Mehhhhhh, I've played this for about an hour and I have to say, it's okay. The gameplay is pretty nice, some standard falling block match-3 stuff. Problems only start to occur just by pausing the game. Pausing the game turns down the volume of the music which makes you think that it's paused... Only to realize it isn't when you hear the music volume go back up after it loops. Speaking of loops, minimizing then reopening the game while paused plays an audio loop for a special block if you're about to drop one, even when you turn down the sound effects volume in the pause menu.

Game crashed randomly for me, probably other bugs I don't feel like searching for it's not horrible but it's definitely not worth $3. Sorry if I sounded nitpicky but honestly, it all kinda kills the experience for me.

This is rated down a lot, so I'll be a contrary voice.

Yeah, it's somewhat unpolished. It also seems fairly basic. OK, I can't argue with that.

But, on the other hand, it's pretty inexpensive (especially on sale) and makes a good game. I come back to play it when I have other, more polished but vaguely similar games in my library. Why is this one special? It works for what it is. Some others fail by trying too hard (like the Montezuma and Heroes of Helias games), with balance or just strange bug problems (like the Might & Magic Match 3 game, which I wanted to love) or just weird blandness issues (Puzzle Kingdoms or Tidalis). It even beats some puzzle games I really, really want to like because they're so artistic (the Kami paper color change game, for one) but just can't. In comparison to all of those, I sometimes semi-regularly just want to play this game...

...and that means thumbs up from me. Your mileage may vary, but, since I disagree with the average rating, I had to weigh in.

Cobi Treasure is a puzzle game which combines Tetris with match 3 in a row. It feels unpolished and there frankly isn't a lot to do. There are better puzzle games available for free online, so don't waste your money on this.

What is Cobi Treasure Deluxe? It’s a crapware Bejeweled Tetris hybrid, and it’s far from deluxe. It baffles me that people will pay for these things, there are a million free versions of this exact same game and I’d hazard a guess that around 40% of the free ones are of higher quality than this game.
As if charging for this game isn’t bad enough, the actual game is hideous, the art looks like it was from a microsoft clip art library and the music can’t be longer than a 30 second loop off of a royalty free site. Avoid this game like the plague.

Painfully simple match three game. The nautical theme feels more like a level on a deeper game but it never changes. There are three game modes each of which start out simple and slow and progressivly get faster while also introducing items that make it more difficult to make matches.

The Steam Store's description of this game is short on information, so I'll try to add a bit more to the discussion. Cobi Treasure Deluxe is certainly functional as a Match 3 puzzler, but its core mechanic, manuevering the blocks, just feels unwieldy. If the blocks are along either side of the screen, it becomes impossible to rotate them, forcing the player to move one space left or right, rotate, then move back. This has caused me to make multiple mistakes. There are additional items that can break up the monotony--check the video to see some in action--and this is a good addition, causing the player to rethink his or her strategy. The game seems to be envisioned as a low-budget time-killer, and I will agree that it's good for that much. But with better games out there in this genre, why not kill your time with those instead? I quit after an hour in.

Get this on sale and it's not bad. But not a new shiny super cool type bubble pop game. Not dynamic what so ever.

For cheep as in half a buck, it's fun.

I didn't think a brick-falling game could have control this bad.

Plug up your NES and play Tetris instead. If you play this, you'll wanna punch a sea-horse when you're done.

This is a quite fun little game. But the problem is:
It´s cost. I would accept it if it would be 0.99 € or less.

3/10 "Should be a free flash game"

A heartless match-three game that has no controller support. The graphics are okay, the music is... well, it has alot of blocks! They make noise when you match them. Yay! Frankly, this a rubbish game that reminds me of the sort of software titles that come in kid's cereal boxes.

Okay let me first start out as explaining the low play time, so I'm not entirely sure what classes as beating this game. There is zero multiplayer and I beat all the high scores of the AI on every single game type, in less than an hour.

I am almost 99% sure this is not a game meant for adults due to the nature of the graphics and sounds, but I think it may be a little too difficult for children under the age of 9 or so since it doesn't just use the basic "match three" type rules. There are plenty of different types of blocks which drop which actually got me confused at times (not hard, I know).

I'm not really sure I can recommend Cobi Treasure due to the sheer fact that you can practically accomplish everything the game has to offer in less than hour. At the moment, there are tons of match three games on Steam such as Luxor that do this type even better and are much more accessible by the younger audience.
