I cant even get the settler pack to register so a complete waist of my $20 and apparently thye have shifted their funds to a new everquest so i just lost $20 an hour of my life and my hopes for this game dont buy this game until Day"Break" studios gets their sht together. I dont usually post my opinions about a game but this one took my money and didnt even really provide any content i am quite upset and frankly disappointed that a game developement studio would do this to their fans/customers.

Just don't buy this, I got it a long time ago when Sony owned it, and it was good fun when they did constant updates. But with the new Dev they have declaired they will no longer be supporting this game until they finish EQ Next, and at this stage they have given no date for EQ Next.

I think we can safely call this game dead in the water now, there is no way they are going to restart support for a game that they dropped support for. They clearly feel like EQ Next is going to make them more money, and once it comes out, Next will remain there total focus as they want it to run 100% and create lasting content for it.

Sony 100% ♥♥♥♥ed us with this game, there is no doubt about it, it was a dumbed down development tool used so that Sony could get player generated content inside there own MMO and get lazy doing so, fact is Sony Online was always to lazy with its Online entertainment and it killed off multiple MMO titles that had real potential.

At least they sold the property back to the creators of almost every bloody Sony Online game, Technically Daybreak is part of the umbrella of Columbus Nova/ReNova Group. So as far as Development for the new EQ Next game goes, they have great financial backing!

It's alright. A handful of Pay2Win tactics, like buying doors (I dont know whats up with that), but if you like crafting things at almost a graphic artist level, this is a good game to get into. You can mold and shape anything into anything, literally. It'll be f2p eventually but if you drop the 20 on this, you get a 2in1 pick that doubles as an axe, a settlers flag, and a cool outfit.

Aside from the gear, you never know. Sony might try to sneak some s*** in there and make it to where they make anyone who bought into the game prior OP as f*** so...

This game should be taken off Steam. I purchased it a long time ago. No one played then. No one plays now. In June 2015, the developers released a letter stating that they are shifting their resources from this game to EQ Next. I suggest no one purchase this game. It looks like we were all duped into paying for Landmark so that we could fund EQ Next. I will now be supporting anything from them in the future.
