About This Game

Thousands of years ago six demon kings, known as the Revenants, ruled the world with an iron fist and bloody swords. Donning the bodies of mortal vassals, they could live in the realms of man forever. The great hero and warlock Harbinger was the only one who could stand up to their power. One by one he hunted the Revenants, taking their spirits and casting them into the Well of Souls. Alas, the Revenants survived. As a young man you will travel to meet your uncle in the town of Madrigal. There, your destiny draws you into the path that Harbinger trod - to confront the Revenants and banish their souls back to the Well forever. Your travels will take you far from Madrigal, to the ruined kingdoms of Horath, the ancient empire of Thardolin, and through the lost city of Talendrah. You will brave searing deserts and icy plains. You will have to seek answers among the living and the dead.

  • Customizable combat and magic system that can be as simple or as complex as you like.
  • Compelling story with many twists and turns will keep you hooked for hours.
  • Dynamic music, high quality voice acting, and more than one possible ending.

An old favorite from long ago. Compared to the similar games today it may seem slow but with patience this can be a rewarding game. The music and voice acting is very unique and adds to the overall atmosphere a lot. It can be difficult at times to find locations but back in the day that was the norm. I suggest to the older PC gamers who aren't afraid to show a little patience and understanding to this genre of game before they were super refined.

It works on windows 10! only with my gaming laptop, my gaming laptop got 2 grapics card, it wont work on the gtx 740, but i works on the intel grapics 4000 card so! it works.

I like the retro look but it's allitle bit dark. But you can't blame a game with your taste.

If you like dark stuf and love retro games buy it!

(I am christain so yeah XD but stil I realy wan't to play the game because the retro feeling!)
(And i got the game free so yeah)

"Soulbringer" is a game of a dawn of CRPG, when there were no established formulas and forms. From the age of experiments. Therefore, it is unusual everything: combat system, design and, of course, plot and style. You won't find anything similar in any games in those years, nor modern.

Pros:
Gloomy atmosphere
Great art design and animations
Decent combat system
No pre-set classes
Somewhat open world (some locations open only along with the storyline)
Full and good dubbing

Cons:
Boring story
Annoying controls and camera

I swear I think Steam is attempting to nickle and dime me to death! I'm a serious retro gamer and this game is so awesome! I finished this game years ago, but I'm really looking forward to completing it again. FYI, the first time I played it I actually broke the game. The final boss is supposed to have it's health reduced to 25% and then runs to the last room, however I amped up my character so high that it killed the boss on the first meeting. When I ran to the second room there was nothing to do, no end movie or credits. I searched the web and figured out what I did and LAUGHED!!!! I ended up reloading an earlier save and taking it easier on the bad guy and was able to finish the game. I'm so looking forward to playing this again!

Pros:
+ Gloomy atmosphere
+ Great art design and animations
+ Decent combat system
+ No pre-set classes
+ Somewhat open world (some locations open only along with the storyline)
+ Full and good dubbing

Cons:
- Another fantasy game...
- Boring story
- Annoying controls and camera
- Worn clothes by the player's character are not shown in the game world, even with full mail armour he looks like an unarmoured peasant.

A surprising hidden gem, I recommend it to everyone who fancies cRPGs. It's not a great game, but it definitely is a decent one.
