What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“An Early Access Beta Pack is your chance to experience and have an impact on Deadbreed® as it progress through the final stages of development. Be aware that, while our Early Access offer is already a great representation of the game, it’s still work in progress and therefore contains bugs, unfinished features and some unpolished content.

New features and improvements will be added regularly. We strongly advise you not to buy and play the game at this stage unless you understand what Early Access means and are ready to accept possible interruptions or flaws in your gaming experience. It makes most sense to play an Early Access game if, for instance, you want to support the development of the game, influence the development with your feedback or just want to get a taste of things.

The game will be available in several languages, but the Early Access version will only be in English.

Player feedback is very important to us, so we'd love to hear from you. Let us know what you think could be improved, what bugs you encounter and what we did right so far. The more you tell us, the better we can make the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current target is to complete the closed Beta phase by the end of the summer and move into open Beta.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access closed Beta is already a great representation of the game, however it’s still work in progress and therefore contains bugs which will gradually be fixed as we move through the Beta stages. In addition to this we also plan to add a couple of features and maps plus a set of Heroes, Artifacts, Totems and Sentinels to the full version of the game. We are also targeting several additional language versions of the game for the full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We are at the initial stages of the Beta phase.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. However, there will be a "free-to-play" full version of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We've already gotten great feedback from the Steam Community in our Greenlight campaign and we hope this will evolve now that players get a chance to participate hands-on and help us improve the game by letting us know about any bugs encountered and hopefully providing constructive feedback and suggestions.”

