Pros
Very nice graphics
The addition of euroleague basketball is a good extra
Still better then NBA live
Cons
Ai is very poor makes things like My team unplayable
Players miss wide open lay ups and 2 pointers
Servers always go down and the game only works with connection
My player is awful youre whole team relies on you and the ai never takes open shots.
Charge fouls and reach in fouls are completely broken.
Far too many backcourt violations from the ai.

Good evening eveyone,

The review is on nba2k15.

The game, I still think its a good game however, there are alot of bugs in the game as with the cutscene, the commentator are starting to bug out as they stop mid though the game. and the patches don't work, if you are buying the game today. but as i said I'm not leaving out that the game is really beside all of that, the game has good graphics, great story mode in my career, and also leave a good impression for those how would want to play basketball, also getting inspired to go into the nba. 2k have made a game that how much you like it, loved it or hate it, keeps you coming for more.

I would recommend this game for those how just want to know what the game has to instore, for new 2k fans.

Don't pay full price for ANY 2K game.

Any online functions are on the clock the moment the game is released, and after they pull the plug on the servers, the online modes are gone thus leaving you with only half a game.

Also the coins you acquire via play are unusable, so don't waste your time.

This game is a giant pile of stuttering crap, steam wouldnt give me a refund even though its nearly unplayable. I have tto pause it every 10-15 secs so the stuttering stops for about 10-15 secs

what is this !@#$?

nba 2k15 is very awful,
the game is not fun at all, hard to score, hard to defense, the players move very weird and they don't know how to defend at all.

this is first class thrash; do not buy it.

I've played for 10 hours and I still don't know the controls. Every time I end up passing the ball to someone I had no intention on passing the ball to. I have no idea what the plays are, I have no Idea how to set picks, the pro stick does everything 2-3 seconds after I use it which confuses me. Very Very bad controlls. Unless you've already played the previous 3 games a lot, I would never get this game. I would give this game a 1/5.

Fun but has lots of bugs

The game is wonderful. My Career mode rocks, but the bugs really made it suck

1) Audio causes my system to slow down - why do I know this, cause with the audio there's stuttering ... not micro-stuttering, just plain old stuttering... and sometimes the stutter lasts for like 2-5 seconds long. I cut the audio and it's smooth playing as if I'm playing at 60fps

2) The CPU tends to "control" my man - I was wondering about this for months. At first I thought maybe it was my keyboard drivers or what cause I'd be pressing the keys for my player to go run on offense but it wants to run back the other way ... but at one game, the CPU took control of my "My Career" player for about 4 whole minutes. It played by itself, and the CPU played my guy really well. So that sucked

The 2k franchise is, or was wonderful... now I just can't wait for EA to release an NBA LIVE for PC cause 2k's version really just isn't fun anymore if you don't have full control over your My Career character

I honestly prefer this and a bag of Munchos over 2k16 (and a bag of Munchos).

Seriously. Buy the Munchos... and the game if you still have pocket change from those Munchos you got.

I have a love/hate relationship with this game. Every time I play it, I get frustrated, but I love basketball and 2K is the only option on the market (EA doesn't have any idea on what they are doing). The teammate AI run around aimlessly, the opposing CPU will make heavily contested shots 9 times out of 10, and player tendencies don't mean anything. Most of the issues I have with the game only pertain to the top two difficulties.
PROS:
- Runs smooth
- Graphics are nice
- It's basketball
- Game modes are fun
CONS:
- Controller support is wack
- CPU plays at an unrealistic level on higher difficulties
- Teammates don't make sense
- 2K doesn't support the game, and each update made the game run worse
- The servers are dead
- Player animations are used on multiple people, and get stale
- Running plays doesn't work well
- The refs are biased in favor of the CPU
- CPU disregards player tendencies

With that said I still play this game quite a bit, and if it was $10 or less I would recommend it, but with 2k17 almost out, there really isn't any point to pay the $60. Hopefully 2K starts to support the PC version more!

NBA 2K15 is certainly frustrating at times, but throughout the life of the game I kept returning for more.

There really isn't any competition to the NBA 2K series, and 2K15 did it's job of lasting until the release of NBA 2K16 without feeling too dull.

I would recommend 2K15, but by the time you're reading this you're probably much better off buying NBA 2K16 (or newer), as the NBA 2K series stays relatively similar with a few improvements each year.

Very fun game to play offline on MyCareer trying to make your way onto the best team on the game and maybe even be teammates some basketball legends such a Lebron James or Stephen Curry or Kobe Bryant, it is also very fun to play MyPark with friends and really test your abilities against real players

Started playing 2k when it first came out up til now and I'd have to say this one's my favorite!!! For a basketball simulation this is the closest thing you'll get to it. Most of the bad reviews have hardly any hours, which tells me they are used to the easy mode of NBA 2k12-'14. 10/10

P.S. Would buy this for my grandmother.

I bought and played NBA 2k14 and liked it (I played quite a few seasons here and there). So, when NBA 2k15 came out I thought it was going to be more of the same...gameplay-wise? Yes, I still love the game. BUT, being able to easily connect to servers, download up to date rosters, etc. are all important for my enjoyment. I have TRIED to play this game and like it, but I just can't do it. Other than playing quick-matches with out dated rosters, I have not been able to get anything to work properly with this game. Try to connect servers? Nope. Try to download (ANY) rosters (offical 2k ones or user-made)? Nope. Try to play Myplayer or MyGM for more than one sitting (again with out dated rosters)? Nope; the cycle goes start a season, save your progress, come back later, "save file corrupted." Worse than all this is that 2k has done absolutely NOTHING to help fix the problem and can't give me a proper reason for what I'm experiencing when I've contacted support. I've seen in several other forums that other people are having the same trouble. I bought this game when it came out and figured it was just launch issues and that they'd be patched out, but here, now, a year or so later, they same DAMN problems. I realize noone is likely to care about a review to a sports game that came out a year ago when the newest version is already out there, but I don't care, I needed to vent, that crap is hella frustrating...

Beyond all other minor gripes (the kind of imperfections that almost every game has), there was one huge flaw that just bugged the hell out of me for the very short time I played. Because the players are just a series of pre-recorded animations, it constantly felt like my controller input was a half-second behind. Even with quick, agile players, I always felt like the player was too far behind my commands. This is especially frustrating on defense because it feels like you're playing through considerable lag, leading to wide open oppoents.

Some other minor gripes:
-graphics are a disappointment for a 2015 game
-shot meter gets hidden by players who aren't in the way of the shot, but rather in between the camera angle and the shooters feet(where the shot meter is). Missing shots because of this fact is annoying. The shot meter should be part of the HUD, not attached to the players feet, or it should move to the front layer whenever you're taking a shot.
-felt like there were a ton of controls to learn/remember. I didn't see any interactive tutorials to help you along either...just static videos to watch.
-55GB download. Jesus...is there a Library of Congress mode in here or something?

I know I've only played this game for less than an hour, but take that as more of a sign that I really didn't like anything I saw, and quit because it wasn't getting better the longer I played. I liked 2k13. That version felt much more accessible.

This game is quite cool. So many different customizations for you MyCareer character, there is a store to buy accessories, etc. for your MyPlayer. This game may lag on many computers as you need a good graphics card and may need improvement on the AI's.

Fans of the NBA 2K series know what to expect when they play yearly editions of these games.
The mechanics are tweaked a bit and the story-driven career mode is what is highlighted by the marketing team of the game.

However, most people will buy this for the "real" basketball game modes. In that regard, not too much has changed. That's not a bad thing. NBA 2K15 is what you expect in a basketball game. No more, no less.

7/10 "Good"
