About This Game

Urban myths are stories that may or may not have been believed to be true. Unlike most, some are actually based on real events. One of them, takes place in a haunted forest, near a cemetery, on the borders of a city, near you. Many consider this place dangerous late at night, because there are things happening that nobody knows of or wants to know.

Real Horror Stories is a point and click horror adventure. The goal of the game is to clear each level. At first it may seem easy but the choices are not always what they seem. You will need to find the right combination of objects to click in order to proceed. Along the way you will encounter puzzles that you need to solve in order to advance to the next level. However, once you understand the gameplay , ghosts , demons and monsters jump out of nowhere to take or scare you! The game is very creepy, especially if you try to play it at night. You will definitely get into the mood immediately. Turn the lights off, put on your headphones and try it...

I bought this game not expecting it would be any good, got it very cheap in a sale.

Very minimum interface, just click 3 or so objects on the screen in the right order to get a so called jump scare such as a shadow popping out at you and moving across the screen or a severed head falling out of a tree. Wow woopdee do not scary or interesting.

This game is slightly scary, sometimes it will cause me to jump but most of the time not. I think I've been desensitised, hardly anything scares or repulses me anymore. The game description classes it as very creepy, I would not class it as very creepy.

Has no story or plot to follow. It says Urban stories but Iam not sure what they are, you just have some ghosts or such jump out at you and get some newspaper clipping covered in blood saying pregnant woman found butchered, killer unknown, it does not go into any story in detail. And there is no verbal narration at all.

No wonder people rated it as a comedy as it's laughably not scary.

Another reviewer sumarised it perfectly all this game is "click on objects, wait for thing"

Only buy if you like to add to your game collection and cards.
1/10 unacceptable.

The jumpscares are constant. The only way to progress is to click randomly on each part of the screen until something pops out and screams in your face because there's no logic to any of the puzzles.

Do you know what Real Horror Stories is about? It's about Steam releasing crappy games like this one... an oversimplified Point & Click featuring hidden elements, cheap scares and no story at all. I'm sorry but this goes below what I can tolerate.
