“There’s a solid foundation to Orbital Gear. The momentum-based aerial acrobatics are fluid, and mastering them is rewarding. The weapons are varied, and it’s interesting how they interact with the game world”

Orbital Gear. I've never played another 2D game to have as much fun as I have with Orbital Gear. The movement system can be a little strange at times, but after a while, it became a key part to this game in terms of my enjoyment. Tie it in with the weapons and a full server, and the game becomes something I want to sink more than a few hours into after I buy it.
Unfortunately, the issue you'll hear most is that there are not enough players, which is sad because this is a great game.

I cannot justify paying full price for this game due to a lack of an online community and solid singleplayer content. However during a sale there is incredible Local multiplayer madness to be had and great fun for you and your other steam friends when hosting an online match. Buy it for you and your friends!

Fun multiplayer madness with great detail to atmosphere awesome soundtrack and fast paced action.
Movement is key and you will run jump and shoot like in the old days of running with 1000mph. Bringing a friend is even better since everything will turn into utter multicolored chaos.

This is definitely a beautiful game with one of the most interesting mechanics I've ever encountered. I came across a game review cite that pointed me towards it, and I think gives an honest and downright useful review on whether or not I should buy it.

I'd recommend you check it out if you're looking for other seldom played games.
