This game should be called Walden and the Wigglewolf. Highly recommended if you like very loud noises, laugh-inducing animations and some of the most unintentionally funny pop-scares ever dreamt up by human design.

This game's terrible. Gameplay is very basic and boring. "Horror" just means dumb jumpscares.

The most shitiest i've ever seen.
I dont understand a thing in this god damn game, its... i just cant describe it with words.
In this game everything is WRONG, there is no player animation at all! Your character is ALWAYS in T-pose, there is no animation of you reloading, its just floating fu**ing rifle! Dont buy this game, its terrible, its ever worse then game that was made by my friend! Even if you will get this game for free, dont play it, just run it for cards, mute it and dont even look at it!

Overcast - Walden and the Werewolf is about as basic a action/survival/horror game as they come. Yet it's not completely atrocious. But then again it's not completely good either.

Ever felt like a hunter getting hunted.Want to know what it feels like and if youre into gaming and want to spend less, this is your game. There are nine levels of horror in this game, that tells you the story of Walden and a werewolf.faint of heart may back out now and save themselves the trouble.

You start off as Walden a hunter and through the levels descend into what is an almost lonely desolate chaotic World ravaged by a werewolf. There are nine levels of hell as it were.Which takes hardly a couple of hours to complete. There are a couple of keys which control the entire game play. You use a shotgun which you get in the first chapter.

You are going to recieve a few scares as you go through the levels, that is going to send you right at the edge of your sit.Till the final level you just scour the landscape searching for the monster.

In the final level you are finally face to face with the monster and owing to shotguns capability of firing only one bullet per reload you are gripped with fear. But the music generally gives hope under the circumstances.

Overall its a 6/10 atmospheric thriller, with some poor graphics,a few reported bugs here and there a classy music and a basic FPS storyline.

Very amateurish with bad atmosphere and jump scares only. A 12 year old's idea of scary.

RIP Headphone users.

- One hour long campaign.
- Terrible models.
- Terrible animations.
- Glitches everywhere.
- Pretty much no plot.
- One jump scare every 5 minutes.
- The screen is blurred during 40% of the game.
+ I got it for free.
+ The last boss battle is so loud and has so many screen effects that it looks like one of those MLG montages.
- I hate those montages.

People say this game sucks...and they are right, more-less.
Visuals are average and too much blurry (even for a horror game), gameplay is lousy, music is so-so (ain't bad, but it ain't appropriate for this game) and story is extremely lame and boring. The game is too short. But, it can be depressive and scary sometimes.

But, unlike some other indie FPS games that were made in some "make-your-own-fps-in-5-minutes-or-less-game-creator", I get the feeling that these two guys that made this game (if I am correct) actually tried their best. And for that, I give them thumbs up.

Plus, it's a cheap game.

Wow. Easily a top 5 worst game I own. Probably the worst one I've actually completed. Terrible Amnesia mod looking graphics, an idiotic story, and amusingly bad writing = this game is the cr@p fest total package. Cherry on top - the dev banned me on the forums within minutes of posting about how bad the game is. Such garbage I'm half tempted to give this a thumbs up instead.

Overcast : Walden and the Werewolf is a Western Survival Horror game.
You are Walden, an old hunter who lives alone in the woods, without any connection with the society, making nature his only form of livelihood. Walden began to be haunted by a mysterious creature that destroyed the village located near his cabin, killing every person residing on the premises. Now, Walden wants revenge.
Overcast is played in the first person, with your left hand perpetually holding a lantern and your right holding your useless weapon. Throughout the games nine chapters, which takes around 1 hour to finish, you guide Walden around as he solves extremely easy puzzles and shoots werewolves and other evil creatures. The game controls work well enough, with the exception of climbing ladders.
The graphics are extremely poor, besides of the annoying film grain that is overlaying the screen and impossible to turn off.
There is no voice acting, the story is told by the use of text phrases.
The only noteworthy aspect of this game, would be the music. The soundtrack is well done and serve as a nice background.
Overcast : Walden and the Werewolf is no horror game at all, it is an extremely poor game in nearly every sense. Unoriginal concepts, poor graphics and most importantly the game play is just no fun at all.
It is a waste of time and of money. My advice: Hands away!

Sounds 5/10
Graphics 2/10
Gameplay 2/10
Atmosphere 1/10

A really amateurish effort that feels like a poorly made mod. The game starts out as a mediocre atmospheric horror game and devolves into a horrid FPS. It feels like the devs were running out of ideas or weren't really sure where to go after the fourth level. Don't waste your time or money on this one.
