I am really, really surprised how Developers of Warface manage to get the game worse every time I log in (almost in all aspects...).

Just a few of them - lags are getting worse, entering game as well and gameplay getting stupidly bad, same maps... What is really the worst part is that you clearly feel WF forcing you to buy stuff,,,, And that is the reason why I am not going to do that ;).

There is a lot of good and bads about this game. The game is fun when theres no hackers or no lags (which is very very rare to happen).

It's a shame because Warface has a lot of potential to be great...

Coordinate with teammates to win; "bruhwichbuttonshootsg♥♥♥♥this♥♥♥♥hacker!ASD@!WDA@!" Strategically place yourself to line enemies up in a chokepoint; nevermind the map is smaller than a 7/11 bathroom so no chokepoints. Play normally; given a fantastic stock airsoft gun. Upgrade your gear: an iphone without a case lasts longer than the guns without a premium account. Pay to Play: Someone else has a bigger wallet. Throw Grenade: all 15 players also discover this amazing ability, lags and messes up your game. Run around blindly: dead. Snipe: dead. Move with caution: dead. Flank: dead. Go prone: dead. Slide around the map on your ♥♥♥ shooting blindly: +10 kills. Uninstall the game: Victory

I have a mixed opinion about the game. While it can be a fun enough game, there's a fair amount of cons that ruin the fun. I do and don't recommend this game, and here's why :

Pros :
-Guns don't completely overpower one another
-The game keeps you going by having to unlock things
-Most Co-Op missions are swapped out daily
-Fair amount of upgrades for your character
-Co-Op requires a good amount of teamwork
*This also means that the team has to consist of at least 3 of the 4 classes with a team of 3^, if you want to be successful
-Easy-to-use controls
-Actions are easy to do and are beneficial

Cons :
-Co-Op isn't that great, gets boring after the first few co-op missions
*The game requires players to play Co-Op to unlock some new gear
-Most weapons require real money to keep permanently, instead of 1, 7, or 30 days
-PvP isn't very fun after a while due to various reasons:
*People dropshot too often
*Spawn camping is insane
*Medics serve little purpose in PvP since you can respawn right after death
*Maps are incredibly small, disabling a need for any tactical play
*Snipers are rendered useless on almost every map, due to the small map size
-Co-Op gets to be a bit repetitive
-Great weapons are cheap, allowing new players to get an amazing weapon
*This is both a pro and a con, but listed under con because it takes away some of the purpose of Co-Op
-Medic is used more for close quarters rather than reviving teammates
*The medics are equipped with a shotgun, while other classes aren't

Overall, I would recommend this game to anybody who's played Fps's (First-Person-Shooters) such as CoD when it was good (Before MW3 in my opinion), Battlefield, and Rainbow Six. Don't expect the game to be amazing, for me it's more a game to play when I'm bored with nothing else to do.

Pay to win... 5/10

Description

Holy fu ♥♥♥♥ what a pay to win game, the engine is good, the gameplay is good the level design and ki is good but all this is destroyed by this ♥♥♥♥ing pay to win shop. Better we pay one time at the beginning and not to use a Weapon permanent... no comment.

Edit01 info from "Northern Elephant Seal":
what the hell are you smoking? You can buy almost all of the weapons permanently if you level up.

Edit02 Additional info from me.:
Certainly need to make money and I would be willing to pay something. It's a great game and I have enjoyed playing it up to the date where the total hyped overlevled noobs destroyed all the game flow. I like games where a high level defines a good player and not a paying noob.

Good Stuff
  • Free to pay
  • Nice shooter feeling
  • Good leveldesign
  • Cry engine

Bad Stuff
  • Pay to win
  • Pay for Permanent weapons Edit01: not all
  • Pay for restoration Coins
  • Pay for skins Edit02: not important. thx to sporebubu
  • Pay for VIP exp boost

I thought you died to much in COD, but this game takes it to a next level where you can't even step foot out of your spawn without dying.

Rank: 7/10
Recommendation(s): Play some other free FPS games before, have a reasonable setup.
Major Theme: One of the better spins on Asian free 2 play FPS games.
Bought at Price: $0 - F2P

I think I've played, if not seen every free 2 play FPS title out there. Some I've come to like more than others. Warface is in that category for sure.

So what makes this title stand out of the crowd you ask? For starters, it's built off the trusted CryEngine. Other major F2P titles are on outdated engines. Take for instance Combat Arms and Crossfire. The benefit of having a better engine is that it looks better, feels more responsive, and is less prone to abuse. Common "glitching" isn't to be found in this title due to having a engine that works so much better.

Gameplay because of the engine is also better. Player vs. Player maps feel more rich and detailed to a higher degree, and COOP play feels better and more dynamic. The interesting thing about COOP is that you can earn "Crown" points by completing the challenges given to you (beat the level in a certain time, etc.). These points can be used to buy limited time upgrades. That being said, AI needs work still in COOP.

Downside is certainly GFace account system. This game does not directly interface with Steam, and thus requires you to remember details for a useless account.

The silly weapon rental system found in other games is also here, along with in-game currency. There's this odd weapons/item progression system I still don't get. You can select one of 3 different areas to focus your XP gains in, and unlock items/weapons from that area.

If you want to spend a few hours here and there on a casual FPS, this is the place to go. Warface is certainly more worthwhile than Combat Arms and Crossfire – the two major competitors to this title.

I recommend this game cause I enjoy it. If you are just skipping through the list of games looking for something to play here is a very short review.

Recommended: If you prefer Co-Op over PvP go ahead, You can get new gear and weapons by just doing all the training, but it comes with repairing them after awhile, which costs some money (tip: repair your equipment after every mission, saves alot of money) If you have 4 or less other friends and you want to play co-op in a game that is easy to get into, this is a great one. If you don't have friends but you want to play co-op it is still fun.

Not Recommended: If you want a pvp fps, this isn't for you. It is still fun but many long time players can 360 no-scope you easily or just know every place in the map, if you can handle being beaten down at first but then slowly rise up the ranks, MAYBE you will enjoy it. But its not a great PvP game, you can get spawncamped easily and kind of p2w.

Summary: Play the game if you have 4 or less friends and you want co-op more than pvp, if you want pvp I say there are some better ones out there, but it doesn't hurt to give a try.
