A very decent little game. This is a plants vs. zombies like game (in the meaning that plants shoot at zombies, not like the PopCap great game).

You have three plants that shoot differently and need to reload after few shots and you need to survive waves of zombie attacks. Basically that's all that is to say about the philosophy of the game.

Pros:
- power ups - additional sacks of seed (read - extra lives), invulnerability (for some seconds) and air strike to wipe screen clean of zombies
- it's pretty pleasant to play
- variety of minigames - shoot at crates, collect coins, bomb zombies from above, etc.
- levels are greatly paced - this game is not boring
- colorful and funny enemies
- you can upgrade stuff by means of coins

Cons:
- plants look ugly - like I don't know, some grizzled good-for-nothings
- graphics are well, very basic as you can see on screenshots
- if you want to upgrade every plant that would mean a lot of coin-grinding
- reloading takes too long imo
- price - 7 Euros is a bit too many for such a basic game
- whole game can be finished in under three hours

Overall, I like this game. It's simple, it's funny, it's fun. If you like such games then go and grab it on some discount for about 2 Euros/USD.

UPDATE:
The game saves its state in the following path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppMania\I Am Vegend (found it in the discussion section of the game), thus if you clean such folders regularly you may find your cash and upgrade state wiped clean. Surprisingly, you still can access levels that you have completed. Just have this in mind.

Feels and plays just like a mobile game.

It's not terrible per say, but it feels like an attempt to give proper combat to the Plants vs Zombies formula and while it might work on mobile, it just comes across as slow and unsatisfying on PC. It's nice that the game has an interesting twist, but it means that any strategic play you had in PvZ is swaped with just spamming of flower weapons, which got tiresome very quickly.

Maybe worth it for die hard tower defense fans, but otherwise not worth buying.

This game is horrible. Ripping off PvZ and Angry Birds and a few other random little rip-off bits. This game is barely original and should be free if anything.

At first, I gave it a go because I wanted to see what this game was like... i didn't even have to start playing to realise that this game is clearly better suited to a tablet or mobile phone... When transfering to a computer, the rezolution needs to at least match the monitor.
Futhermore, there are some very poorly implimented aspects of this game that make for some repetative and boring gameplay with little more than the feeling of something missing.

slow-moving projectiles aiming for enemies that move apparently at random? bad combination. Add that with a reload timer and a short 'clip' for each of your 'turrets' and you are often left relying heavily on power-ups you need to buy time and time again. This is not a game for the PC, it should have remained on whatever device it was designed for.

The designers would need to seirously overhaul this game to make it a viable option, not to mention graphical suggestions. The feel of the game is very cheap and not very pleasant. In serious need of refinement

An okay flash game, carpal tunnel inducing. Has no microtransactions which is a good thing. However, the cost of the upgrades seems too high. It's around 80k coins to upgrade everything, but each level only gives 1k coins. I don't understand what the nanotechnology from the R&D labs does, but it seems to give my plants a free upgrade.

The firing mechanism differs from Angry Birds in that you click at where you want the projectile to land, and the arc is calculated automatically. Unlike Plants Vs Zombies, you switch between the three plants by pressing 1, 2, 3 so only one plant is firing at a time manually. There is no automatic fire which is a negative. Another negative is that this developer doesn't seem to have a Steam presence, so there are no trading cards and achievements and updates although there are in-game achievements.
