I don't think I've ever seen Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook miss a shot in this game.

Started playing 2k when it first came out up til now and I'd have to say this one's my favorite!!! For a basketball simulation this is the closest thing you'll get to it. Most of the bad reviews have hardly any hours, which tells me they are used to the easy mode of NBA 2k12-'14. 10/10

P.S. Would buy this for my grandmother.

I bought and played NBA 2k14 and liked it (I played quite a few seasons here and there). So, when NBA 2k15 came out I thought it was going to be more of the same...gameplay-wise? Yes, I still love the game. BUT, being able to easily connect to servers, download up to date rosters, etc. are all important for my enjoyment. I have TRIED to play this game and like it, but I just can't do it. Other than playing quick-matches with out dated rosters, I have not been able to get anything to work properly with this game. Try to connect servers? Nope. Try to download (ANY) rosters (offical 2k ones or user-made)? Nope. Try to play Myplayer or MyGM for more than one sitting (again with out dated rosters)? Nope; the cycle goes start a season, save your progress, come back later, "save file corrupted." Worse than all this is that 2k has done absolutely NOTHING to help fix the problem and can't give me a proper reason for what I'm experiencing when I've contacted support. I've seen in several other forums that other people are having the same trouble. I bought this game when it came out and figured it was just launch issues and that they'd be patched out, but here, now, a year or so later, they same DAMN problems. I realize noone is likely to care about a review to a sports game that came out a year ago when the newest version is already out there, but I don't care, I needed to vent, that crap is hella frustrating...

NBA 2K15 is certainly frustrating at times, but throughout the life of the game I kept returning for more.

There really isn't any competition to the NBA 2K series, and 2K15 did it's job of lasting until the release of NBA 2K16 without feeling too dull.

I would recommend 2K15, but by the time you're reading this you're probably much better off buying NBA 2K16 (or newer), as the NBA 2K series stays relatively similar with a few improvements each year.
