“Technically the ‘main feature’ in the Thinking with Time Machine mod is a time machine ..., which is great and all but look, LEGS.”

Very unique (directed towards time machine aspect). The textures are great and very futuristic, yet, does not cause lag on slower Computers. I run this on my asus transformer book (windows tablet) and I have it on medium graphics and I have no lag whatsoever. One thing that makes zero sense is how the levels are upward. You have already gone extremely far up, and, as seen in portal 1 the ground is not that far above glados's lair. It would have made more logical sense to go down instead of up. But what the heck, its a great game overal when you look past ones scientific, philisophical, and OSD, along with the fact of realizing portal already lacks legitness to it, with a portal gun and time machine, as well as a sycopath ai (wheatly), and a murderous and mentaly unstable ai (Glados), LOL.

If Valve made games with the number (CENSORED), then this would be the (CENSORED) game in the series.

Thinking with Time Machine is a Portal 2 mod that includes 4 tutorial chambers and 9 test chambers (actually there're 8 test chambers because you don't really have to do anything on the last one).

It introduces a very interesting device, the Time Machine, which allows you to record and replay your movements, meaning that there may be two of you at the same time. That brings new possibilities and you actually have to change your way to think when trying to solve the puzzles.

The game is kinda buggy sometimes but overall I found it really fun to play and certainly challenging - some test chambers aren't exactly straightforward. In addition, this mod is available for free (it only requires you to own Portal 2) so I highly recommend to give it a try.

Thinking With Time Machine what can I say about this mod. This is a very well polished mod from what I have seen and has obviously it is popular otherwise it would not have been released stand-alone.

The story is very minimal basically at the beginning of the game you are treated by the ending cutscene of Portal 2 and then you find out you have been tricked and find out the cornfield is actually a lot of monitors put together to make you think you escaped when really you didn't which is a nice plot twist for the ending of Portal 2 after that yu are going through chambers and find GLADOS supposedly dead and Atlus and P-Body are talking about how Chell is doing the time machine course and that is basically where the story ends.

However the mod brings a very interesting and new mechanic to Portal the time machine where you create another Chell and use that other Chell to complete the chambers that look like they can only be done in Co-Op other than the gameplay and most easy chambers and some very difficult Thinking With Time Machine is a very polished refined mod for Portal 2 with interesting new mechanics to add to your experience.

If you wanted more after Portal 2 this is a good place to start besides its free and you don't need Portal 2 to run it so download it its really fun. Although its short this is a free 2 hours of entertainment for one night or evening.

This game is boring... it is essentially a single player version of co-op Portal. but since you have no friend to help you, you play as player 1 while recording, and then as player 2 as the ghost of player 1 replays.

Though a short game I am fassicated in this new mechanic. You really have to think outside the box and completely change the portal thinking. It is all timed based too, so make sure you count the seconds in your head as if you were going to do this in the future and the past. Highly recomended to play for 2 hours. 9/10
