About This Game

Things have gone wild at the Cartown Zoo!

Today's the grand opening of the Cartown Zoo, and there's still so much to do: zoo chow is running low, and all the baby animals are missing. Putt-Putt® and Pep need your child's help to reunite the little ones with their parents before Outback Al can open the gates. Along the way, they'll swing across alligator-infested rivers, play ice hockey with a polar bear, build a bridge out of icebergs, bop with dancing penguins, and enjoy other adventures. This zoo is full of loyal friends and captivating challenges that are sure to run wild through your child's imagination.

  • Take breaks from the action to play games, sing songs, paint Putt-Putt® or learn about the animals you find in the zoo.
  • Click Points reveal hundreds and hundreds of hidden surprises.
  • Use Putt-Putt's® special camera to take picture of your favorite zoo animals and print them out.
  • Out of time? You can save the game and finish it later.

Putt Putt Saves the Zoo is one of the best games in existance, while people might argue that GTA or Elder Scrolls is better, they clearly haven't played Putt Putt.

Pros:
Cheap ($6.99) [2.79 at the time of this review]
Teaches you how to drive
Great dialogue
Intense gameplay featuring the life and death situations of baby animals
A++ voice acting from some of the best in the business
Fun minigames for some side action
Fluid animation
Brilliant storyline
HOT ZIGGITY

Cons:
Bugs (i encountered one animation glitch with the lion cub, which did not affect gameplay)

TL;DR:
A 12/10 game for a cheap price that will make your friends jealous.

The driving physics were different then what I'm used to, but the destructable enviornments were a solid addition.

Also has a very nice and active competitive scene, lots of fun to be had.

Deep emotional experience, embodies the fears of post-911 America through the eyes of emotionless giraffes. The compelling and rich storyline leaves you with many questions:

Where did the penguins get a boombox?

Is Putt-Putt even a car?

Why is Outback Al so useless?

Did Bush do 9/11?

10/10 Would never play again.
