This game really surprised me. I won a free key in a giveaway and wasn't expecting much of this game, but it was really fun to play the cute little tree.
A big contra: you can beat the game in less than 2 hours, but i think maybe that's the attraction of this game. Its a lot of fun for 2 hours, but nothing more. It would be a really great free-2-play title, but i wouldn't recommend to pay money for it. 7/10

Very colourful and cute game.

Easy to unlock all levels to reach the ending and get all achievements in the game. No time limit restrictions or challenges, freedom to decide whether to knock out and remove all unfriendly creatures from the level or to simply run past them and an unlimited number of lives and retries to finish each level.

I loved the trailer when I saw the game in a Humble Bundle. But when I played it, I was pretty disappointed.
The graphics are very cute. I also love the concept of the character and the enemies. But it can be a bit improved. It looks pretty unfinished. It just misses something what I cannot name.
I liked the levels, not too easy or difficult. And your character carries a big bag to collect berries. The more berries you collect, the bigger your bag becomes, which looks pretty cute. But the camera mode is terrible. So that killed a lot of my experience in the game. Because the lack of a proper camera and so the view over the level, made it hard to see what I was doing or where I had to go.

I wish there was a neutral option instead of just positive or negative. It is a cute game, but there are a lot of minor annoyances. But it is not expensive, so it is not a big waste of money. It is still fun to play when you have nothing to do. It is just not a game that I would recommend to all my friends.

My rating for the game: 5/10

Could have been so much more. I was hoping for a cool take on an older game, but the controls and camera are terrible. The storyline has no exposition, and nothin is explained. Don't expect to to be given much info o nthe setting, or even how to play the game. Seven minutes was far long enough. Don't bother.

My 3 hour record is the result of me playing the game three times on my own and one time on co-op with my little sister. That's how short this game is and it also kind of indicates how much substance this game lacks.

A block of wood is set on an adventure by its father, the tree, to collect water drops for the dry world. There are seven worlds with each of them housing three drops. On your "adventure" in those worlds worlds you meet "enemies" and collect strawberries to "eat" them.

I guess I normally wouldn't bother writing a review of this game seeing how it was made by one person, maybe even his first game, and there's been lots of free give aways (where I got my own key from, thankfully), but it is still a fully working product sold on Steam so it should be reviewed as such.
I honestly played this game for the achievements and even those weren't challenging nor fun.
The quotation marks in my description of the story are for a reason. You can hardly call it an adventure when you can run through the levels in a matter of few minutes without collecting the strawberries and without hitting the enemies. There is no other point in collecting the strawberries other than for the achievements and for the leaves which act as weapons. But even then there's no point either in killing these really random enemies with most of them idling and avoidable.
The levels are too easy and too short, the camera angles are often really bad (including this bug which when you fall and respawn, the camera changes its position behind a wall and you can't see where you're going) and even the co-op isn't fun because the camera is fixed on player 1 so the other player has to keep up on all times.
Only positive I could come up is the animations. Really simple but still kind of cute.

I am not such a huge fan of platformers but I still can't imagine how playing this is supposed to rekindle your fond memories of classical games of the genre. I don't even like Mario games that much but I just can't see similarities between this and Mario 64.
It seems too simple of a game for an adult to enjoy. But if my 10-year-old-sister didn't like it either then how young would you have to be?

I'm surprised too see I managed to write such a lengthy review but the tl;dr version is this: not worth paying for and even as a free game fun only for few minutes.

+ Cute animation
- Gameplay lacks
- Extremely short
- Too easy
- Bad camera angles
- Story lacks
- Random enemies
- Even co-op isn't fun

worst game ever.
crap controls, some times too responsive or non-responsive.
weird camera angles, which you can't change. blocks progress sometimes.
no proper checkpoint system.
don't buy it, unless its free, because trading cards = profit.

I got this game for free and I still feel ripped off.

The characters are nightmarish, the controls and camera view horrendous and I have no idea what the goal is of the game. There are far too many better games out there to recommend this to anyone.

Although the game looks meh, the upgrades do nothing, and the camera is all screwy, it's still a cool game. It's good to play if you don't have much else to do.

I had high expectations for this game. On trailers it looked like a solid, fun and cute platformer. Sure, it is cute. It also looks fun, but I can't say that after I played Woodle Tree Adventures. This is the main problem with this title. On screenshots, it looks amazing, but when you play it, it's just terrible. The longer you play the more problems there are, mainly with camera. Physics also feel strange, and when you mix both of these things you are stopping to have fun, because even simply jumps makes you sometimes easily to fall and die, and you need to go with few parts of game over and over. It would be cool if the game was hard, but if it's problem of how's the game was made then it's not good. If you didn't managed to get this game for free then skip it, there are plenty of platformer games that are much better, that are actually worth money and time spending in.

Cute design and soundtrack, but your main enemy shouldn't be the camera.
