About This Game

The Culling Of The Cows is a side-scrolling shooter / tower defence game. You will take the role of Sammy, a soliloquizing schizophrenic farmer with a self prophesied mission to lay waste to the disease spreading over his farm.

With his dusty old 12 gauge at his side and god at his back, Sammy isn’t going to be taking too kindly to the infectious chaos of the big city’s leaking its way out into wild country. When all the lunacy started Sammy consulted God on what he should do, and the response was. KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!!!!

This was a really fun side game. Reminds me of the flash games but i had fun. I got the game for free so im not complaining. If your an achievement hunter these are easy achievements for you. You also get a couple of hours of fun time.

It's a bit sophmoric, and feels like some free flash game. However it does a decent job of varying the gameplay a bit. It's fairly easy overall and so are the achievements. More bad than good here, but is not without some redeeming qualities.

-TERRIBLE HITBOXES
Watch as your bullets pass straight through their legs.

-ABYSMAL IN GAME CHALLENGES
Can you imagine a game where our hero never got any upgrades? Imagine how boring megaman would've been if you never got a single upgrade. Some might disagree, but IMO why can't you have challenges that let you utilize the game's mechanics/upgrades. It's why time attack is such a popular challenge; Not "beat the level without using X"

-UI
No tooltip info when you click/hover over an available assist, upgrade, or enemy within a given level. That goes for in battle and on the world map.

-NO STORY ARCH
the game trailer does a better job of telling a story

-only 5 achievements
Great for people looking to add a perfect game to their steam collection. But from a consumer standpoint, it lowers overall replayability
