When it comes to how it’s made and how it runs, I would say this is a pretty bad game. It’s unpolished and just generally feels amateur. But it's cute and I still ended up playing and 100%ing it. I’d say It's a very easy 100% and that’s the only reason really why I even started it.

It can be quite charming and adorable at times but can also be quite frustrating with the camera angles and just generally it being a low budget/quality kind of game.

"Classical elements from the 90's games and new interesting ideas."
The camera, as mentioned earlier, reminded me of the Mario 64 rage days. When you find yourself literally screaming at the screen as if that would actually help the camera move into a less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ position. Which if I’m honest, is the wrong part to be remembering of that 90s nostalgia.

It's not really at all challenging, the levels are pretty casual and are completed pretty easily. You collect berries as you go, which help to unlock levels, but there isn’t all that many levels to unlock so after they are unlocked the berries become somewhat pointless.

The story is pretty lame, but I think that just fits in quite well with how the game is supposed to be adorable and cute but so badly made that it’s just like… what?

But yes, all in all it’s quite bad but I’m still recommending and it and I still played through and completed the whole damn thing. No regrets!

TL;DR : Badly made, but play it anyway it’s frustratingly adorable and easy to 100%

Average platformer. Colorful, if dated graphics. Simple concept. Get the berries, get the water drops, complete the stage. Do it 6 times and you win.

For people looking to 100%, plenty of achievement guides (and exploits) to easily get you there.

If its on sale, (currently .74 cents) its a worthy addition to your library.

Woodle Tree Adventures is a quick and casual 100%. The levels are simple and quaint. It's very linear but it's not something you play when you want a challenge. It's more of a pick me up game when you're in between other activities.

The camera needs a lot of work. Most of the time it gives you awkward angles and there's not a whole lot of options to re-adjust it.

Adorable game overall. I recommend it for an hour or two of half-bliss.

Woodle Tree Adventures is a very bright and mellow game, providing a short but pleasant reprieve from loud, monochrome murderfests. It is a safe, relaxing, no-frills 3D platformer with a gorgeous if slightly saccharine aesthetic. The game can be enjoyed by all ages, but balance the $3 price tag against the short length, limited replay value, and control issues. The jumping puzzles demand precise controls that the game just doesn't have, and the antagonistic, glitchy camera will frustrate young and old alike. Nonetheless, I was pleasantly surprised by this game. It really chilled me out, I fell in love with the visuals, and I had a lot of fun for the less than 2 hours it lasted.

With this game, there isn't much to talk about.

Note my play-time, I didn't quit the game early. That's about how long it's going to take to beat Woodle Tree Adventures. Getting all of the achievements might triple that play-time, but that's entirely because they're a fruit-collecting grind.

Why do I recommend it?
Well, it's very pleasant. WTA is a fine change of pace from sadistic games like Wings of Vi. You don't have to worry about dying horrifically every five seconds just to reach the next checkpoint (where you'll die even more). Your only mission in this game, is to hop around and be at peace.

If you're looking for something with a bit more substance, then look elsewhere. I didn't mind my play-through of WTA. If nothing else it was a well-deserved break from the hell I usually put myself through.

This game does not have any cool, fancy game mechanics or features. It's platforming at it's very basic, and I love it so much.

You play as a cute tree stump named Woodle who are being asked to bring back water to the forest. On each level there are three water drops hidden somewhere on the map, and you need to collect all three of them to complete the level. The only way to defend yourself against the enemies is hitting them with a leaf. You will make them dissapear in one hit, but in one hit they will send you far back in the level.

Woodle carries a bag in which he puts berries into that are scattered around the level, there are so many of them. With the berries you can unlock levels and upgrade your leaf so it becomes better. When you have enough berries you can unlock a cute bandana for Woodle so he looks even cuter.

It's one of my favourite games because of how simple it is to play, and how really cute everything looks. Sometimes you can't tell difference between a good person and an enemy. I like the level designs and the fitting soundtrack. I love the snow level especially. The only negative thing about Woodle Tree Adventures is the camera. It's a mess to control and it often gets stuck behind a block so you can't see where you're going.

It takes around an hour to complete, and it's really enjoyable for that short time. :3

They need more checkpoints.
But it's colourful and cute.
But don't play this if you're above 18 years. :>
It's worth buying!

$3 I wish I could trade for a key

Woodle Tree Adventure has catchy relaxing music. Artwork and models appealing to maybe the younger audiences or more oldschool gamers out there. The controls are easy to use and handle, making it comfortable and friendly to play.
The game lacks base and depth, there feels like there is hardly any objective as the game is mind numbingly boring and easy, taking you through 6 worlds with the same mechanics and mobs.
Although the music is really good, it is the same ~10 seconds of music looped over and over, without it changing through the levels, making a really repetative listening experience.
The story is about saving the world with water drops you collect on your adventures, however, this feels like a task that has very little reward and no feeling of satisfaction upon completion. In this world, very few mobs fight back and everything is a 1 hit kill. but when you touch these mobs, you die instantly and are sent back to the start of the level! Your progress isn't even reset, the mobs and items are still in the same place, you just have to run back to where you left off, which can be a very annoying task when your camera is glitched into the floor!
I hate to bash games with only wrong things about it, but I feel I summed up all the good things in the second sentence of this review.

It took me a total of 2 hours to fully complete the game and 20 minutes to speed run it.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this game as it costs 3 dollars which could be spent on a better game such as the Binding of Isaac, in my opinion.