Patch Notes November 14th, 2014

  • The match user interface has been improved. Better design and larger and clearer elements.
  • Heroes have updated visuals for name, match lvl and Health Bars above their heads.
  • New Game Font/Typography.
  • The Cursor now changes to an Attack Cursor (sword) when moved over a legal target or an Info/interact Cursor (necro hand) when moved over static object.
  • Your target is now clearly indicated by a red (enemy) or green (friendly) outline.
  • The default size of the minimap has been increased.
  • New Sentinel! Demalius is in, including Creeps (melee, ranged, brutes), Monoliths (Guardians) and a new Demalius Citadel.
  • Corpus has gotten a complete makeover and two new abilities (the Dash and Bone Toss abilities are unchanged, however Bone Toss has been renamed Jolt to match the facelift).
Shock Link (replacing Ooze): You create a charged link between yourself and an allied Unit within 2 (+0.2 per ability level) Range. The shackle deals 50 (+20 per ability level) Power Damage to enemy units caught in its path. Damage increases with length of the link.
Lightning Strike (replacing Soul Steal): You call down a lightning strike that deals 150 (+50 per ability level) Power Damage (+75% of Hero's Power) to all targets within 3 (+0.5 per ability level) Area of Effect. If the strike hits a corpse, that Unit is revived with 20% (+2%per ability level) of its max Health and Mana.
  • Presets are in! So instead of the pre-match shop, you pick a starting equipment preset for your Hero that match the role you intend to play. You are able to re-equip as usual in the armory once the game starts. Later we will add the option for you to create your own starting equipment presets.
  • By choosing starting preset before the match you are now also setting your game role (Fighter, Tank, Assassin or Mage) for the game. This choice also has meaning for the Meta game role rewards.
  • Artifacts are no longer "unique" meaning that you can equip an Artifact even if another player is already using it. However, Artifacts are "singular" meaning that you can only wear one of that particular Artifact at a time.
  • Domini's Apocalypse Ability is replaced with Terraslam: You slam the ground and knock back all Enemy Units within 3 (+0.2 per ability level up) Range, Stunning all targets for 1.5 (+0.5 per ability level up) seconds and dealing 150 (+50 per ability level up) (+40% of Hero's Power) Power Damage. If a target is knocked into a wall, the stun time is doubled.
  • Domini's Bloodscent Ability is replaced with Leap: You leap to a target's location within 6 units (+ 0.5 per ability level up) Range and gain +20% (+2% per ability level) Attack Damage Bonus to you next autoattack.
  • Mana Cost for Abilities are now displayed in a blue box ontop each of your abilities, they will be greyed out when you lack sufficient Mana to activate the ability.
  • Infliciting a Critical Hit now displays an additional Hit VFX on the character that was hit.
  • Creep targeting priorities have been improved.
  • In-Match Hero Level Up now has a visual effect.
  • The Hero turn rotation speed/input is more responsive in general and the Hero auto-attack priority and functionality has been improved.
  • Mana Level Up Cost for Abilities is now calculated correctly.
  • Power Damage is now displayed with cyan text above the character that is damaged by the Ability.
  • The bug with the Sentinel’s Health increasing/decreasing randomly has been fixed.
  • The loadscreen has been redesigned to show heroes lining up and facing eachother and displays tips text.
  • There’s new different art for each type of treasure chest (small, medium, large).
  • The bug with Corpus is running one way, throws his BoneToss (Jolt) in another direction than he is facing, and the visual for the ability goes forward (the same direction Corpus is facing/running) has been fixed.
  • 2H Crush weapons now hit at the correct "frame" (i.e. The animation syncs up against the attack speed).
  • All "book" type items are now placed on the belt and attack animations are replaced with a "spell" cast from the hero's hand.
  • The Day/Night Lighting has been updated.
  • A special sound is now played for you personally when you are selected as a Target by a Monolith.
  • Monoliths have adjusted attack ranges and no longer attack "beyond" their range when they "retain" you as a priority target. The Monolith Attack Range is now indicated visually in each map (circle of stones on ground beneath its base).
  • Creeps have had approximately -10% adjustment to their base attack damage.
  • Demonata has new Voice Over.
  • Nekros has new movement animations.
  • Crow's Bow Ability now has special Hero Animation
  • Starting area of the Graveyard and Staircase in front of Behemoth's citadel has updated visual content.
  • All Magic Attack Items have updated VFX, SFX and Hero Animations when used. There are 3 different types of Magic Attacks; Fire, Ice and Electricity. All Melee weapons have updated attack sounds.
  • Picking up a pile of Gold (loot) from a chest, plays special sound and coin vfx.
  • Entering a Dungeon Gate plays a enter Gate sound and all Dungeons have new, individual ambience sound.
  • The Following Items have been moved from Tier 2 and made Starting Tier Items: Golem's Platemail, Guardian Mantle, Haste Cape, Fury Cloak, Deflection Mantle, Safeguard Mantle, Magi Cloak, Crusader Cape, Ataraxia Cloak. Note that this means they are also now about 20% more Gold efficient.
  • Kill Gold Reward (for last hit) and XP Reward increased with +20% for all Creeps, Skeletons and Spiders.
  • Most Items have recalculated/rebalanced gold cost and in many cases updated stat bonuses.
  • Value for Gold has been increased with about +5% for all "Starting Tier" items (meaning you get these items at an additional "discount"). Starting Items now in general provide a +25% "bonus" value for Gold when compared to items of higher Tiers. They also have a 70% sellback ratio compared to the normal 50% if not used as part of an item build recipe.
  • Dire Mallet is no longer upgradeable from Warclub.
  • Shadow Axe and Silver Knife now fires a "Projectile" instead of debug lines when thrown/attacking and all Bow type Items now fire "Projectile Arrows" instead of debug lines.
  • Your Standing with each Sentinel now affects his Stats. Review your personal standing and stats modification for each Sentinel in the Lobby Sentinel Focus view. At the start of a match, the team's collected standing (average) will determine the final Team Standing for that game. The Sentinel’s Team Standing is displayed in the spawn cutscene (+/- next to its name).
  • The interface visuals for the number of Keys you have been updated/clarified.
  • A lock “rotation scheme” is in place so different Heroes and Artifacts having locks each week.
  • 460 Silver Coins has been added to all registered accounts per November 14th.
  • Reset Player Meta Level, removed all assigned Rank Stars for Heroes/Artifacts, removed all Artifact Gems and cleared all sockets for all registered accounts per November 14th.
  • The Bone Corpus, Beelsebrood, Magma Brood, Monarch Nekros and Abess Cinder skins are now available.

Game Description

A Dark Breed of Heroes

Deadbreed® features a new, dark breed of Heroes. Choose from three distinct types of breed, depending on your personal taste in look and style of play, may it be Nightbreed, Halfbreed or Daybreed. There are just too many unique aspects that differentiate the breeds to list here, but keep in mind that the sight range of Night- and Daybreed varies with the day cycles and that some items can be limited to a specific breed.

Customization, Armory and Artifacts

Deadbreed® features a player centric customization feature, meaning the player has greater influence over his Hero’s look and capabilities. The items you equip not only shape the way the hero looks while playing, they dictate the way he/she moves and attacks to.

