a mouse oriented game, and it does that well- frustratingly so. The pixelly aesthetic compliments this game very well, too- it's way too easy for developers to add distracting graphics to a game to make it artificially difficult, and this game appears to have avoided that.

A good timekiller.

A simple but unique game in which the mouse cursor is your spaceship. You attack by dragging boxes over your enemies while weaving carefully around obstacles and bullets. Sounds easy, but it ain't; one wrong twitch of the mouse, and you're dead. The mechanics are very slick, though, so it'll always be your fault. If you enjoy trollish humor, you will more than likely get a kick out of the multitude of meme-inspired bosses (my favorite so far is an emoticon that belches red ascii phalli).

Frustratingly difficult, but fun and funny. Highly recommended!

It's hard to think of something creative or insightful to say about this game. There aren't really any hidden depths; it's a game where you click and drag to kill things while avoiding actual contact with them. What you see is what you get. Even for $5, it just doesn't seem as interesting as other free games I've played. In just 20 minutes, I feel like I've already seen all the game has to offer. Some interesting achievements might have gone a little further in expanding the concept, or maybe some more powerups and upgrades.

As it stands, it's just a little arcade game. Perhaps a good mindless game to unwind and abnegate with, but not great for extended play sessions. The frustrating difficulty (not to mention the game taunting you if you play poorly enough) and lack of depth make it get old fast.

First Try on Point Perfect

The video is available here:
http://youtu.be/JSK7RcIvs9Q
Let's start off with the fact that the game uses 8-bit graphics and music, which you might have figured out already, when you've watched the promotional material of the game. With that said, if you are not a fan of the modern 8-bit style, you might not want to buy that game. Other than that I have to say that the asthetic of the game appeals to me personally and I find it good for what it is.

Let's move on to the options menu: There is no slider for the music, only a button to switch it on or off. For sound effects there are more options available.
Graphicswise the only option is how big of a window you want. Even with pressing several F-Keys on the Keyboard and pressing alt+enter, I was not able to have a fullscreen mode, you basically the best you can get is a windowed fullscreen.
Gameplaywise this could lead to the problem of you going out of bounds with your mouse and locking it into position as long as you are not going back into bounds. What has to be said though is that the game immeadiately recognizes the position of your mouse when you back into bounds, which dampens the harm that is done here greatly. It has to be said as well that you should not go out of bounds that often, since the game encourages you to have controlled mouse movement via instantly killing you when you move around too frantically.

So, into the game we venture and we find us dying immediately... at least that was me at my very first attempt. The game punishes your old habits of trying to swipe over/into enemies or to klick them. After the initial shock the game shows itself with a relatively smooth learning curve, giving you the chance to improve with every round you play.
The game has hard parts as well, but none of which can be considered unfair. The bossfights seem unbeatable at first, but with enough practice you will find out what they can do and deal at least a little damage to them.(Which is as far as I have got)
Stagewise I can say that you have a pool of stages which will come randomly and so far(after about 10 games, which are 30 runs) I found for myself enough variety in them. When you don't get past the first boss for a very long time though it might become repetetive so keep that in mind.

Finally the tl:dr: Is it worth it?
  • If you are a fan of casual games, which you can pick up, play them for 10-20 minutes and put them away again, I consider it a definite buy for you.
  • For the avid gamer who wants his old habits questioned by another game(after antichamber and the stanley parable), I'd say buy it.
  • For the people that don't find themselves in one of the two groups, described above, I'd wait for a sale, if I were you.
  • And finally, if you can't be asked with anything the game has to offer or you find the problems I've stated too big of an issue, I would leave my hands off that game

As for myself, I have to say, I enjoyed it and I can recommend it.

Point perfect is a really good, slightly rage inducing 8-bit game (a fantastic soundtrack by the way) with good mechanics, and great gameplay. However it is not quite a complete game yet, with a lot more options needed in the options section and only a few playable characters. However it is still a new game, and with the great reception this game has recieved I am sure it will further motivate the developers to make this game better. I am still new to this game, but my final verdect has to be 9/10.

This is a fun little twitch-action arcade game with randomized elements and a quirky and immature sense of humor. It's not nearly as difficult as the store page makes it out to be; it's surprisingly well-balanced, clever, and fair.

In this game, you control the same mouse cursor that is used by your operating system (if you find the game too difficult, you might have to tweak your mouse's speed and acceleration settings, or just get a better mouse). You defend yourself by dodging enemies and gain points by drawing selection boxes around enemies. You can collect up to 3 powerups to expand the size of your selection box, but you'll lose them if you die. And that's all there is to it.

The biggest problem with this game is that, despite its simplicity, it doesn't explain itself very well at first. Each time you play, you will play a "set" of three games. At the end of the three games, your worst score is dropped and your two best scores are added together to make your score total. Additionally, you can choose one of three classes each game which will give a useful perk, and you are also randomly given an item every game which you can choose to keep or drop in favor of your old item (if you still have it). It’s not complicated at all, but without a tutorial of some kind, newcomers are bound to get confused with all the icons flashing across the screen when they just want to try playing the game for the first time.

The other problem with this game is that one boss (“Invader Prime”, which you are not guaranteed to fight each game) can kill you completely at random giving you no chance to defend yourself, unless you flip to Windowed mode for the duration of the fight and abuse a certain interface quirk (moving the mouse off the screen and entering from another side, effectively teleporting the mouse). It’s a pretty strange design flaw in such an otherwise well-designed game, although this same interface quirk can be used to cheese many other challenges in the game, making them much easier. This trick is actually endorsed by the game’s creator, so it must be a feature and not a bug, right?

Overall, I had a lot of fun with this game, and I never felt that a death wasn’t my fault. Although the final objective of the game is ridiculously difficult, it’s not achievement-related at all, and the hardest achievement is fairly reasonable and satisfying to attain. Recommended for anyone who ever had any sort of fun with the BIT.TRIP series, and would like to try conquering a game that isn’t half as hard.
