Why Early Access?

As a small indie studio, making a game like Divinia Chronicles: Relics of Gan-Ti is a massive undertaking; this is why our game has been in development for quite some time. As we are putting our heart and soul into this game, we really want to make sure we get everything right before release! We intend to use Early Access as a way to allow YOU to have a say in the final version of Divinia Chronicle: Relics of Gan-Ti’s development while giving you a sneak peek.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Divinia Chronicles: Relics of Gan-Ti will feature a story driven campaign taking place in a vibrant world ripe for exploration with many dungeons and puzzles to master. Most of the game content (such as environments, dungeons, monsters, etc.) is already finished, but still lacking the final level of polish. We decided the most efficient way to release is to first polish the early chapters of the game (EA version) before bringing the rest of the game to the same level.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The current Early Access version contains the first 7 chapters of the game including: The complete prologue, the main open world, the first three dungeons and the magical powers of Celena and Stein, the elemental spirits of Light and Earth.

The complete game will feature 2-3 more chapters and the magical powers of all four elemental spirits; as you progress through the game you will unlock new magic powers and need to switch between them for fast-paced and challenging combat.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As the game is not finished, we want reward those who take a leap of faith and throw their hat in early. Once the game is completed, we will gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features. The price of the full game is expected to be approx. 30% higher compared to Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Divinia Chronicles: Relics of Gan-Ti’s game hub and forum will be the place for all your questions and suggestions. My name is Martin ("Dieblein") and I am the founder Team Monkey and Divinia Chronicles (from all the way back when I started it as a HL2 mod). Like all team members, I will be browsing the forum regularly and replying to you as soon as possible. I want to take this chance and personally thank both you and everyone on the team for their awesomeness for supporting me all these years! It started as a dream and now we are so close to reality you can almost taste it!

V.095a - Chapter6+7 / Spell-Levelling System

Dear friends,

We have good news to share! :steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:
After lots of hard work we completed two major tasks at the same time and decided to combine both to a major release before the holiday season:

Version 0.95a
This update finally introduces the new Spell-Levelling System: From now on you gain spell points on levelling up your character to upgrade your favourite spells. Choose wisely, each spell is especially useful for certain adversaries. Next, we improved both movement and combat significantly. We added sprint mode, which allows you to explore the vast environments much easier. Finally, we unlocked the next 2 chapters of the game: Travel to the sea of sand to meet new wonderful characters and explore the mysteries of the great desert. How to play?
If you are an existing player, you may continue from your previous progress if you like. Based on your current player level you will gain spell points which you can attribute freely as if you would have levelled during the previous game. Would like to unlock all chapters of the previous release? Please follow the instructions here: “divchronicles/cfg/autoexec.cfg”. New player? Perfect, just launch the game and you will be ready to go.

What’s next?
For the next milestone we will unlock the shop inside Medari village. You will find gold and artefact shards inside the world which you may use to upgrade your weapons and gear. I guarantee that you will never need real money or loot boxes to unlock anything in Divinia Chronicles :-]. Aside from that, we are working on the final show-down of the game, which will take you tothe smouldering lava pits of Mt. Suvius.

Although 80% of the campaign is already completed, we could not complete the full story as of now. We are sorry for the delay and that we have to push back the deadline again :steamsad: We simply do not want to not rush the game release with a half-hearted ending.

About This Game

Divinia Chronicles: Relics of Gan-Ti is a single-player, classic-style Action-RPG with unique real-time combat system and fantasy world to explore

A long time ago at the peak of the High Kingdom of Pandura, a group of seers looked into legends of a powerful force believed to be the origin of life; this they called ‘Gan’, though modern peoples know it as ‘Divinia’. The ancients sought to utilize Gan as a weapon; in doing so, their perverse intentions spawned the malignant ‘Gan-Ti’, or ‘anti-life’. Infusing Gan-Ti into artifacts, the godlike High Kings ruled the Panduran Archipelago with an iron fist. Eventually, rebellion arose and the Order of Archkeepers was formed of the most noble warriors to free the people. They managed to capture the relics of Gan-Ti and cast them into the fiery pits of Mt. Suvius near the shores of Oria island.

With the evil power of the relics suppressed, the monsters that terrorized the countryside were slain and the old Kings overthrown. Peace had come. As of late, however, rumblings have been heard from Mt. Suvius, and the wise have come to fear an eruption. With a reckless young King having just assumed the throne of Oria, will the powers of Gan-Ti again fall into the hands of the most powerful, or can a new force arise to combat the inevitable?