Equipping a sword and a shield will make your hero a melee fighter with the sword’s range, while re-equipping the same hero as an archer changes your range and attack to bow and arrow. This opens up totally new ways to explore custom items builds best suited for that particular hero’s abilities, opponents and game scenarios.

In addition to the possibility to adapt and remodel your favorite hero’s equipment choosing from a vast base armory, Deadbreed® features Artifacts. Artifacts are built during games like “normal” items, however they are unique meaning there can only be one in play at any given time during a game, adding an additional layer of strategy and tactical planning to hero item builds. In addition to this, Artifacts level up with games, unlocking relic slots that open up further customization opportunities for you to tune specific items for your favorite heroes. For fans of RPGs, the concept of “socketing” items should feel very familiar and for MOBA fans, you could really simplify this by saying we have moved the “runes” stats modifications associated with the player to individual items instead, and added unique effects on top to make these items really stand out in gameplay.

The Sentinels

The Sentinels are ancient guardians of the Deadbreed® bloodlines – arbitrators of the infernal battlegrounds where dead breed strive to break their undead bonds and lay to final rest. These immortal deities have been charged solely with construction of and ruling over the battlegrounds of death and decay as a punishment for their doings in the real world, but behind the façades, they vie for power while swaying the dead breeds to their philosophy – an eternal conflict among themselves for the right to lead an uprise from this hell and reclaim their rightful place in the cosmos.

As you progress in the game, you’ll uncover the cabal of the Sentinels and learn more about their individual weaknesses and strengths and how they fit your heroes and play style. You prove your Zeal for a Sentinel by choosing it as your Guardian in a match. Then the outcome of that game will modify your Standing with that particular Sentinel, affecting its strengths, abilities and enhancements in coming games making it a more formidable last boss for the enemy team to conquer in order to win (and the other way around). As your Zeal increases, you’ll open up further paths of the cabal and gain access to older and more powerful Sentinels to devote to. Will you stay loyal to a specific breed lineage or even a single Sentinel? There are strategic decisions to be made and rewards to be claimed on a daily basis as your loyalty to the Sentinels are put to the test.

Maps, Dungeons and PvE Features

The Early Access kicks off with The Graveyard. At its core, the Graveyard is a 3vs3 two-lane map with a Citadel at each end protected by monoliths. The overall goal of the map is to break the crux on the gates to gain access to the Citadel and defeat the enemy team’s Sentinel.

The Graveyard also features a Troll Cave where you can summon a Troll to fight for your side, two smaller dungeons on each team’ s side of the map and an entrance to a larger Dungeon placed dead center of the map. The concept of Dungeons is familiar to all hack’n slash fans – and our game has plenty of monsters and loot, however the big difference being that our Dungeons are much, much smaller in size and offer no way out than the way you went in, leaving you vulnerable to the enemy team. So, dungeons are our “mini-adventure” version of other MOBA’s monster nests.

Ranked Mode

Ranked mode allows you to test your skills against opponents of comparable skill and earn special ranks to reflect your skill. Winning and losing matches can gain or lose rank, and special rewards, like custom Insignia, gravestones etc. Each player's rank is reflected in their Gravestone and plaque. There are currently 5 divisions ranging from Bronze up to Diamond, with each division split in 5 series.

i really love MOBA and this game is no exception, it has some pretty good graphics a pretty through game play experience and well rounded character development. The only problem is that being that it is still a new game and early access it doesn`t get many people playing on it. and quite often you can find a match. and from my experience it doesn`t look like you can play with your friend other than in a real match. But it still being early access it looks like they will fix all the bugs and make it a very enjoyable game.

Are you a person who likes games like DOTA or League of Legends but always wished there was more character customization? Then this is the game for you.

Wish your ancient or nexus fought back in an epic battle to finish the match? Then this is the game for you.

Ever wanted to dungeon crawl with your hero or have something else to do besides just run down a lane and fight endless creep (although it could be called jungling)? Then this is the game for you.

Ever wanted to summon a troll and watch it rampage into other player? Well guess what you can do that too.

Although it is still in development this game is already very well done. As for now I will give it a 9.5/10 with a more prominent review after full release.

interesting mechanics for class selection, low to moderate weapon selection, moderate to high character customization, very hard time finding pvp, but also has a solo practice mode with bots... overall, not a bad start, but needs improvement. want to see what comes next

I really like this game due to the unique style it got for a moba. I normally play smite or strife, but this game brings moba to a whole new lvl. Yeah it is still young but it got so much potential and it is so much fun. Worth all my money!

