I am just going to keep this short, for i have only logged around 4 hours into the game as of now, but as soon as i reach around 10 hours i will write a full review.
So, i was browsing youtube one night when i noticed a video on some new indie game "The Escapists." Noticing instantly that this was some sort of prison simulator, of which i am very fond of, i clicked it and instantly loved it. Not having any money at the time i desperatly searched for ways to get this game for the following days, finally while looking through my inventory i noticed a $ 10 CSGO weapon skin and proceded to sell it without hesitation. I purchased the game and quickly downloaded it (Very quickly) and began to play.
I was hooked.
It was something i had wanted for a while but could never find, a prison escape simulator, where all the knowledge i had mustered from watching prison movies came in handy. Shortly after starting i grabbed some plastic spoons and started digging, i hung some sheets over the cell bars to stay concealed, and within a few nights, i had been sent to solitary when the guards discovered my uncovered hole.
I started again.
After an hour of seemingly doing the same thing again and again i still wasn't bored and found new features at every turn.
I love the pixelated graphics, the game gives off a light vibe but it is very hard.
Also the new POW camp prison is awesome and i have put 3 hours into it already.
With the constant updates and the way the devs listen to our ideas this game is definatly worth the money.
I won't give it a rating yet but this game certainly has my attention.
