About This Game

Urban myths are stories that may or may not have been believed to be true. Unlike most, some are actually based on real events. One of them, takes place in a haunted forest, near a cemetery, on the borders of a city, near you. Many consider this place dangerous late at night, because there are things happening that nobody knows of or wants to know.

Real Horror Stories is a point and click horror adventure. The goal of the game is to clear each level. At first it may seem easy but the choices are not always what they seem. You will need to find the right combination of objects to click in order to proceed. Along the way you will encounter puzzles that you need to solve in order to advance to the next level. However, once you understand the gameplay , ghosts , demons and monsters jump out of nowhere to take or scare you! The game is very creepy, especially if you try to play it at night. You will definitely get into the mood immediately. Turn the lights off, put on your headphones and try it...

So yeah, the reports were true. This was a pretty terrible game. It tried to scare you with gory images and jump scares that weren't scary, lol. Some of the puzzles were just annoying. the two redeeming qualities of the game were: the actual images looked okay, and the value of the trading cards is right at the 24 cents or so that this game cost, so you can recoup your investment, lol. 'nuff said.

No story or plot.
The jump scares were terrible.
Not worth the 19 cents I spent as a joke to buy this.
Go buy some DLC or something instead of this game.
By the way.. What the ♥♥♥♥ was doing John Paul II on the cross?!

A Review Mostly for me so I know I’ve completed the story, as well as feedback on the game.

My Thoughts:- ♥♥♥♥ GAME, you have to look around for hints and you just have to click a lot on most things.

Graphics:- meh type feel, low end jpg pics.

Controls:- mouse just click like a madman

Achievements:- N/A

What Could Be Added:- a delete from steam button

Rating:- 1 / 10

Real Horror Stories Ultimate Edition is a poop stain on the gaming industry. It is the worst game on Steam, without question. I am perplexed at how this game made its way onto Steam. RHS reminds me of flash games I used to play when I was like, 8. I got this game for $0.50, and I STILL feel like I paid to much for it.

The first thing I do when I launch a game is go into the settings. This game doesn't have any settings options. That's always a bad sign. I sighed, and then decided to play. I was greeted with an abundance of muddy textures and poor animations that looked like they were made in MS Paint.

This "game" (if you can call it that) is one of those "click-everywhere-and-wait-for-things-to-happen" games that you find online. There are almost no genuine puzzles. You literally just click everything you see and hope that it triggers a depressingly hideous, tasteless jumpscare. But the thing is, sometimes your mouse doesn't turn into a hand to signify that you can click the item. This isn't that big of problem in the earlier levels, but once it gets more difficult, you're going to have to look up a walkthrough. Sometimes you could be clicking on the right item, but because the game wants you to be very precise on what part of the item you're clicking on, you could just be clicking on the wrong part. That is very frustrating. I ended up just quitting the game because I was following everything that the walkthrough (made by the creators of the game) was saying, but I still couldn't pass the level. They need to fix this. Another thing that annoys me is that you can only save every 3 levels. This isn't a problem in the earlier levels because of how short they are, but in the later levels, it's a ♥♥♥♥♥. I can't tell you how many times I've had to redo a level just because I had to go somewhere or do something or the game crashed.

I also have a problem with the jumpscares. I am not that big a fan of gore, and this game sure has a lot of it. I am usually able to stomach most other games, but this game just takes it too far. This game is unbearably gruesome and unsettling. This game isn't scary, it's just grotesque.

This game only has two positives.
1) It runs.
2) The sound is not terrible.
Overall, this is a ♥♥♥♥ game. I am disappointed at Valve for letting this game in.
