About This Game

Welcome, bold adventurer! Card Hunter is an online collectible card game which blends together card play, deck building, tactical combat and fantasy role-playing in a way you've never seen before. Grab your cards, miniatures, dice and snacks, then journey to a new world of adventure on the tabletop of your Game Master, Gary.

Build your party and set forth on a grand adventure in the massive single-player campaign. Each adventure will challenge your deck-building skills and tactical prowess as you battle horrifying Black Oozes, savage War Monkeys and more.

Amass a collection of fantastical swords, shields and other adventuring gear. In Card Hunter's unique deck building system, equipping your party with these items builds your deck for you.

Enter the fray on a grid based battlefield. Prepare for turn-based strategy where you must play your cards right to defeat your foes and be rewarded with experience and loot.

When you’re ready, challenge other players in casual games, ranked matches or regularly scheduled leagues. Can you rise to the top of this month’s season? Can you and your undead minions triumph in the Graveyard Gambol league? Multiplayer Card Hunter is a never-ending challenge.

Don't want to face the monsters alone? Adventure co-operatively with one or two friends and share the dangers of Cardhuntria as well as the rewards.

When you're done with the huge core campaign, try out the adventures of Omin, Binwin and Jim from Acquisitions Incorporated with an exclusive story written by Penny Arcade's Jerry Holkins. Then get ready for when robots and insane computers invade in the all new Expedition to the Sky Citadel set. Or, if you prefer your monsters from the murky mists of time, brave the challenge of prehistoric monsters and intelligent weapons in the fiendish Attack of the Artifacts.

Free and fun game but gets boring after a while when all your enemies are becoming ranged. Good game.

A great free to play D&D style card game that is excellent in mechanics and variety. You can spend hours mastering the strategy yet still once in a while get bad luck and get screwed. It can be both single player and Co-op with some online multiplayer and tournaments. The multiplayer can be hard with play-to-win players getting the advantage, but with some grinding and RNG, everyone can win! Also there are lasers.

Graphics 8/10
Mechanics 9/10
Story 7/10
Voice Acting 1/10
Free-to-play 8/10
Pay-to-win 10/10
Magic 20/10
Lasers 100/10

A turn based strategic card game, with some RPG elements. This game is not for everyone, people with a bit of patience and love for strategy games will enjoy this.

The concept of the game is simple, you have three races to choose from, with each race having it's advantages and disadvantages. Then you have three types of heroes for each race. Mage, Warrior and Healer. You get a set of cards for each of them and as you progress you get better cards. At the start of the round you are given random cards from you deck, that you can play out on the board.

The campaign keeps you entertained, you can complete the story, but you can't complete the game 100 percent unless you are willing to spend money. Online multiplayer is pretty smooth and keeps you entertained with competitive matchmaking and rare item drops.

Give this game a try once.

===If you're really stuck on wanting to be the best PvP or even PvE ultimate player with all the rare gear &c, then this is just another grind / money sink.=== This game, however, has PvP leagues that use premade parties, and has some PvE. If you're all right with not having loads of rare loot (which you don't *need* for *some* game modes, you can do without especially for PvE and some preconstructed PvP) then this game is one worth looking at.

Great game for a free option! I'm new to D&D type games so it took me a bit to get into it, but it's suprisingly addictive. It's easy to learn and there are a few downfalls to the novice out there.

PLUS:
- Free
- Lots of items and frequently win rare/epic items in chests.

CONS:
- I sometimes feel like I'm always playing above my skill level. Some levels can be incredibly frustrating.
- In order to have success, you have to rebuild your deck for each campaign/battle. Luckily the game will provide you with "hints" if you lose a battle.

Overall, it has kept my attention for 10 hours so far and I'm not out anything other than time.

Easy "recommend." The most amazing thing about this game is that there aren't more people playing it.
