Pajama Sam: No Need To Hide When It’s Dark Outside is the first in the Pajama Sam point and click series made by Humongous Entertainment, in this game you join a young hero named Sam who is scared of the dark and in his fear he makes his persona Pajama Sam based on his favorite comic book Pajama Man to fight Darkness(the main villain in the comic book) in his closet. At the start of the game you have to help Pajama Sam get his hero gear which is really just a mask, flashlight, and lunchbox. They are pretty easy to find, after you find the hero gear you go into the closet to fight Darkness, Pajama Sam trips and falls into Darkness’s world. As you walk towards Darkness’s house you get caught in a rope trap and some crazy trees take you hero gear, you get down and you are on a mission to get them back. The gameplay is pretty good, I considered putting a walkthrough in this review but I think it is best for you to experience this game for yourself.
Gameplay: 9/10 - One of the best point and click adventure games I have played and no bugs.
Story: 9/10 - I would read it to my kids for a bedtime story.
Music: 10/10 - Wacky and goofy fits perfect with the game.
Combat: 10/10 - There is none, so it is great for worried parents.
Gameplay time: 2/10 you can beat it in about 30 minutes to an hour.
Overall: 8/10 An amazing game I would recommend, it should and will go down in the history books alongside Half Life as some of the best games ever made.
