a beautiful, absorbing experience… brilliant to look at… the best videogame music I've heard… will make you forget your cares and immerse you in the game… you'll find yourself returning for the experience. 8.5! Editor’s Choice Award.

wonderful gameplay… beautifully polished and tantalizingly atmospheric… Osmos mixes puzzle, action and strategy remarkably and all the while does it with great finesse and style.

beyond doubt, a work of genius... a relaxing, meditative experience about going with the flow... It all adds up to something otherworldly and just . . . incredible.

Wonderful game.

Elegant in its simplicity. A 2D physics engine incorporating momentum and gravity.

3 styles of play:
1) with orbits around centre(s) of gravity (whose strength depend on their mass, to which you can add or remove)
2) without orbits or gravity
3) with vicious A.I. out to consume you or other A.I.

Immersive in its ambience. Hypnotic trance inducing soundtrack. Beautiful visuals.

Highly recommended!

It is NOT an "artsy meditation game", as say those who played only tutorial levels. Far from it. Grab tranquilizers and try to beat it, it's too challenging.

My friend recommended this game because "it's relaxing." What a blatant lie that turned out to be. This is the single most palm-sweat inducing game I've played. It's easy yet challenging and the soundtrack is good. I ended up buying this game on my tablet too.

8/10

Osmose is a fine game, and quite atractive looking. I like the pseudo-biological look of it. But I didn't really take to it on PC. Played with a mouse it seemed awkward.

More recently I finally got a tablet and tried out my Android version. It feels very natural in that format, and I've played it there much more than I did here. So my advice would be to play this game on something with a touchscreen--I think that's what's intended. At any rate, I found that a much better experience.
