Bravery not needed
Enjoyable

You have Heroes of Might and Magic and you have this. This is for the casual players. Definitely designed for mobile it is pretty ok on PC. Nice cartoony graphics, ok sound, music not too irritating and fairly polished play. Not very tactical and deep. Just follow the path, and you will have an fairly easy time at normal difficulty if you just play correctly and don't to utterly stupid things.

Just an enjoyable turn-based hex-square tactical(?) mob game.

Braveland is a fun little strategy RPG where you play a guy who's village was destroyed and he's out for revenge. You have a overhead map you move around on going from point to point. Each point either has an enemy, friendly, store, or treasure.

You can buy and find or buy gear to increase your attacks, and defenses. You will also earn specials that can be released after being hit so many times. Each special costs a different amount and can be pretty helpful at times. As you progress through the map you will come across friendlies who will join up with you. You'll get help from knights, archers, and healers for example.

When building a team for battles they give you a point system. Each unit stack costs a certain amount and your max points to use is 15. So for example farmers costs 2 points per stack and archers are 3. Then after leveling up your main character you will be allowed to recruit more people per unit stack. This way when you go into battle you would have like 15 farmers per stack, 10 archers per stack, and so on. Enemies may only take some damage or may wipe out a few people from the stack. After each battle you are given exp points and gold. Then if you lost people you get charged a certain amount to revive them.

I played the game on easy considering I have a ton of games to play and really want to clear out some backllog. It has a cool little story and was fun to play. I finished it in about 5 hours. Braveland is definitely worth playing.

Extremely simple. Suitable maybe for 10 years old kids. But it's certainly nicely done. I'm not saying that it's a badly made. But it offers no fun.

Braveland is a casual and fun little turn based strategy game. The plot is nothing original or too interesting, however the game play is fun, albeit a bit short. I'd recommend to start off the game with the hardest mode for more of a challenge. Nevertheless, the quaint music and bright artwork are also great aspects of the game itself. Some of the mechanics can be improved, such as healers being able to heal more than once, and being able to arrange units. Other than that, I did enjoy the game, though I'm not sure if I would recommend it at its full price (I got it on discount myself). It's a great little gem to play with during a reprieve from some more challenging games, or a tiring work week.