I recomend this because its 10$ if your gunna get butt hurt over losing $10 then get a job. If you play this 10 hours in the entire time you own it you got your $ worth 1$ an hour is a pretty good trade, with that in mind proceed to the rest of the review.

OK this game could be great and would be fun if they fix these things. IF THEY DON'T FIX the player base, and add a 5v5 mode/map, then I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME.

if you buy this game buy the standard for 9.99 and use the other 10$ for the ingame market you get 450 silver for like 3$ and for 10$ for the barebones ed you get 200 silver (not enought for a breed and most artifacts)

Game devs a message to you, the customizing is why i and most others baught the game so keep it up, and if you realy want to make this a major MOBA heres a perfect way to make that happen (add a 5v5 no timer) inv people to your game instead of make people pay for it, then people wont complain about no one playing it (which is true). Great way to get the game out there would be to give some beta keys to your player and have them invite friends.

The abilities in the game currently i know its not final product and this would be one of the things done later the animations are kinda stale and not very knoticeable. The troll in my games has just walked past everyone and kiled itself on the tower, but it also has no cool down which them it can just be spammed by lilith.

No real matchmaking, no players, much content to buy. There are better alternatives, naming League of Legends, Dota 2, Heroes of Newerth, Strife, Smite etc.

I think this game shows much promise, and with proper development will offer an incredible experience to players. However, as it is at the time being, I can't recommend it to other players, mostly due to the waiting in queue.

I bought this game with two of my friends, hoping we could play as a team, but soon realized that we may have well been the only people on the game at that time.

Grewat MOBA concept, no community. Perhaps this will chance once Open Beta starts?

Early Access Review
Hello all,

This game has so many amazing MOBA ideas!!! Wow I can't wait for it to go to full launch.
As it stands I can only lay it out in Pros and Cons.

-Fantastic Art -The idea of customizing a hero to that depth is amazing -This game has the potential to create giant waves in the MOBA community

CONS (yes, it's beta or alpha i dunno. I'm forgivable)
-Everything is really really clunky - I just about smahed my keyboard looking for a way out of the equipment vendor
-you can't use minimap for directing your character. It feels like my hands are in cuffs while playing. It hurts!!!

I will be keeping this review up to date because I really want to follow this game and see it rise.
Good luck Devs!!!

Game is still in its earlier stages clearly, the store interface needs to be improved for one as well as some of the wonky abilities. There are a few balancing issues for sure but overall it's a really fun game with tons of potential.

Early Access Review
thought i would write an honest review as someone who has over 70 hours ingame rather than people with less than 2.

first thing you need to know is this game is in early access thus has all the relivent problems you find in any early acces the game is not a fully polished model. currently there are only 2 server 1 is eu other is an na/sa server you will automaticly be placed into your relivant server other regions are currently blocked ( this should change in the future but i have no date on this )

the best time to currently play is in the evenings when most people are on. The comunity atm is quite small so dont expect game after game at the moment im sure this will improve as with every update the game becomes more polished.

you will need to play atleast 5 bot games before you look for a normal match just to get yourself used to the way you buy items test skills and get the general flow of the game this is quite easy to pick up you may not even need 5.

All artifacts and breeds ( heroes whatever you want to call them ) in game can be purchased with silver ( premium paid for ) coins or copper coins that you can earn from daily quests and playing in matches though not required to win a game will help. you can unlock these for a set amount of time with keys copper for 1 game silver for 1 day and gold for 1 week you get a set amount of these keys per week and they are replenished every week. i would suggest while in bot games you use the copper keys to unlock artifacts/breeds to try so you can find which ones fit your play style and so you know what to buy 1st, you can get copper keys as a random drop from chests in dungeons inside the game weather your in a bot or normal game.

if you get a beta key you will start with 1 breed there are currently 9 to choose from.

when you buy a piece of armour or a weapon ingame you can see it on you breed skins and other bits of customasation will become available at a later date.

this game has alot of potential and i would highly recommend it if you will take the game as it is currently ( early access ) if you want a 100% polished game then i would suggest you wait till later in its development when more of the kinks are polished.

