About This Game

Urban myths are stories that may or may not have been believed to be true. Unlike most, some are actually based on real events. One of them, takes place in a haunted forest, near a cemetery, on the borders of a city, near you. Many consider this place dangerous late at night, because there are things happening that nobody knows of or wants to know.

Real Horror Stories is a point and click horror adventure. The goal of the game is to clear each level. At first it may seem easy but the choices are not always what they seem. You will need to find the right combination of objects to click in order to proceed. Along the way you will encounter puzzles that you need to solve in order to advance to the next level. However, once you understand the gameplay , ghosts , demons and monsters jump out of nowhere to take or scare you! The game is very creepy, especially if you try to play it at night. You will definitely get into the mood immediately. Turn the lights off, put on your headphones and try it...

So yeah, the reports were true. This was a pretty terrible game. It tried to scare you with gory images and jump scares that weren't scary, lol. Some of the puzzles were just annoying. the two redeeming qualities of the game were: the actual images looked okay, and the value of the trading cards is right at the 24 cents or so that this game cost, so you can recoup your investment, lol. 'nuff said.

No story or plot.
The jump scares were terrible.
Not worth the 19 cents I spent as a joke to buy this.
Go buy some DLC or something instead of this game.
By the way.. What the ♥♥♥♥ was doing John Paul II on the cross?!

Serious review below (because joke reviews are not useful, but a waste of time):

This is a supposedly enhanced version of a free web game, with more puzzles, better graphics than the original version and a clue system, that helps you if you are stuck for a very long time in one the game's levels. Want to demo the game on your browser? Try using google and you'll find it. The idea behind it is nice, but it is badly executed. Lack of clues to solve puzzles, one annoying puzzle that forces you to have great mouse control with lots of trial and error, a puzzle that requires you to memorize a word from a large text, etc.

The game's sounds are good, but become very repetitive if you take too long to finish a room. There are some very weird and disgusting scenarios that fit the game well. The jump scares can frighten some people, but they are overused and predictable, with a B-horror, funny effect.

I bought this because of the huge discount (75%) and because the game gives you cards, so I ended up paying a negligible price for the game after selling the 3 cards it gave me.

Unless you want this game's cards, stick to the free version, which never got some annoying endgame puzzles.

A Review Mostly for me so I know I’ve completed the story, as well as feedback on the game.

My Thoughts:- ♥♥♥♥ GAME, you have to look around for hints and you just have to click a lot on most things.

Graphics:- meh type feel, low end jpg pics.

Controls:- mouse just click like a madman

Achievements:- N/A

What Could Be Added:- a delete from steam button

Rating:- 1 / 10

the game constantly try to jump scare you all the time to a point that it's become predictable after a while , it's a very grim and dark game ... there a few quite disturbing sight to be seen in there but that's the only interesting thing to say about the game

in term of gameplay there a few puzzles but I din't find them very fun to solve and looked at the solution twice because even the hints page that come with the game din't helped me.

it's very short's on top of that , there also a 'free' flash version which don't miss much from the steam release that can still be found at a few websites.
