Flatout 2, more adrenaline fueled arcade demolition derby racing ... but with ragdoll physics. You crash and the driver flies uncontrollably through the windshield. Arcade mini-games have you trying to hit targets with the expelled driver or reach higher jumps. Great tongue-in-cheek fun. Prepare to do crazy things to get style points and achievements!

This is arguably the best in the flatout series, It is a bit less expansive then Flatout ultimate Carnage which adds a few extra cars in the starting grid, and drivers as well as a few new/re-worked tracks, but it is my favorite having put well over 200 hours on my PS2 version as well as another 30 on my steam version 11 online 19 in offline mode. If your looking for a destruction racing/derby game with killer Graphics/physics, tons of action, and a killer soundtrack then this is the game for you, when your at the starting line and you hear Wolfmother's "Dimension" start you know it's time to mash the gears and hammer down the accelerator and get wrecking! and remember rubbing is racing, slaming your opponents into the wall that's Flatout!

Flatout 2 is easily my favorite racing game of all time. It focuses on fun and enjoyment rather than wasting time with realism. The physics are funny, the soundtrack is great (if you like semi-modern rock music), The damage engine is good, The graphics aren't too outdated, and best of all, the driving feels great, even on a mouse and keyboard. My one dislike is that the menus have no mouse navigation, which is the only thing that makes me realize that it's a PC port.

I highly reccomend this game to anyone, really. If you're a fan of silly physics, damage engines, and good racing, you will adore this game.

The lack of proper 360 controller support makes this game a fail for me. You have to use the computer keyboard to navigate the menus (a mouse won't do it). I usually have my laptop connected to the TV with the top down. So, a minor gripe becomes a major pain.

I'm new to steam - so I'm still getting to grips with the limitations of older games. As for the game itself. I don't care to be honest - I'll find a more up to date driving game with out of the box controller support that just works.

Yes, I know that this game predates the Xbox 360 controller and that you can configure your 360 controller to act like it would for any other driving game - but having to use the keyboard to get from one menu to the next when you're used to simply pushing a botton on a controller gets really old, really quickly.

Thumbs down from me.

This game is SOOO bad, oh my god. Go buy FlatOut Ultimate Carnage and it's this game, but not with horrible graphics or awful gameplay. Ultimate Carnage also has working multiplayer!

This has got to be one of the best racers I've ever played <3 I only ever originally played the first game and I loved it and only recently decided to give the other games a try. 2 I gotta say has to be not just one of the best racing games I've ever played but one of the best games I've ever played in general, same with the series FlatOut istelf, although 3 is a pile of ♥♥♥♥ by looking at the negativity, so might not play it unless I want a full and fair opinion of it. FlatOut 2 is game where the races never feels too easy like a lot of other racers, and never seems to get boring with it's amount of destruction and intensity it has.

An old classic i played much as a kid. I remember enjoying the game then and i like it even more now. OK graphics even to this day, but i have to say the game is actually really hard. The AI is quite destructive, but it's a lot of fun!
