I couldn't proverbially put it down once I got into it. This simple as hell game sucks you right in with its army-building and weapon upgrading and hero developing and such. Shiny. The gameworld unravels like a scroll and the object is to go right. How simple is that? Go right! No jumping, no hidden switches, no false walls, no rule of three--none of it. Just dumb fun. But seriously. Try it. It's on sale.

Braveland in short, is a strategy, turn-based game.

Fans of Heroes-Of-Might-&-Magic series will find familiarity in this game.

Think of it as a mini version, with cartoonish graphics, linear plot, slightly witty dialogue and casual gameplay.

Battles can be challenging at higher difficulties, as you have to rack your brains a bit every now and then.

Its a bit short though, and replayability value is pretty low, unless you're planning to get all the achievements.

I do hope there was more customisation and split decisions along the plot, but then again, for the low price, I would say you can't expect much.

Nevertheless, still a decent casual game, I would say 6.5/10

Braveland is a strategy, turn-by-turn RPG game, with alot of ressemblence to the Heroes of Might & Magic series style of combat. You can cast global spells via your rage, you can recruit units in towns, you can fight obviously and you can cast spells via your heroes. You also have advanced commands like wait and defend, etc...

The gameplay is good! The hard mode is quite challenging and I think it can only be done only with alot of strategic thoughts and taking care while spending your gold. The music is good, but it's extremely repetitive. The graphics are O.K and the animations are fairly good.

The game only takes around 4 hours to beat in hard mode with 100% achievements completed. Then again, it's only $5 USD so it's pretty fair! By the way, this game is an iOS port but I did not noitice at all while playing, good job to the devs!

The story was pretty mediocre in my opinion, not enough dialogues and a really standard story. I think the reason i've liked the game is because it really remembers me of my early gaming in strategy games.

I will recommend this game to anybody who hasn't played a strategy turn-by-turn game since a few years, but honestly this is far from being my favorite game, it's just a fun little game that doesn't take long to complete and is pretty enjoyable.

I enjoy the turn based hero controls creatures strategy games. Have played the varying King's Bounty games to the tune of hundreds of hours amongst others. This is an introductory game to the genre. It's still fun but very short; 3-4 hours to 'win'. For people who've played the genre you'll find it too easy and very linear. I bought it for a couple of bucks knowing it was introductory and it'd likely be easy. I was somewhat hopeful it may offer something unique. It didn't. Overall it was OK. For people looking to see if they'll like this type of game, definitely a good intro to the genre.

+ Interprétation simplifiée de la formule Heroes of Might & Magic

Very light version of HoM&M. Short and simple but quite entertaining.
Get it now during the sales or at Groupees (Be Mine 15).

Felt somewhat simplistic, on a first "blind" try, but I enjoyed it. Nothing too crazy - feels very much like a tablet game ported over, at least at the beginning.

This is a fun game, but it doesn't have a lot of depth. It's baby's first Heroes of Might and Magic. 7 hours for me to beat the whole thing and fiddle around in the survival mode. There's maybe 20 hours of gameplay if you try to beat it on hard. Overall B(raveland)+

Not much depth into the game, and fairly simple. But for the price if you are looking for a hours of time killing its worth picking up.

If you have ever played "Heroes" any game in the series, you feel right at home here. The combat is pretty much the same. You move your troops around, cast spells do buff your soldiers or harm the enemies.

Theres also a Surival mode, which I havent tried. And I guess it will give a few more hours into the game?

Ohterwise then that, polished game. Nohting special, but fun few hours of gameplay.

Braveland really just makes me wanna play (Heroes of Might and Magic 3)
With that said, it's still fun, it's really easy but it still has its tough moments.
I say 10/10 for what it is... I do recommend waiting till it goes on sale though.

A very well done turn based strategy game. Story is a bit lacking, but gameplay is entertaining enough to keep you entertained for around 5 hours. So a dollar an hour give or take.

Small cartoonized game based on hard soil of "King's Bounty" and "Heroes of Might and Magic" and originally made for smartphones. Contains easy short linear campaign for wanna-be-knight with "they burned my village" motivation... and sometimes-challenging survival mode.
Is it worth buying? Well, yeah, especially if you get one of those 75-90% discount coupons. Steam cards for this game are quite high, so you have a chance to get more money than you paid. Other good thing for a game collector is simple achievements. With some basic planning and skill you can get all 21 in 1 walkthrough, which takes from you approx. 3 hours.

Overall - not of great value, not a mustbuy, but looks nice, adequately priced, and have some chances to challenge you for a short time. 8/10.

PS: I get it as present from Bear, so I'd like to thank him one more time there! Спасибо!

Very fun short game, and theres apprently a part two, so dont worry about it being THAT short. There isnt any real challenge. Just some good old thinking needed, even then, you could screw up majorly, and still suceed.

Enjoy ^-^

Braveland is a turn based strategy for beginners to the genre. There is a bonus given for losing battles to encourage players to never give up. Healers are more effective as offensive casters. There is all the sheer basics that make up a TBS, but nothing more. If you are a beginner, or you want to introduce your children in to the genre, or you really want a game that is easy to max out achievements on, give it a shot. If you are looking for a solid challenge, you're simply not going to find it here.

Edit: Since my last review, I decided to play it all the way through in all the different modes. Hard mode wasn't much different than normal, but did offer a little more boosted enemy AI. Failure still pays out. Survivor mode was actually a fair challenge. Unit death is real, and you have to buy units between battles. This gets tricky, as they only offer specific units for sale between each battle. This makes healers imperative, but also puts a huge target on their head. The longer you last, the bigger bonus they will give you next time around. Survivor mode also cuts out all role play, which speeds up the game drastically. Even with survivor mode, the game simply isn't as tough as the Heroes of Might & Magic series, which I would recommend to those who found this game too easy.