Early Access Review

I am very sorry, this game has A TON of potential. But in it's current state I do not recommend this, at all. There are a TON of bugs, a very user-unfriendly interface (Both in-game and in the lobby) and no tutorial (Atleast have a tutorial when you're selling a MOBA)

Another reason being is the lack of players. The average amount of players is around 5. No I did not miss a 0 behind the 5. Literally 5 people. On a side note, I have bought the Beta Deluxe pack which is far from the value you would consider getting for 35 Euro's.

At the moment the choices in Breeds (Champions, Heroes, however you would like to call them) is very minimal. The ideas behind the Breeds is very good and innovative, having Daybreeds and Nightbreeds, depending on your Breed of choice this might, or might not, impact your abilities and/or game.

The thing I liked the most about the game is the ability to see what you have bought. By that, I mean that if you buy an axe for example, you are wearing that exact same axe in your hand, or both of your hands if you like to dual wield.

Despite of this game having alot of potential, having to pay atleast around 20 Euro's to get into the closed Beta is ridiculous, I understand it is Early Access but this has gone a bit too far.

You can also level up and gain Rank Points which you can spend to Upgrade your artifact, an in-game item which you have to buy with Silver Coins (Premium Currency) or the currency you gain by playing games, which is hard to do with a lack of players. You can also spend them on your breeds to increasy their stats such as Vitality, Strength etc.

People might say that the lack of players doesn't really matter this much because you can play against bots. There are 2 main problems with this. #1: Eventually you would like to play this game against people, if people have to play bot matches to give feedback, they might take the bots into consideration without noticing because a game with bots is far from the same as a game with actual players. #2: The bots are so damn easy, I have literally seen this a dozen times, an ally/enemy Breed attacks an enemy/ally breed while they are at 50 HP and the opposing breed is at Full-HP, this should be basic programming and should already be fixed. They also appear to not care about any Creep aggro what so ever since they will most likely die to Creeps more than to enemy Breeds. Instead of trying to kill you, they will ignore you when you are on low HP rather than chasing you a bit and trying to actually kill you.

Below I will list the pros and cons (My personal opinion) of this Early Access game (I am not a professional reviewer, I just like to write these. I am just a gamer with an opinion):

- Appearance changing depending on the items you buy.
- Interesting Breed "System".
- Cool theme, dark and creepy-ish.
- Good graphics, runs well on low-end PC's as well.
- Good concept with having PvE mixed in your PvP match, altough this needs alot of updates to be fun and good (For now it's just killing skeletons by clicking on them and waiting for them to die.
- The Behemoth, when you destroy the enemy Crux (Nexus, Ancient etc.) a doorway opens which leads to a Behemoth, which I have yet failed to kill because of the timer (!) on the one and only map available, for now.

- A ton of bugs, this can be forgiven by it being in an Early Access state, I am just stating reasons for why not to buy this game at THIS moment.
- A serious lack in players, ranging from 3-9 daily.
- A lack in Breeds.
- A clunky and non-immersive combat.
- Poor hitboxes, I have often see myself throwing my ability into someone's face and not hitting which is extremely frustrating.
- No tutorial, you have to hover over an item or object to have an indication of what it does or what it's purpose is.
- The difference in prices between the Barebones Pack and the Beta Deluxe Pack is too much for what it offers. Even though this isn't a direct influence of the game, I like to review the game for Price-Performance.
- Frustrating UI. You will be banging your keyboard trying to find your way out of the shop, trying to sell an item or trying to find that 1 item you want.
- It's worse than the F2P MOBA's out there in it's currrent state. But I do think that in the long-run this will be better.

2nd day of playing the actual game and its hard not to like it if not distracted by the early access bugs. Its true that the game feels more like and alpha then beta but those feelings get overrun by the actual gameplay and its core.

This game has lots of potential and cant wait that they start fixing the match making que bugs and other _mandatory_ stuff effecting on the actual gaming experience. Comparing this early access launch to the ones Ive had before I think it could done way worse. Ive actually gotten to play the game 5 times without any disconnecting, so its a 5/5 from me.

I suggest that you support the game devs by purchasing the game so they would get more resources to make the game happen faster. Iam 100% sure that this game and concept is in good hands.

I've been beta testing Deadbreed and it totally rocks even at this early stage. Looks and plays very well. Love the bosses and the underground areas.

