Chicken Invaders 4 Thanksgiving Edition DLC

The Thanksgiving Edition of Chicken Invaders 4 is now also available as DLC.

Don't forget that in multiplayer games, it's not necessary to use the same edition for all players -- each player can use whatever edition they prefer. For example, it's perfectly possible for one player to use the Thanksgiving edition while other co-players use the Standard or Easter editions).

About This Game

I remember the day of the invasion well. The memories still burn deeply, like spicy chicken wings.

They came without warning, squawking menacingly, their ruffled feathers darkening the sun. Invading intergalactic chickens, out to punish humanity for our oppression of their earthly brethren.

I instantly knew what had to be done. I dropped my half-eaten chicken burger and jumped in my cockpit. With a greasy finger I set my lasers to "extra crispy" and blasted off to intercept the fowl invaders.

It wasn't easy. Squawks, feathers flying, the smell of charred chicken everywhere. Three times they invaded, each time with increasingly devious plans. Three times I managed to push them back whence they came, and secure humanity a few more years as the dominant species of this planet.

After their last retreat, I headed for my local Space Burger to bask in the glow of my recent victory. Breathing a sigh of relief, I sat down to enjoy a double chicken-burger with crispy chicken wings on the side.

Little did I know that my greatest adventure was yet to come...

Nostalgia written all over this. I remember playing the first one when I was a little kid.

Who woulda thought chickens would be your greatest enemy?
This is an arcade styled game where you shoot up chickens in your spaceship. Waves, bosses, pick-ups, you name it!
Easy to play and very enjoyable.

10/10

This game is just pure AMAZING. I played the first game when i was younger and the game has only gone up from there. The game may look simple but it can get pretty difficult. 100000/15

AUDIO: Stock                                                AESTHETIC: Goofy
MEMORABILITY: Strange                         WORTH: Full Price

PROS: Fun shoot 'em up with wave-style levels and power-ups to change gameplay! Plenty of levels and unlockables to keep you busy. Multiplayer is stable and really fun.

CONS: Stomach-churning jokes and dialogue. Music is very boring with how unoriginal it is. Game is quick to punish your placement on some waves with quick enemies that may move to your unlucky position.

OVERALL: I can't believe I'm saying this, but Chicken Invaders 4 is fun. It's really fun. I can't believe I'm saying this either, but... It's really fun with friends. You'll WANT your friends to know about this hokey little game so you can share it with them.

I've played chicken invaders ever since I was just a young potato, now, I play it even as a ripe old one.
the game is basic: there are 12 star systems each with 10 waves, shoot chickens using different weapons (green, white and black are my fav), gain explosives by gathering chicken-related-meals, use satellite weapons for extra damage, and avoid feathers, bird poop, eggs, and bird weapons.
Be warned, however, these chickens are smart as fudge balls on a stick. I mean, how the hell did they manage to almost take over the world? Step up soldiers! Save our galaxy!
you can choose difficulty level and also upgrade and unlock stuff using the golden keys.
9/10 (mostly because its a pretty mindless game. I usually listen to music and think about life while i blast these suckers)

A charming little bullet hell game. The story behind the chickens being the true good guys and us slaughtering them merely for chicken burgers really struck a cord in me.

I felt like the bad guy - but it left something inside me that I knew I wouldn't forget.

Lovely time with this title - the inclusion of online multiplayer was an enjoyable surprise and I am happy you went for it.

Look forward to the next title!
