Final Slam 2 is, to put it quite frankly, an abomination of a game. It falls below poorly designed shovelware into something that feels like an insult to other games in the genre. As a fighting game it fails on a fundamental level with a horribly shallow pool of moves, awful controls (which includes a complete lack of gamepad support), and broken systems that make fights feel entirely reliant on luck. Every aspect of the game, from the tutorial to simply the menu navigation, manages to be far more convoluted and confusing than it should ever be, making something as simple as changing the screen resolution unintuitive.

The art design has the dubious honor of being possibly the worst of any retail game I've yet seen, with horrendous character designs, blurry textures, an inadmissible lack of detail in every scene, and horrendous animations that can hardly be called as such. It's like MS Paint got exceedingly drunk, and this is the aftermath that it threw up the next morning. The over the top and misogynistic dialog from the story mode is just the last nail in a terribly constructed coffin.

If it was possibly to revoke my copy of Final Slam 2, I'd gladly take the chance to never have to glance at it again in my library. It's one of the worst games I've had the displeasure of playing on Steam, and I shudder to think that people are actually paying for something that would compare unfavorably to the average flash game. Please, for your own protection, do not partake in playing this game, it will give you nothing back and devour any last hope that there is still some quality control on this platform.

A sad crappy flash thing that flew over to Steam.
It's terrible. I've seen free flash games better than this.

The only value it might have is steam cards, but even then I'd recommend getting the cards without this crapware attached to it.

i got this game for free so i wont complain much. But i wouldn't pay for this game. The game has 4 steam card drops which is why i played this game in the first place. I beat the story mode and it was very easy with my ultra mega perfect tactic. Push the enemy to the end of the screen, get down, and use your kick, nobody can beat you if you do it properly. So the game wasn't much of a challange.

If I had a gun, with two bullets, and I was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden and Final Slam 2, I would shoot Final Slam 2 twice.

If a game is being greenlit or gived away by the help of 'Who's Gaming Now?!', always expect that the game is crap :)

Let's see: No controller support for a fighter game, some animations run on a literal frame per second, every mode is just a button mash to victory, drawn by a child and so wooden it feels like smacking Pinocchio around. No idea why anyone would pick this mess over any functional fighter. Creating your own piece of failure? I guess that's a whole new level of dedication. I wouldn't.

FREE GAMES=FREE TRADING CARDS=FREE MONEY

ALL HAIL FREE MAGIC MONEY!

You see...terrible games liek this do serve a purpose for us. It gives us free money to buy real games. So no matter how many of them clutter up Steam, as long as you got it for FREE, the developers did you a favor just by making trading cards for it.

It wouldn't be worth playing if it was a free flash game and they actually have the audacity to charge for this so... yeah, don't.

I got it in a bundle myself. At least it gives out cards but as a game it's worthless.

Never mind the graphics... No other PC fighting game seem to be able to let me create fighters in such detail.

Ok,so,this game had potential when I saw some pictures and the opening cinematic but it is s a very very very bad game.Don't waste your time with it.Farm the cards and be on your way.

The controls seem unresponsive, you have only 3 attack moves which is boring as hell and the graphics either glitch every 2 seconds or they are intended to do that.

The menu and the UI are ugly and not appealing at all.So basically I have nothing good to say about the game.

Don't.touch.this.game.

This game is like a lower-quality version of the very first Mortal Combat ever, which wasn't exactly a prime fighting game itself. The combat is incredibly rudimentary, there is a samey quality to the characters, jump-kicking hurls you about 75% across the screen, and the special attacks do stupidly insane amounts of damage for just charging up an energy blast for a second.

Honestly, this is the kind of game that looks like a fan game put together in Flash by somebody who likes video games, but not necessarily somebody who knows how to make them. Nothing about the game is very... professional. I understand it's "indie", but many indie games have a quality about them that really shows you that the developer(s) knew what he/she/they were doing. This game does not.

This game is playable on Newgrounds for free, so if you're buying it here on Steam just to get 4/8 of the trading cards, you'd be better off just buying the cards from the marketplace because you will save money that way (you don't have to own a game to craft a badge). It's just not an interesting game at all. Even if you wanted it for the story mode, which I don't know why you'd want a fighting game for a story mode... but if you did, this game's story is really lame too. I hate to say "why play ___ when you can play ___" because comparing two games isn't always good practice in reviewing, but in this game's case, I just wouldn't play it over any other fighting game for any unique reason of its own. It has no draw to me.

This game is AWFUL! Thank God I got it for free.

Mechanics are ♥♥♥♥, awful controls, no controller support, awful visuals, bad video settings, worst animations you'll ever see and it's not even optimized properly. The piece of crap runs at 20 FPS ffs!

The only reason I have some playtime in this is because I want those trading cards, that's it.

DO NOT GET THIS! EVER!

It is a flash game lazily ported to Steam. Heck, you can even still play the flash version online and it has the same amount of content.

I've got it for free, and I regret that I have such a thing plaguing my library.

Only good thing about this is the trading cards.