This game does look nice, but it is so ♥♥♥♥ing annoying.
Having to wait half a day just to play my first match, because players keep entering and leaving the "Match Players" system sucks. So basically you just have to wait a ♥♥♥♥load of time to play. And when you finally have a match, you have to wait again for the 6 people to accept the match if its 3v3, which sucks, if someone doesnt accept the match, it goes off and you have to restart it all over again.

Menus are all very old looking, gameplay isnt smooth. Just do not buy, not worth it , mostly, if you dont want to wait 1 hour to play a match.

I understand that this is early access, but thats no excuse for having to wait 1 hour to play the game on matchmaking.

Im glad I didnt buy this game (it was offered to me), cause If I had bought it (since I cant even try it), Id be mad as hell.

READ THIS FIRST!: In the update that rolled out on 15.11.2014 the game was made a billion times better than it was before. The update fixed most crucial bugs and so on and updated the interface, graphics and gameplay to pure awesomeness in my opinion.

This review is coming from a person who has played MOBAs for about 4 years.
First, I'd like to address the good and bad sides of this game, then tell about the gameplay.
Epic music
Nice graphics
Innovative and good design ideas
Unique features
Great illustrations

Cons (Remember that this game is Early access):
Glitchy at times (but only sometimes)
Smallish playerbase, BUT it will become larger when this game goes to open beta soon
Buggy sometimes (only sometimes)
Needs a slight bit of work (Inconsistent hitboxes etc.)
Stupid AI (bots just go forward and hit whatever they encounter and don't stop until it's dead. Also bots don't use abilities.)
The game may crash sometimes but it's rather rare

And now, the gameplay: Deadbreed is pretty much like your normal MOBA, if you have played League of Legends' Twisted Treeline-map, this game's map is very similar to that one: two lanes and a "jungle" area in between of them. (a new map came out in the update I previously mentioned, it is similar in core gameplay as the 'normal' map but there's a quest to it: there's a sword in the middle of the map that you can obtain to gain special powers, otherwise the goals are the same) There are no neutral monsters like in LoL or Dota 2, instead there are dungeons in which there are neutral monsters that attack you automatically. There are also a few minibosses in the dungeons. The core gameplay is the same as in LoL and Dota though. You have to destroy the enemy's towers and then their Crux (a door). Behind that door is the boss that you have to defeat in order to win the game. This boss is much like LoL's Baron or Dota's Roshan. If neither team has defeated the enemy-sides boss when 25 minutes have passed, the team with most points will win. The bossfights were made very very intense and fun in the update that came 15.11.2014. You get points from kills, towers, neutrals and resources found around the map that are used to boost specific abilities and to summon special units.
The major unique feature in Deadbreed is the itemization: all items that you put on your Hero, are visible in game. The games menus and HUD are a bit wonky though. Also there are some more powerful items that you can buy with the in-game currency (not real money). These items often come with an ability of their own, like temporary flight and so on. With the in-game items you can build you Hero to whatever you want. For example: 'I have this mage Hero, but I really want to play a fighter.' No problem! You can just equip that mage with fighter items so it becomes melee. (Heroes don't have a predetermined attack-range, it depends on your equipped weapon.) Also there are preset roles that you can equip before a match, so you will be equipped with a certain roles items, like if you pick the mage-set you get a hood, a bit of armor and a spellbook.
All-in-all, Deadbreed is just pretty amazing and if you're a fan of MOBAs, and want to try one with some fresh gameplay-mechanics, why not this one? It's not even terribly expensive.

I'll give Deadbreed 9/10=pretty amazing.

This game is pretty cool. The "Breeds" all feel good and look great. The armory system is a pretty neat concept. It works slightly like an RPG, in that whatever weapon/armor/other thing you equip will appear on your character, giving you an interesting sense of customization for a MOBA.

The game has some interesting mechanics as well, such as summoning a giant troll to aid your team, underground dungeons with monsters and chests filled with gold, giant monsters called Sentinels (each team has one behind large doors you must break through), banners you capture and bring back to your base, and more besides those.

The overall theme of the game is made in a way to be more dark than other MOBAs. Everything from the "breeds" you play as (all of which play in unique ways and look really awesome), to the creeps and towers and sentinels, to the environments themselves and more, have a great and common theme.

This game is definitely worth playing. It is being made by a very small group of developers (three I believe) and should just get better and better as time goes on. The developers are working really hard on it.
