i can't read half of what's in this monstrosity. it's supposed to be about quickly identifying numbers and i can't read the most important ones because the developer is apparently a man stuck in the year 1997 designing angelfire websites with illegible fonts and interface elements that he thinks he looks stylish

Game sucks. Bad music. Bad choice of lettering and poorly filled in letters and numbers to boot. Crappy background. Plot is unintelligable at the start and good luck getting to any more of it.

So the over all feel of the game is. Anoyed by music, squinting at numbers you can't quite see; all while the game quickly pressures you out of time. It's the opposite of fun.

I was hoping for a math-related puzzle game.

I got an extremely fast-paced arithmetic exercise that would not have been out of place in my second-grade math class. While I suppose this does technically fit the above criteria, it was certainly not what I was looking for.

This is one of the most frustrating puzzle games I have ever played. The numbers you need to select to sum up to reach a given amount move so fast that, even on easy, you'll find some hell of a challenge.

For 90% off, it was not a big deal, as the game has cards that, once sold, pratically paid the game. I had to turn off the in-game music after a couple of seconds (very annoying), and got tired of it fast, so I uninstalled it after getting the 3 cards. Buy only if you want a real challenge, don't mind the lack of polish, and don't expect a lot.

This game is interesting in a puzzle sense, but it is not remotely aesthetically pleasing or even polished. A better version of this game could be programmed in your browser, look better, and not cost any money.
You click cards to total to a predefined sum, gaining points by reaching that sum and not going over. It is not uncommon, however, for the game simply to not give you that card you need to reach the sum. For example, if the sum is 10, and you currently have 9 points, there will be no 1-point cards.

It's a neat concept for a game, but you're better off buying pretty much any other puzzle game. If you're going to spend money on a Steam puzzler, get one with decent graphics that doesn't look like it was made in some high school intro-to-programming class.

I really like this game! It has a lot of negative reviews because I think people coudn't beat the game. It requires you to think and uses simplistic math and logic in your choices while working against the clock. It takes more than a couple times through the sequence to get the hang of it. It has 14 unlocks and 3 different modes of play. I unlocked normal mode so far and only have 2 unlocks so far and haven't unlocked the story mode. It's on steam sale right now for 29 cents and has trading cards! See if you can beat it!

Click numbers that add up to a target sum before the steam rises too high. That is the extent of Pressured.

It's a little unsettling to see posts about a making a sequel that showcases basic functionality a player would expect in the original game. I'm sick of seeing developers use the shotgun approach to game development, selling proof of concepts and ideas instead of putting actual effort turning those concepts and ideas into quality games.

It doesn't lie about what the game is about, but I wouldn't recommend it at all. You essentially click the numbers and add them up to another number within a time limit.

I'd rather play with a calculater.

This game definitely apppeals to the mathematician in me, and while I have said I recommend this game, I only do so to those who have: a logical mind, a mathematical mind, a person who enjoys puzzles or a person who wants to improve any of the previous points.

Pressured is a clever little indie puzzle game by Paul Marrable. I really like it, even though it makes me feel like an idiot sometimes [most the time], especially when the pressure meter starts shaking and I start panic-clicking and failing. (DONT PANIC)

The base concept is actually pretty neat. There are "TV" Screens you need to click on that have numbers on them. Each level has a randomly generated target number that you need to get to a certain number of times (Let's say the number is 10). You can do 4+6, 9+1, 5+4+1, etc. But be careful, the screens rotate pretty quick, and the more clicks you take, the more points it takes away from you in the end. The higher the level is, the higher the number is, and the less time you have (or the more time I spend thinking, I'm not sure).

A couple tips-
*Read the tips at the bottom of the main screen. I didn't, jumped right into the gameplay and immediately failed. Like, read the tutorial.
*Speaking of, The tutorial is immensely helpful. And even so, you still may take a few tries before you get the hang of it.
*A few levels into easy, and you'll unlock normal.
*If your score is misbehaving and you need to reset it, you can click a bomb. I've noticed that this likes to push all the TV panels to lower numbers too.
*The unlocks are meant to be read in order, but are not unlocked in order.
*I find for the first level if the sum is greater than 10 it always seems to be a bit more of a struggle, and makes the ensuing levels a little more difficult. If it is 10 or less that first level is a breeze.
*If you find yourself still struggling, head back to easy for practice, the timer is more forgiving, but the TV screens seem to go the same rate.
*The longer you play, the more number associations you make, and the better you get.

I think the poetry unlocks that create a story are a nice addition, and give you something to strive for instead of just a high score. It makes Pressured more than 'just a puzzle game'. I think it's quirky, and has unique qualities that make it stand out. I recommend Pressured and say it is worth the price point, on sale or not. Also, that song will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day...week...year... ><

As someone who is not very quick on their feet with the maths, you'd think I would hate an experience like this - but that is absolutely not the case. The music, the art, and the general vibe all come together to form something very special (and the unlocks are just the icing on an already very tasty cake).

Something interesting developed as I played - I got to see what sort of numbers, or sums, I was more mentally inclined to "solve", and which ones I tended to have a harder time with. It's a rare treat that you get to play a game that shows you exactly how your brain is wired in certain ways. So, you could also look at this as a chance to improve something mentally - to raise your own average by tackling something you might not be so good at - and that is AWESOME.

This game is a steal for the price of a coffee drink, and unlike said beverage, you get to keep this forever and ever!

Took a punt on this because it was cheap and looked interesting.

Glad I did, really fun little game.
Really simple premise but really damn addictive!

I think it's well worth the meagre price tag.

Pressured is some sort of math game in which you have to click numbers on screens which change rapidly, if that makes any sense. So if your goal is 13 you have to press the screen with 5 and then maybe a 7 and then a screen with 1. Some screens carry bombs or x2.... you get the picture, I hope. I suppose the game is good for people who like to become fast in math but for a game I think the idea is a bit too simple.

This is a fantastic little game and proves to be WAY bigger in depth and challange than the meager price would suggest! Don't let the prospect of a number puzzler scare you away, this game is fun to play and incredibly accessible - even to math-deficient types like me! The incremental difficulty and poetry unlocks create an intense but rewarding experience. The inclusion of Steam trading cards is icing on this very affordable cake. Highly recommended!

Pressured is a deliciously addictive mathematical puzzle game. The premise is simple - add the numbers on the grid together to match the target number. Easy enough at first but you have to be quick because the numbers you need fade in and out, bombs appear instead of numbers and you are not allowed to use the same sums twice, all the while the clock is ticking! What makes Pressured so addictive though is the arithmetic required is pretty basic but the targets get larger and larger and larger, which means you'll need more and more numbers in your sums then throw some multipliers in... it'll test your limits! It's a killer combination of fast reflexes, quick thinking and of course a bit of luck that'll keep you coming back for more. Move over Sudoku, there is a new kid on the block!
