Fun for both the casul player or those that wish to get the highest score. The controls might need a little getting use to but once passed that barrier it isn't a problem. The game is also addictive

After many days of playing I have seen most of what the game gives and one of the things it gives is a very broken register system.

Now im not bad at this game don't get me wrong, I can get a perfect almost every time, unless, heres the thing, unless the game blocks the input, the amount of times I have either hit that Land button or held down the analog to grind and have it just pass right threw is obsurd. I noticed this seems to happon alot after spinning and I know it is not because I hit the rail or ground while spinning since it will register it as a Sloppy land and not me falling over. It seems after spinning there is a a bit less then a Second past the animation where it will block your inputs (because you cant grind or land while spinning which is logical) even though the animation had ended and the spin was finnished.

Though this is not the only bug in the game either, sometimes when attempting a Perfect rail land which most of the time is easy, it will place you under the rail and grind on nothing, once the grind ends though you are launched off the board and forced to restart the level.

Another glitch also happond on one of the daily challenges, landing on a box caused the player to land under them and be stuck forever, the game slowly dropped to around 5 frames per-second and I had to forcefuly shut the game down before it caused problems to my pc.

Also, not a bug but a silly thing in the game, there is no score number while in the combos so I can't learn what tricks are best and what gets more score, I just have to guess, which is very game-breaking for a competative score based game.

I simpaly can not recommend a game with so many very game-breaking bugs left in it, even in one of the games main machanics (the spinning), this bug alone should be quickly fixed.

It's been a long time since a game grabbed me like this. Very addictive. Hard but fair. Super frustrating when you can't hit something, but when you finally do, you feel like a god. Basically like Super Meat Boy but for skateboarding. Great fun.

OlliOlli is a 2D Arcade Skategame and also it is a hell lot of fun!

There are 5 different areas, all with different kinds of spots and difficulties. Also, OlliOlli is a quite diffcult game, especially if you want to break some highscores. Everything is happening quite fast and if you're bailing you'll have to start again.
Also, you'll have to learn how the tricks are executed, because some challenges require certain tricks. OlliOlli will challenge your reactions and your hand-eye coordination!
What I like about it is, that there are lots of different flip and grind tricks, but in my opinion they should have included grabs, lateflips, more grinds/slides and more fliptricks, because it still has space for more tricks and there are some buttons with no function (for example on the xbox 360 controller.) A gamepad is recommended! The leaderboard function and the daily grind feature makes this game highly replayable, although there aren't that much levels. But still, it will take some time if you want to beat all levels with 5 stars plus the pro levels.
I think it would have been awesome to be able to costumize your skater and skateboard, sadly this isn't possible.
Graphics are typical arcade 2d style, but it still looks nice and stylish.
Although it does lack a little bit of content in my opinion (ok, it costs only 11 €), it is an absolute fun game to play.

If you're into arcade/Indie and skate games, you definitely should check this one out!

Kicks ♥♥♥, is a ton of fun and hard as nails. You'll need a controller and good nerves. It's a mix between endless runners like CANABALT, Super Meat boy and the Tony Hawk franchise. The look is a bit uninspired, with very basic visuals but everything is in some way neatly color-coded so you'll know where to grind and where to jump. The soundtrack ranges between smooth bar jazz and dubstep with drops as big as the one in level 5-5.
The 10,99€ Price tag seems steep and could be under 10, but i can't complain. i played more then 13 hours and come back now and then for more, just because it's a fun, easy and fast way to kill time and to pull of some cool looking combos.
Get it! if not now, then on sale.

At first I thought this was going to be a game I wouldn't enjoy and I sort of maintained that mindset when I started playing but the more you play, the more the game feels fluid to you. I've slowly figured out how to get better combos and scores although I still don't think I'll be reaching the top of any of the leader-boards anytime soon (P.S Simon cheats).

I'd highly recommend using a controller for the game. After starting with keyboard controls and then migrating to my Xbox 360 controller, you'll see what I mean.

With changing daily levels and leader-boards, I think many people will come back every day to play the game. The music is also exceptionally awesome (although there is one track I don't really like but you can flick through all the tunes).

At first blush, this may seem similar to titles from Armor Games, but this is much, much deeper and skill-oriented. Timing, variation, and eye-hand coordination are all a factor, particularly if you want to crush the built-in leaderboards. Great effort here and infinitely replayable.

Played a lot on the Vita, but bought again to play on big screen (while waiting for the PS4 version!)

Controls might be a bit difficult at the beginning, specially if coming from Tony Hawk, but once learned they are perfect, and are deep enough to keep improving and getting better scores. This learning curve might also be tough for some players, because it involves practicing many combos (flick movement on the left stick) and learning which of them score bigger than others. But this is really the key to high scores, know what to do, with enough variety and safety (and just doing ollies all along a level is not half the fun)

On the downside, the Vita sticks are perfect for this game, small and short so flicks are super fast todo. While on the Xbox360 controller, the physical movement is longer (so slower to perform), and in my case as it is wireless it adds some lag, so have to press buttons earlier than on the Vita.

Great game, been playing on Vita for weeks now, happily paid again to get it on steam and its just as good.

Helps fill the void left by the death of the Tony Hawk series, and I hope the same team can make a more robust sequel sometime down the road.

OlliOlli is a great little game! It offers tight but hard gameplay, it's retro-inspired pixel-art graphics go along very nicely with some fantastic music!

You're not going to get hundreds of hours out of this game, but if you are looking for a fun casual game to play when you are bored, i would definitely recommend OlliOlli
