Ah Broforce.
A force of Bros bro'ing their force all over generic brown-people's faces.
Broforce is a side-scrolling high-intensity shooter with an emphasis on big explosions, absurd weaponry, and shout outs to an era of action films rife with stereotypical alpha male behavior. The mechanics are simple enough to grasp and the actual number of buttons required to play could be thrown on an SNES controller with buttons to spare.
You and a number of friends will zip across short to somewhat long Bionic Commando-like levels as you decimate enemies within stages before the the inevitable boss battle takes place.

There's a great deal going on visually and the smooth pixelated look goes well with the theme of the game. Sound is pretty solid and captures the gnarliness of Arnold swinging a Conan sized greatsword whilst lamentations continue in the background. The controls can be a bit twitchy and the deadzone for certain controllers may cause some players to fall to their death a few times before getting the hang of things.

I found myself surprised and disappointed by the one-hit kill system in place for your character as there is often so much flying across the screen that it's easy to not realize one pixel is a bullet about to take you down. Constant and erratic movement does help somewhat but you'll likely need to memorize and play through tougher levels via trial and error before nailing the more difficult missions. It's a fun local and online shooter with decent online community so give it a shot.

Never have I felt more free. Everytime I play this game, I get the sensation that George Washington is looking down on me, stroking his bald eagle, and chuckling with mad glee as I rip apart terrorist, alien and pig. Yes. That just happened.
Boom.

I absolutely loved the game. The game is great fun if you like blowing stuff up in the name of America. I also enjoyed the fact that it runs on my dodgey pc. Its also always fun when you unlock a new bro and unleash mayhem upon your enemy.
