Varför Early Access?

“Jumpdrive is a game with a massive scope, we want the chance to develop the game organically, so that the players can be a part of shaping the direction it takes and understanding the process of getting there. With Early Access we’re able to get all of that feedback and help while we work.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Our planned release date is the end of 2015.”

“We’re planning to continue to improve the graphical capabilities of the engine, as well as implementing a massive expansion of the AI system to create a more realistic and lifelike gameworld. We’ll also be adding much more late game content such as specialised player professions.”

“Most of the gameplay fundamentals are in place, as is the structure of the universe itself. Players are already able to get out and start exploring the universe and building their fortune. On the incomplete side the AI is still rudimentary and there are plenty of bugs still present.”

“The price of the game will be raised incrementally with each major update leading up to the full release.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We have an active community on our Steam forum and Reddit and we try to focus our development priorities on the features that our players are most interested in. The more feedback we can get from players the better the final game we’re able to release will be.”

A belated list detailing the features in our latest update from earlier this year;

-new physics system integrated
-manual transit spaceflight mode now uses multi-gear shift system
-HUD msg log improvements
-return of an improvements to auto pilot
-lots of improvements to ships, cockpits and city models
-HUD visual speed indicator
-HUD jump countdown timer improved
-Improvements to ship paint system

We've also been working on another update that will be coming in the next month, so keep an eye out!
