About This Game

"Well behaved women seldom make history." - Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

This is the game where good girls get better by being bad!

In the 1920s, young women had a chance to change society--by misbehaving. Gather a gang of girls. Explore. Battle petty townsfolk with quick, naughty games: Fib, Flirt, Taunt... Win boyfriends and other useful prizes. Expose the town's depraved secret before it entraps your girls.

Explore four beautiful game boards, dozens of character cards, and thousands of dialog cards (worn and aged from decades of neglect) which comprise the zany world of an American small town in the 1920s.

Encounter nearly a hundred individual personalities. These denizens form the core culture of intolerance and repression your girls can overcome with wit, charm, and brazenness.

Conflict using a variety of naughty mini-games: Taunt, Flirt, Fib and others to stand up against bullies, cozy up to boyfriends, and evade oppressive expectations.

Conquer increasingly more powerful faculty and townsfolk as the story develops from the curious, to the weird, to the absurd, finally to collapse down a frozen crevasse of all too real inhumanity. Only the victorious will emerge, smirks on their faces, heels on the throats of the wicked, and their futures assured of freedom.

Acquire dozens of prizes to swing games in your favor and help others along your journey. Gain experience and level up the talents of your gang members. Win boyfriends willing to sacrifice themselves for affection.

Wind your way through an epic of literary satire in an fantastical world where nothing is real but all is true, during a mythic time of social upheaval. Help the young women trapped in this world transform it for the betterment of all -- by misbehaving.

  • The approachability and accessibility of a board game.
  • The humor of social satire at a zany point in history.
  • The challenge of verbal battles woven intricately with the story.
  • The epic sweep of an RPG unlike any game previous.
  • 20 hours of leisurely entertainment that can be enjoyed a little bit at a time.

I was gifted this game ironically but it is unironically good. You just go around as a wise-beyond-her-years teenaged girl with a 1920's chic fashion sense and solve inane mysteries, taunt ♥♥♥♥♥y rivals, manipulate boys, and get away with smoking in the basement. I have no idea what the larger plot is (or if there even is one) but, screw it, who cares? Girl power!

It's really cool and interesting talking with people like in the 1920's. I don't know how accurate it is -but it's fun.
The game has charm but overall I can't really recommend it unless it's on a really good sale and you don't care about the following cons:

First off to navigate the map you need to put your mouse to the edge of it and wait while it scrolls to the appropriate area.
This quickly gets tedious since it would be very easy to make the arrow keys or something scroll the map without you having to mouse over everytime. It's a needlessly slow process.

The second con and the biggest is that the game is mostly luck based. You have stats you can increase but you will soon realize that sometimes the only reason you lost - was because of luck. You can win with the worst stats and you can lose with the best.
The minigames themselves are a bit fun though.

It was an OK game, but $20 is too high for a six year indie old game.

Great and unusual game which is near-impossible to sum up but I preferred the old graphics, when they upgraded the character graphics with new pictures of the girls I was sad to find that my fave delinquent didn't look half as cool and badass anymore. Play it anyway.

Fun, charming, and... the 1920s! I expected a smaller game but it offers more hours of gameplay than you would imagine when you look at it for the first time. Turns out the story is pretty interesting and not very obvious, too.

Some cons:

- The minigames are fun but only four, so they get a little repetitive after a while.
- Controls are kind of clunky. They can be annoying but nothing serious.
- The price is a bit outrageous considering the game's limitations. I recommend it if you can get your hands on it during a good promo or in a bundle.

This is one of the most unique (and addictive and fun) games I have played. The mixture of minigames, rpg party building, and board game layout are fun, but what makes it most fascinating is the roaring twenties theme and the strong, humourous, surprisingly dark narrative. This is a really well written game.

I also give it lots of points for a diverse and female-centred cast; I actually can't think of another game in which you can play a wheelchair using teenage social queen.

I recommend this wholeheartedly for anyone looking for a game that really does something creative and different, and does so with great theming and fun gameplay. 9.5/10.

So randomly I decided, lets play a game I've never played before.
I chose this game, and to be frank (not not the guy on the other side of the hall) this game was... bad. I don't find many games where I actually do not enjoy playing even the bad ones I find some sick fun in playing, but this was just bad in a way that made me feel bad, I like playing the bad person in games but this is like... too much without any sense of good. Granted if you enjoy making cliques and bullying people around in the 1920's Well by all means go ahead and play. Viola is the baddest ♥♥♥♥♥ of them all and she will not take your ♥♥♥♥. Good luck, have fun.

The title should be reworked to it saying "You're a dangerous high school girl and all others are in trouble.

So now the standard game rating:
  • Story: 8/10 (I like it, makes me feel like a bad ♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥.)
  • Gameplay: 6/10 (The game consists of click click clique, there are few mechanics in the game but from what I've played its not much of a game but more of an experience.)
  • Presentation: 10/10 (I really like the style of the game, everything about it is honestly good, the dialog and visuals just make the game fantastic.)
  • Soundtrack: X/10 (Non-memorable or maybe non-existent?)
  • Replayability: X/10 (I can't rate this because I can't play this without hating my choices. Therefor I cannot play through a single run or replay it.)

Buy this game or Viola will rek ur ♥♥♥♥

Its a game about dangerous high school girls and their troubles. The objective of the game is to become the baddest ♥♥♥♥♥ and become the new god of the school. To acomplish this you must defeat all the other dangerous highschool girls by insulting them and showing how you are vastly superiour than they are. Along your crusade you will come across apostles who will be assisting you on your conquest to become top baddest ♥♥♥♥♥ god. Apostles are even willing to sacrifice themselves to assure your success in your ascension to godhood. The only thing that stands between you and godhood are a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minigames.

Quite interesting for a board game type of game.. if you prefer action and rpg type of fast-pace games, it might be a little boring...

I actually really enjoy this game for playing between other games, or winding down before bed at night.
It's in a board game format if the board game were far more complicated than necessary, You're a sexy ♥♥♥♥♥ who goes and recruits other sexy ♥♥♥♥♥es, and you go solve mysteries.

If you don't like slow gameplay, repetetive mini games, or reading a whole lot you'll probably hate this game.

If you enjoy an intriguing storyline, like boardgame play, or if you're a connoisseur of unique and interesting indie games, you'll probably enjoy this one.

I have to stress that this is not a game you sit down and play for hours on end, I've had it for ages and I play it in small spurts and still haven't finished it.

I'll be frank, I received this game as a joke gift from some stranger because it was hurting them to even keep in their inventory.

After fiddling around trying to even get the game to run at a decent aspect ratio without graphical errors, I played a bit.

I've never wanted to remove a game from my library, but I do now, because this game besmirches all that I am as a person by even having my name associated with it in any way.
