Feels a lot like Super Hexagon.
  • Frantic
  • The same controls (just rotation with 2 buttons)
  • The same league of difficulty (achievements are probably more difficult)
  • Levels are random, but consist of predefined elements
  • Completion based on time
  • Has endless modes
  • Simplistic, interesting graphics
  • Amazing soundtrack
This game, however, has a kind of a practice mode that can be enjoyed by almost everyone. It is slower and has checkpoints.
What saddens me, though, is there are only 2 sets of obstacles. There are some additional game modes that reuse those sets, and other modes that are just random, luck-based and lame.

The most unique and addictive game I've ever played so far!

I love how easy and fun the gameplay is and how the music changes in game. It kinda reminds me Audiosurf, the more you play the more addictive this game will get. Wish there are more soundtracks and would be awesome if you could use your own music in this game. but from me:

10/10 Game :)

This is a great little game with a very simple premise, you rotate a little circle to avoid obstacles. It all sounds nice and straightforward and indeed the first voyage breaks you in gently with simple obstacles to build up your confidence.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED.

By the time you reach the expert voyage you will have worked out 3 things.

1) Digital input requires very precise timing.
2) The developers hate you (I can only assume a traumatic incident in a geometry class).
3) You definitely aren't coming back to beat that high score...at least not for the next half hour.

The game is a lot of fun when you hit the zone but be prepared for frustration along the way.

Similar to Super Hexagon in presentation and gameplay, though a lot easier. I had fun with this, but you would probably get more use out of it if you played it on your mobile phone instead of PC.

Sensitivity kind of ruins the game. I'm using a mouse, not left and right keys on the keyboard, why can't i just rotate my mouse? It's clear the game was designed for a TOUCHPAD PHONE. UGG.

Fun, challenging, made me want to write a review about it!

This is one of those games that are simple, but get difficult, similar to Super Hexagon in a way.
And damn it, it is so fugging challenging, yet totally addictive! It makes it even more amazing since there are multiple gamemodes you can unlock by completing other gamemodes, adding up to hours of fun!
The quirky, chiptun-ish soundtrack is simply AWEZUM!
(This is a rage simulator too. ;P)

Deceptively simple game, but it excels at killing you. Good for some time killing for a bit. I wish that there was a neutral rating on here, as I would give it that. Nothing that stands out, just a fun simple game. Buy it if it's on sale, but not at full price is my advice.

Got this game for free on iOS, loved it. Bought the game on steam to support the devs.
9/10 A great game to kill time.
amazing music
addictive gameplay.
completed the first voyage with just 27 deaths on my first try.
would totally recommed it to a friend.

but it seems a little jittery on PC.

Fun game, similar in style to Super Haxagon, although the gameplay is a bit different. If you enjoy games like Super hexagon, I'd recommend this to you.

Pivvot. Super Hexagon with circles.
Enough said.

WRONG! Pivvot is a fun crossover of some of the games I have been playing, like Soundodger+ and Super hexagon. 8 modes, all are so much fun! (Except Berserk ) I now have another challenge!

✓ You need only left + right buttons
✓ Multiple procedurally generated levels
✓ Different stages in a level
✓ Nice bright colors
✓ Awesome soundtrack

Sounds familiar, huh? Now even better:

✓ Multiple endless modes
✓ LOCAL CO-OP for every mode
✓ Death counter

TL;DR Super Hexagon with local co-op and more awesome stuff.

Pivvot is a fantastic strategic avoidance game in the likes of Super Hexagon or Boson-X.

It's easy to get sucked into the fantastic music and smooth gameplay, as you spin and dodge various obstacles. It also holds numerous ways of playing it, so it's balanced for all levels of expertise. It's one of those games that you'll be spending hours upong hours playing, without noticing so much time has passed.

I wrote a review on the mobile version a while ago (http://www.80pgaming.com/content/2013/10/30/pivvot-review) and this version is even better with the addition of Looper mode, the Random Endless modes and local multiplayer. It's accessible, difficult to master and an all-around good time. I recommend getting the soundtrack too; the music is absolutely amazing.

Buy a copy, get your friends to buy copies, then try to beat their scores. Good times had by all.

+ Easy to learn, difficult to master
+ Good graphics
+ Checkpoints
+ Plenty of ways to keep you on your toes

- How long before it becomes boring, repetitive or frustrating?
- Besides skills you also need luck because the objects appear in random order
- Camera can be confusing/disorienting

[Rating: 73/100]
