Honestly, not great. I'd suggest getting prison architect instead and playing escape mode, wish I'd bought that game instead.

great game a bit hard but great

next time i go to prison, im definitely trying to knock out a guard with a cup of hot chocolate.

Still waiting on multi-player.

We need multiplayer... otherwise, fun game

The escapists is overall great. It revolves around a lot of strategy (especially if you dont look the escape route up). New players get frustrated with the game because it is confusing, so ill give a couple tips:

1. Sniper guards go home at lights out
2. You can hide contraband in your toilet
3. Think of EVERYTHING.
4. Get crafting notes to learn how to craft things
5. Mess around a bit!

The issue is that Prison Architect is better. But it is easier to escape by simply burning the whole place down in that game, making it boring after a while.

Also check out the workshop for more prisons. Most of them are free and very timeconsuming!

I like this game.

PROS
-Lots of prisons with more being added
-Its fun
-Its tense
-IT takes strategy
-Nice looking art style

CONS
-Gets a little boring after you do it long enough
-Bad tutorial

Overall i recommend getting it if its on SALE!

Create a some clay, Beat up a guard and create a key mold out of a key and clay. Safely return the key back before the guard wakes up, Use the key at night time to bust out of the prison while no one is watching.

- Do you enjoy breaking walls using plastic forks?
- Do you want to beat someone using a soap inside a sock as a weapon?
- Do you want to rob a book from Robert in order to deliver ir to... Robert?
- Do you want to be smart enough to escape thousands of prisons (workshop) but dumb enough to get caught again?
- Have you had enough building prisons in Prison Architect and decided to be a inmate in them?

Well, fear no more, The Escapists delivers all your needs into one simple game: Your goal is to be creative enough to escape prisons the fastest way possible, you can dig tunnels, you can do a revolution or just simply walk out using the keys, you decide! Some perks of this game are the workshop support, dlcs at a decent price, and tons of ways to beat the same maps, great devs and a good community all in all. Recommend buying it, you will have tons of fun (and stress for not getting the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ red key

The Escapists happens to be a very well-built game, but like all games, has it's fair share of flaws.

Pros

Very fun
Gives you an achievement for flooding 30 toilets
Comes with a prison designer (also known as the "Map Editor") so you can make your own levels and send them to the world

Cons

Can become tedious after a while
Your stats deteriorate a bit too quickly
The officers sometimes become suspicious when you're doing nothing wrong whatsoever

Overall, The Escapists is worth playing, and the addition of a mode where you play as an officer would be a very welcome one. After all, it would be fun to learn just what the officers do offscreen.

-Family & Kid Friendly!
-Brain Trainer (Makes you create plans,frienships,learn schedules,etc.)

This game is SUPER FUN! When you know how to play it, it's really fun.

Personally, I got the PC for the editor. I mainly play this game on my Xbox One.

There is 6 basic prisons. Each with twists, a snow one, a one where the guards are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and the one where it's 2.4% impossible. But, there is about 5-6 DLC Maps for money with special mechanics, and a Level Editor and Workshop for infinite levels!

For 6$ (for the sale) or $18, it's a really good game. IF you want a Editor, get the Computer verison. If you have a Xbox One, and don't care about creating levels and you want the 6 levels and DLC, get the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One Edition (Xbox and PlayStation is alot easier.)

It's the best game ever !!! I recommend you to buy this game if you like the story mode life but in this game is a unusual story in this game. Is a story where you need to escape from diferent jails. If you like this type of games i recommend you to watch at Prison Break. This is a very good serial. Escape Team and Duct Tapes are Forever is the best DLC in the world !! Buy this game !
