When it comes to how it’s made and how it runs, I would say this is a pretty bad game. It’s unpolished and just generally feels amateur. But it's cute and I still ended up playing and 100%ing it. I’d say It's a very easy 100% and that’s the only reason really why I even started it.

It can be quite charming and adorable at times but can also be quite frustrating with the camera angles and just generally it being a low budget/quality kind of game.

"Classical elements from the 90's games and new interesting ideas."
The camera, as mentioned earlier, reminded me of the Mario 64 rage days. When you find yourself literally screaming at the screen as if that would actually help the camera move into a less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ position. Which if I’m honest, is the wrong part to be remembering of that 90s nostalgia.

It's not really at all challenging, the levels are pretty casual and are completed pretty easily. You collect berries as you go, which help to unlock levels, but there isn’t all that many levels to unlock so after they are unlocked the berries become somewhat pointless.

The story is pretty lame, but I think that just fits in quite well with how the game is supposed to be adorable and cute but so badly made that it’s just like… what?

But yes, all in all it’s quite bad but I’m still recommending and it and I still played through and completed the whole damn thing. No regrets!

TL;DR : Badly made, but play it anyway it’s frustratingly adorable and easy to 100%

Average platformer. Colorful, if dated graphics. Simple concept. Get the berries, get the water drops, complete the stage. Do it 6 times and you win.

For people looking to 100%, plenty of achievement guides (and exploits) to easily get you there.

If its on sale, (currently .74 cents) its a worthy addition to your library.

Woodle Tree Adventures is a quick and casual 100%. The levels are simple and quaint. It's very linear but it's not something you play when you want a challenge. It's more of a pick me up game when you're in between other activities.

The camera needs a lot of work. Most of the time it gives you awkward angles and there's not a whole lot of options to re-adjust it.

Adorable game overall. I recommend it for an hour or two of half-bliss.

This game really surprised me, it was really fun to play the cute little tree. You can beat the game in less than 2 hours, I think maybe that's the attraction of this game. Its a lot of fun for 2 hours, but nothing more. It would be a really great free-2-play title, but I wouldn't recommend to pay money for it.

Game : 6.0/10
Graphic : 5.5/10

100% Achievement : Easy | Medium | Hard | Very Hard
100% Achievement Guide :
1. Complete the first level - As mention as its title (Storyline)
2. Unlock the Yellow Leaf - Collect 200 berries
3. Unlock the Orange Leaf
4. Unlock the White Leaf
5. Beat the Game - As mention as its title (Storyline)
6. Collect 1000 berries * - As mention as its title, the easiest way shown below
7. Collect 3000 berries * - As mention as its title, the easiest way shown below
8. Play with a friend ** - Shown below.

* This requires rebinding the "BackPack360" command to a key. In the launcher, go to "input" tab and find "BackPack360". After that, launch the game. After finishing a level, play it again. However this time press the key that you've assigned. Each time you return the level selection screen you will get the same amount of berries as you collected during your first run.

** In the launcher, go to "input" tab and find "StartPad3602". Once found, assign it the key of your choice. After that, launch the game. Once in the level with your house, simply press the key that you've assigned. If the achievement doesn't pop, simply restart the game.

This game really surprised me. I won a free key in a giveaway and wasn't expecting much of this game, but it was really fun to play the cute little tree.
A big contra: you can beat the game in less than 2 hours, but i think maybe that's the attraction of this game. Its a lot of fun for 2 hours, but nothing more. It would be a really great free-2-play title, but i wouldn't recommend to pay money for it. 7/10

This game does not have any cool, fancy game mechanics or features. It's platforming at it's very basic, and I love it so much.

You play as a cute tree stump named Woodle who are being asked to bring back water to the forest. On each level there are three water drops hidden somewhere on the map, and you need to collect all three of them to complete the level. The only way to defend yourself against the enemies is hitting them with a leaf. You will make them dissapear in one hit, but in one hit they will send you far back in the level.

Woodle carries a bag in which he puts berries into that are scattered around the level, there are so many of them. With the berries you can unlock levels and upgrade your leaf so it becomes better. When you have enough berries you can unlock a cute bandana for Woodle so he looks even cuter.

It's one of my favourite games because of how simple it is to play, and how really cute everything looks. Sometimes you can't tell difference between a good person and an enemy. I like the level designs and the fitting soundtrack. I love the snow level especially. The only negative thing about Woodle Tree Adventures is the camera. It's a mess to control and it often gets stuck behind a block so you can't see where you're going.

It takes around an hour to complete, and it's really enjoyable for that short time. :3

Woodle Tree Adventures is a very bright and mellow game, providing a short but pleasant reprieve from loud, monochrome murderfests. It is a safe, relaxing, no-frills 3D platformer with a gorgeous if slightly saccharine aesthetic. The game can be enjoyed by all ages, but balance the $3 price tag against the short length, limited replay value, and control issues. The jumping puzzles demand precise controls that the game just doesn't have, and the antagonistic, glitchy camera will frustrate young and old alike. Nonetheless, I was pleasantly surprised by this game. It really chilled me out, I fell in love with the visuals, and I had a lot of fun for the less than 2 hours it lasted.

The camera is terrible, but my 2year old likes making the man waddle around. (Not that he understands what is going on)

Very colourful and cute game.

Easy to unlock all levels to reach the ending and get all achievements in the game. No time limit restrictions or challenges, freedom to decide whether to knock out and remove all unfriendly creatures from the level or to simply run past them and an unlimited number of lives and retries to finish each level.

With this game, there isn't much to talk about.

Note my play-time, I didn't quit the game early. That's about how long it's going to take to beat Woodle Tree Adventures. Getting all of the achievements might triple that play-time, but that's entirely because they're a fruit-collecting grind.

Why do I recommend it?
Well, it's very pleasant. WTA is a fine change of pace from sadistic games like Wings of Vi. You don't have to worry about dying horrifically every five seconds just to reach the next checkpoint (where you'll die even more). Your only mission in this game, is to hop around and be at peace.

If you're looking for something with a bit more substance, then look elsewhere. I didn't mind my play-through of WTA. If nothing else it was a well-deserved break from the hell I usually put myself through.

I've had a lot of fun playing this game, I would recomend buying it only if you have young children to play it with.

I play this game with my four year old son. Every level is pretty freeform, I didn't even know if levels could be 'beat' until I took over the main character after my son stopped playing and found out how to finish them, however, for anyone that is no longer a child, you will find this game very easy, and very boring.

I've spent at least four hours so far following my son playing as the co-op beaver character, I can collect the items for my son, defeat enemies but not pan the camera or finish the level.

I got this game through humblebundle.com, if you have children you want to introduce to 3-dimensional platforming games, this is a great start, especially for only 2.99, I highly recommend it in those situations; you will enjoy reminiscing over the glory days of your first adventure games while they are having a blast experiencing it for the first time.

This game is extremely cute and fun to play when you need to relax, or when you just want a decent game to speedrun. The enemies and "combat" in this game are a little funky, and so is the camera angle, but the platforming and graphics make up for it in the most part. This game is only $2.99, so you have nothing to lose. I loved it, and i recommend it.
7.5/10~
