If you're looking for a platformer game where you die a lot, and start everything all over, and all over again infinite times, then this is a game created for you. After multiple fails and over 2 hours of gameplay I felt seriously frustrated, but still I was NOT able to stop playing it. There's 6 starting classes (It's called "your father was" - King, Lancer, Sheperd, Paladin, Bottler and Peasant) but after a short time you'll lose starting items, so at al there's no diffirence which one you'll pick at the beggining. You can summon birds and they will help you fight with enemies on your way. You can also collect and use oils to improve your attack abilities or just to repair your armor/weapons. Every item you have can be destroyed by using it (weapon) or when you take hits (armor). Each map has time limit and your character gets older very fast, so you can't just stand and waste seconds. You can't block incoming attacks, so the only one way to avoid is jumping like there's no tomorrow "mario-like-jumps". At all timing is a key and everytime you start game again your run will be better than before.
From graphic side game is fine - you'll not find a fireworks in here but everything is aesthetically made and will not hurt your eyes. Sounds are fine too - after 2 hours I still do not turned music off.
A game not for a long time and not for everyone, but with fair price adjusted to what it offers.

Don't let the cute graphic fools you.
This is actually Dark Souls in 2D.
It's roguelike and if you die you have to start a new game.

For 2.99$ i can call this game ( Fun )
It was created with Construct 2 ( free software on steam to create games )
But you'd feel better if you get it on sales or a bundle or just cheaper ....because its too damn short

the game's animation and art was done beautifully but get ready for some disappointment because this game ends quite fast
i mean they werent that big of a team to make such game longer, it can be finished in 5 minutes if you know what you're doing.

Basic Game Similar to Volgarr the viking very similar indeed.

Could call it a bit hard but then you get used to it and its really.

So i am confused if i should Vote this down or not because it was just too short, but that price is not much and i didnt even get it at full price on a bundle a time ago so i am guessing for me i will vote it up,

you Choose between a set of "classes" and play, each has different weapon wielding styles thats pretty much it

The game has no story and nothing you just pretty much start playing which is why i said similar To Volgarr.
could have been more effective if they added a few story lines ( quests ) since this games animation and artwork begs for that, and becomes longer with a solid gameplay then it goes to the price of 9.99$ that could be a dream game for me, not really sure if the Devs have any plans for this game or anything so dont ask me.

Very fun platformer with varied weapon types. Reminds me of Ghosts 'n Goblins, but with an Adventure Time art style. You can pick a class to start as, but as far as I can tell it only changes your starting gear. Weapons have limited uses, but many others can be picked up and augmented with potions along the way. Your bird companion can carry your extra gear and eggs that can hatch on your command to provide some assistance in the form of a circling attack bird.

Really fun game, you platform along - collecting heaps of items, fighting tons of bad guys and trying not to die.

It also has a really nice art-style and a pleasant soundtrack IMO.

There are light RPG elements in that you essentially pick a class to play and have an inventory of items to manage, most items have low durability and will break before long - you can also augment items with potions and give them different effects.

There's a bird companion who follows you and collects your excess equipment, it also collects any eggs you find - you can hatch them and they will assist you in some way for a short time.

You also only have 1 life during each game and when you die you drop a tomb-stone which acts as a visual checkpoint of how far your previous character (of that class) reached.

Another thing worth mentioning is one of the classes starts off at 1/5 stars and each time you complete the game, you gain a star and the next playthrough will be more difficult - which is great fun.

While the layout of the stages stay the same each playthrough, the location, type and amount of monsters and items are randomised each game - which lends a ton of replay value and keeps it challenging.

There's a lot to like here and for the price, I definitely recommend it to pretty much anyone.
