We have another Podcast coming up, but we're going to need everyone's help for this one.
This podcast will be hosted on October 19th at 8:30 PM EST (5:30 PM PST).
Host Location: http://www.twitch.tv/mav_podcast
The layout of the podcast will be new as well. Instead of compiling a super huge list of discussion topics, we'll be splitting the layout into a part game discussion as we've normally done, and then a Ask Me Anything for the Developer and those on the show. This is your chance to learn any odd end question, business ideals, development future, and secret plans to create Skynet and take over the world.
We'll also be working in a system to have giftcode giveaways to those watching the stream and asking questions during the AmA section.
Now here's the part where we need everyone's help. We want to have a large turnout for this, and create a large amount of hype for the up and coming Social Update. This update will be heavily focused on refining all aspects of Multiplayer, a long awaited doing.
We already have managed a similar feat with the Kickstarter and Steam when it comes to spreading the word, but this would be a good refreshment for the news sources who covered M.A.V. previously and even allow for some of their questions to be answered about the game during the live stream. Let's make some noise for this.
Lastly, we are starting our discussion list for the podcast. Linked below is the list. If you see something not on the list that you want to be discussed, make a post here suggesting it. The same goes for if you will not be able to make the podcast and you have a question.
As the podcast becomes closer, information will be updated if need be. Let's make this happen.

Welcome to the State of the Game! New this week, AI no longer use the 'default' green colors. You can now tell who is actually on your team! Exciting stuff!
So I created a system that will assign each team a set of team colors, which can be a solid color or a camo pattern and colors. When AI spawn in, they will use the team colors. This will not affect human players, so you will still need to make sure you know who is on your team when you spawn. This change does affect the AI in arena mode, so it will be a festival of colors [and much easier to track down and revenge kill AI].
Also in the latest snapshot includes several balance tweaks to howitzers and a few other weapons. Full change list can be found here.
I have also been working on the next iteration of No Man's Pass. This will be the final whitebox version. Once I have that done, I will send the level to a contract to create custom models and while I wait on that I will implement the last features of the Commander update.
Well, that is everything for this week! See you next week!
